The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2136: Chapter 2136: What Happened Back Then (2)

”What do you mean by not understanding?” Yang Ruxin was displeased, ”You just recount what happened back then, and I’ll analyze who was right and who was wrong. Wouldn’t that clear things up?”

”But...”

”If you don’t tell me, don’t eat anything I cook in the future.” Yang Ruxin said, snatching the remaining chicken leg from Dao Xuzi’s hand, ”And don’t ask me for any ginseng or radishes either.”

”Xinxin, you can’t be like this, you...” Dao Xuzi was stunned when he heard this. He wanted to make a last-ditch effort, but facing Yang Ruxin’s determined gaze, he could only sigh, ”Alright, I don’t know too much detail.”

Yang Ruxin then pulled Dao Xuzi aside to hear the story.

Yu Qingge certainly didn’t want to be left out and followed along.

Back then, Nian Qianqian wasn’t only the most beautiful, but her martial arts were exceptional, and she was very righteous and straightforward. She was truly admired by the young talents of Wulin, though Nian Qianqian had a childhood betrothed fiancé.

Back in the day, the pair known as Tianxuan and Dihuang were considered the top martial artists. They were righteous and highly respected, each taking on a disciple: Changyangzi and Dao Xuzi. After these two completed their training, Tianxuan and Dihuang went on a wandering journey.

Once, Changyangzi was injured while facing a group of robbers and was saved by the eldest son of the Yao Family of Central Plains, who also offered him a place to recuperate. During this time, he met Nian Qianqian, the betrothed fiancée of the Yao Family’s eldest son.

For some unknown reason, Nian Qianqian fell for Zhang Changyang, and the two even became intimate, which the Yao Family’s eldest son discovered.

The Yao Family’s eldest son truly liked Nian Qianqian and insisted on continuing with the marriage, pretending not to know as long as Nian Qianqian forgot Zhang Changyang, even kneeling to beg Zhang Changyang to let her go.

Zhang Changyang, already feeling guilty and ashamed, loved Nian Qianqian but faced with the request of his savior, he let go.

But who would have known that Nian Qianqian refused the Yao Family’s eldest son and searched everywhere for Zhang Changyang.

In the end, for some reason unknown, the Yao Family’s eldest son died...

”I don’t know what exactly happened afterward; Zhang Changyang, that old man, simply wouldn’t say.” Dao Xuzi sighed.

Yang Ruxin also sighed along, what a melodramatic situation, even involving a death in the middle. Though it can’t be said they killed him, feeling guilt is normal, no wonder they’ve been avoiding it all these years. However, Changyangzi is somewhat selfish, as the deceased is already buried, leaving the living in such pain is unjustified.

Although there was an interlude here, it didn’t affect the ongoing martial arts competition on the stage, which continued intensely. Soon, another batch of participants was eliminated, leaving only four people. Next, the two-on-two matches would commence.

At this moment, Nian Qianqian had already chased Changyangzi halfway up the mountain.

However, due to a panicked escape, Changyangzi didn’t descend from the uphill path but ran towards the back mountain.

The front of Mount Tai is called Shiba Pan, and the back is called Peach Blossom Gully.

Shiba Pan’s terrain is steep, but there is at least a path for climbing down, while Peach Blossom Gully has no road at all. So, halfway down, there was nowhere to land because below was a vertical cliff with no visible bottom. Even with excellent Qinggong skills, one would not dare to hastily descend without knowing the terrain.
