The Feng Shui Treasure Appraiser

397: Chapter 397 Little Sister-in-LawChangle Private Kitchen.

Han Jingyang stared at the restaurant for a few seconds, pulled out his phone, found Huang Zhiyun’s number, and dialed it.

A few seconds later, the call connected.

Huang Zhiyun’s voice came through: ”Brother Han? How do you have the time to call me?”

Han Jingyang chuckled and said, ”Well, I wanted to taste your cooking. I’m calling to see if there’s a private room available; I heard the rooms here have to be booked in advance.”

”Which shop?”

”The one on Jing’er Road.”

”There is, there definitely is. If there isn’t, I’ll clear out the manager’s office for you to use as a private room. But Brother, if you want to taste my cooking, I’m afraid it’s too late for today.”

”Why’s that? Busy?”

”Sigh, I’m not over there. How about another day? My treat.”

”Alright, let’s talk another day. But I’ll still have to trouble you today; since I’m already here, I’m too lazy to go elsewhere.”

”Fine, Brother, go on in. I’ll give the manager a heads-up.”

Who was Huang Zhiyun?

He was the fellow fisherman Han Jingyang had met in Dongpo Village, the founder of Changle Private Kitchen, and a former state banquet chef with quite a reputation in Quancheng.

Han Jingyang had eaten Huang Zhiyun’s grilled fish before, and the taste was indeed excellent. He still remembered the flavor—fresh, tender, perfectly textured, and the seasoning was incredibly aromatic and satisfying.

But...

Han Jingyang hung up the phone, nodded to Shi Xiaoya and the others, and walked straight into the restaurant.

As soon as he entered, a female manager came forward to greet him: ”Mr. Han?”

Han Jingyang nodded slightly. ”Where is your boss?”

”Mr. Han, our boss isn’t at the shop, but he called specifically to tell me to give you the best service. I’ve already prepared the best private room; please follow me.”

”How big is the room?”

”It’s about a dozen square meters, but it’s definitely enough. Of course, if you have any other requirements, you can tell me, and I’ll do my best to satisfy them.”

”What about the food? What’s available?”

”That depends on your personal needs. Except for those that require advance preparation, the rest can be made fresh.”

”Can you make things even if you don’t have the ingredients?”

”We can go to the mall to buy them after you order. Additionally, we have some private sources, with supply agreements directly signed with farmers and fishermen. The ingredients they provide don’t taste like the ones sold in the markets; you’ll know as soon as you taste it...”

The restaurant manager introduced everything enthusiastically, covering every detail without getting tired of it, maintaining a high level of passion and an impeccable attitude.

After reaching the second-floor corridor, Han Jingyang asked again: ”Is your boss really not here?”

The female manager smiled and nodded: ”Yes, Mr. Han, our boss didn’t come in today.”

”Are you sure?”

”Very sure.”

Han Jingyang sighed. ”People who lie have to swallow a thousand needles.”

As the words fell, he raised his foot and kicked one of the private room doors.

*Bang—*

The sturdy, soundproofed solid wood door burst open, revealing a large hole.

Then he reached out, turned the handle of the now-open door, pushed it open, and entered. He waved at the pale-faced Huang Zhiyun inside: ”Boss Huang, didn’t you say you weren’t here?”

Huang Zhiyun stared at Han Jingyang with a dark expression: ”Han Jingyang, what is the meaning of this?”

”What’s the meaning? You tell me.”

”What can I say? I’m just having a meal with my guests, yet you come and kick down my door. What do you mean? Are you looking for trouble?”

”Looking for trouble?” Han Jingyang smiled. ”No, no, no. I’m not looking for trouble; I’m looking for someone.”

”What does you looking for someone have to do with me?” Huang Zhiyun grew even more furious. ”If you can’t find someone, go to the police. What’s the point of kicking my door down? You’ve disturbed my guests, and I’m not done with you. Han Jingyang, don’t think you can bully people just because you know a bit of metaphysics. I’m telling you, there’s always someone better out there. If you keep acting so overbearing, retribution will catch up to you sooner or later.”

”Retribution?” Han Jingyang sneered. ”If someone is going to get retribution, it certainly won’t be me. As for who it will be, hehehe...”

As he spoke, his gaze moved to the other people in the private room.

Finally, he locked onto a middle-aged woman and curled his finger: ”Come out.”

The middle-aged woman looked up blankly: ”Me?”

Han Jingyang smiled. ”As long as you nod, no one can hurt you. Of course, if you shake your head, I’ll assume you’ve joined their side. At that point, I can’t guarantee what will happen.”

”Young man, I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

”No, you do.”

At that moment, a thick-browed burly man next to the middle-aged woman slammed the table and stood up, pointing at Han Jingyang and cursing: ”Fuck you! I’m just trying to have a meal, and you fucking kick the door down. What? You think you can bully us because we’re from out of town?”

A middle-aged man with grayish-white hair beside the burly man quickly pulled him back, repeatedly bowing and smiling apologetically at Han Jingyang: ”Little brother, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. We really don’t know what we did wrong, but it doesn’t matter. We’ll leave right now. We’ll leave Quancheng immediately and never show up in front of you again to annoy you. Sorry, truly sorry.”

While speaking, he scolded the burly man: ”Junzi, apologize! We’re here to do business, not to fight. When will you ever learn to control that temper of yours? If you keep this up, I won’t take you out with me next time.”

He then pressed his hands together in apology toward Han Jingyang: ”My subordinate has a bad temper. I apologize on his behalf. I’m truly sorry.”

The grayish-white-haired man’s attitude was extremely sincere.

So sincere it was almost groveling.

He looked exactly like an outsider being bullied by a local thug, appearing as aggrieved as could be.

Han Jingyang smiled and clapped. ”Good, very good. What a move, playing the weakling. If an outsider saw this, they’d think I was some kind of tyrant and wonder how I’d bullied you. But this trick won’t work on me. I may be young, but I’m not that easy to fool.”

At this point, he suddenly drew the longsword in his hand.

Everyone, including Huang Zhiyun, recoiled in terror, hiding as far away as possible like vampires seeing the sun.

This made him laugh out loud. ”Don’t be afraid. This isn’t *that* sword. I don’t need a killing move like that to deal with the likes of you.”

Everyone, including Huang Zhiyun, breathed a sigh of relief.

But he continued, ”However, this sword is quite good too. It’s also a dharma instrument, and a rather powerful one at that. It’s more than enough to handle you.”

Huang Zhiyun exchanged looks with the others, then took a step forward and said respectfully, ”Mr. Han, we really have no intention of being your enemy.”

”Is that so?”

”Yes.”

”Then give her back to me.”

”This...”

”Is there a problem?”

”She has nothing to do with you, right? On the contrary, her relationship with us is much closer. Her coming here was also of her own free will...”

Han Jingyang waved his hand dismissively. ”I’m not interested in hearing your sophistry. I only know she is my little sister-in-law. No matter what method you used to take her away, I will take action.”

”Little sister-in-law?”

”Is there a problem?”

”This... where is this coming from?”

”That’s not something you need to know,” Han Jingyang said, then fixed his gaze on the middle-aged woman. ”Sister-in-law, let’s go. Come home with me. Big Brother is waiting for you. As for the problems you’ve encountered, leave them to me; I’ll handle them completely.”

The middle-aged woman slowly lowered her head and remained silent.

Han Jingyang narrowed his eyes, his sharp gaze sweeping over the others. ”Are you going to stop me?”
