Beauty Chairwoman’s Bodyguard Expert

Chapter 1796: Chapter 1789: The Past Like the Wind (Part 2)

”Since ancient times, heroes have always loved beautiful women, and beautiful women have likewise loved heroes. Your father’s strong appearance completely captured your mother’s heart. They became friends in a very short time and even developed feelings for each other.”

At this point, the old man let out a long sigh: ”However, your father wasn’t like you, prepared with backup plans to protect himself. After your father and mother got together, those playboys who wanted to pursue your mother naturally wouldn’t give up, constantly causing trouble for your father, but they were all beaten up by him, and many more were crippled. Because of these incidents, your father became a thorn in the side, a bone stuck in the throats of many influential families in Beijing.”

”Moreover, under the machinations of those with ill intentions, these playboys actually banded together, secretly bribing your mother’s agent to lure her to a hotel, planning to drug and humiliate her, then send the photos to your mother for revenge. But relying on your mother’s intelligence, how many people could plot against her? She seized the opportunity to secretly call your father for rescue.”

”Given that your father and mother had feelings for each other back then, how could he endure it upon hearing the news? In a rage for his beloved woman, he rushed to that hotel, directly killed the main culprit involved, and crippled the remaining playboys. This action of your father truly disregarded any consequences, reaching an extreme level of arrogance, directly positioning himself against the influential families in Beijing.”

”And because of your father’s actions, the influential families in Beijing were utterly set on killing him. Back then, your grandfather was a late-stage mythical level expert, and the Lu Family was nearly considered the number one family in China, with immense influence in Beijing. If your father were allowed to continue to grow, it would be a colossal threat to them. Once he inherited the position of Head of the Lu Family, he would certainly not let them off.”

”No power wanted to see this, so the families behind those playboys united, sending experts to assassinate your father. However, they grossly underestimated your father’s strength and the influence of the Lu Family in Beijing. All these experts were thoroughly wiped out, and several influential families in Beijing were annihilated.”

”At that time, the Yang Family sent a late-stage mythical level expert, Yang Shenxing, to kill your father. Although Ji Xingyun intervened to save your father in the end, he was severely injured. Because your father was injured on behalf of your mother, during this time, your father and mother finally came together, and your mother became pregnant.”

”During this time, due to your father’s actions, he directly angered all the influential families in Beijing, making them eager to eliminate him, because if your father reached the late stage of mythical level, how could he spare them?”

”Your grandfather, who was far away in Jiangnan, was furious upon learning of this, believing your father was foolish for doing such things for an actress. He immediately scolded your father over the phone, wanting him to give up on your mother. But your father resolutely refused, nearly driving your grandfather insane. However, blood is thicker than water; helplessly, to protect your father, your grandfather stepped back, giving up all the Lu Family’s influence in Beijing, and told your father to go to each influential family’s doorstep to plead for forgiveness.”

”Your father also knew that if he didn’t plead for forgiveness, these families wouldn’t let it go and might harm your pregnant mother. In the end, your father, bearing a rod, pleaded at the doorsteps of the major families, asking for their forgiveness. And these families, pressured by the Lu Family’s influence, eventually chose to forgive your father.”

”After this, your grandfather forcibly ordered your father to give up on your mother and return to the Lu Family, but your father staunchly refused. In the end, your grandfather stormed out of Beijing in anger, leaving with the words, if you don’t give up on Jiang Hongyan, then you no longer have me as a father. Never set foot in the Lu Family again; the Lu Family will consider you non-existent.”

At this point, the old man’s tone grew even more grave: ”When I learned of this, I was extremely furious, thinking your grandfather was utterly blind. How could my daughter, Jiang Liufeng’s daughter, not be worthy of him? I went to Jiangnan, wanting to teach your grandfather a harsh lesson, but in the end, neither of us could do anything. This incident made me particularly angry, unhappy, so I called your mother, telling her to leave your father. But her choice was the same as your father’s, refusing to leave him even if it killed her. At the time, because of my anger at your grandfather, I told your mother, if you still consider me your father, then return from Beijing. If not, then I have no daughter.”

”And it was precisely because of this incident that set the stage for my parents’ death, isn’t it?” Lu Tianxing spoke first, not waiting for the old man to respond.

”That’s right.”

The old man nodded, saying: ”It was because of this incident that your mother cut off contact with me, and your father severed ties with the Lu Family. It wasn’t until after you were born that I heard the news. I wanted to call your mother, but I couldn’t swallow my pride.”

Here, the old man’s face showed deep regret: ”Because I couldn’t swallow my pride, unwilling to take the initiative to call your mother, this brewed a tragedy. As you know, certain things happened in the Lu Family. Your uncle, Lu Hongda, always resented your father, believing that your father stole the position of family head from him. Especially when he saw your grandfather gave up the Lu Family’s influence in Beijing for him, yet still allowed him to inherit the position of family head in the future, your uncle became twisted inside. Secretly, he wrote two letters sent to Beijing; one was for your father, and the other for those influential families in Beijing....”

At this point, the old man’s face was already covered with a layer of frost, a fierce killing intent erupted from him, making the whole room feel like it suddenly entered the deep winter: ”And because of that letter, your father was lured out of Beijing, ultimately ambushed by the influential families in Beijing. To save you and your mother, your father had bodyguards take your mother away first, while he stayed behind to hold everyone back. But in the end, outnumbered, your father died, and even his body went missing. Your mother also disappeared, and you, who had just been born, mysteriously vanished.”
