The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1257: Chapter 1257: Gu Yang (5)

Yang Ruxin and Shadow Three Shangguan Fei both sighed in relief.

The next victor was a man named Dou Hu, only slightly taller than Yang Ruxin, with fidgety mung bean triangular eyes, and a pair of upward-curved mustache, looking sleazy no matter how you looked at him.

Yang Ruxin glanced at the other three winners, thinking that Miss Wan wouldn’t choose this man unless she were blind.

Then, it was her turn to perform, she was number five, the last one.

Her opponent, number nine, was a bulky man, probably about 1.9 meters tall, his thighs alone were thicker than hers, but he too jumped onto the stage with ease, showing his impressive qinggong skills.

Yang Ruxin still climbed the wooden ladder to get up, and when she stood in front of him, she only reached his chest. The guy was even taller than Gu Qingheng, with dark skin, eyes like bells, and he wielded a large cleaver, looking like he belonged with the temple guardians.

Yang Ruxin instantly felt some pressure.

The bulky man looked down at the petite Yang Ruxin with a disdainful expression, and waved his large hand, ”Kid, let’s not fight, you better leave the stage. I am strong and I might hurt you accidentally...”

Yang Ruxin laughed upon hearing this, the man seemed kind-hearted, but she could not just leave, she waved her hand, ”How can I leave? I’ve fought hard to get the Embroidered Ball, and I’m closer to the beauty now. I must try my best, right? Just go easy on me, hero...”

”Since that’s the case, I’ll be gentle then,” the big man smiled, and raised his hand in thanks.

”Thank you,” Yang Ruxin returned the gesture, then pulled out her whip but gave Xiaolun a cue.

She knew she couldn’t beat him in a fight, so she had to rely on Xiaolun’s craftiness.

Though the big man was good, with great strength, even a skilled fighter might not be his match. However, Yang Ruxin didn’t confront him head-on, but dodged his chopping blows and whipped her weapon toward him, Xiaolun, coiled around her wrist, flew out with the movement of the whip, slid into the man’s clothes, bit him at his itch acupoint, and then bit again at his knee...

The big man’s arm twitched, and his legs faltered... He couldn’t even complete his chopping motions, let alone walk properly, and his cleaver clanged to the ground.

Yang Ruxin smiled faintly and coiled the whip around his neck.

The bulky man looked at Yang Ruxin in horror, not expecting such a small person to be so formidable. Her whip seemed to have eyes of its own, it hit him no matter how much he tried to dodge... It seemed like he didn’t have a chance to fight back at all... He sighed in frustration, ”I lost.”

”Thank you for letting me win,” Yang Ruxin retracted her whip, as Xiaolun also curled back around her wrist.

”Please, young master, leave your name,” said the middle-aged man previously hosting.

”Gu Yang,” Yang Ruxin smiled slightly.

”Then, please follow me up the mountain,” the middle-aged man nodded slightly, then glanced at the other four, gestured invitingly, and beneath the stage, five horse-drawn carriages were already waiting.

Yang Ruxin turned back and winked at Gu Qingheng before getting into one of the horse carriages.
