I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

Inside the cell, the tattooed man fought to regulate his rapid breathing and suppress the frantic pounding of his heart that threatened to shatter his ribs. He realized the gravity of his mistake and his gross misjudgment of the situation when he had allowed the guards to catch his sudden shock and agitation, drawing their sharp, suspicious gazes directly upon him; he knew with grim certainty that they would now intensify surveillance and double patrol sweeps around his entire sector.

He had drawn unwanted attention at the worst possible time, which was the absolute last thing he wanted inside this horrific, tomb-like holding facility.

Yet he attempted to recover and strived not to appear any more suspicious to the watchful eyes. Instead of remaining seated in a tense, exposed position, he lay down on the dilapidated metal bunk inside his cell and slowly turned his body to face away from the iron door, feigning deep sleep and utter indifference.

His mind was initially scattered and chaotic, crowded with hundreds of complex questions. However, as soon as movement settled down the corridor and the heavy thud of the guards’ boots faded into silence, he steeled his resolve and summoned the courage to open the mental communication link with that hidden voice penetrating his skull and reaching the depths of his mind.

It felt nearly impossible and entirely contrary to all standard human experiences, yet somehow he felt as though he instinctively knew how to draft and project his thoughts automatically—a sensation transcending anything he had ever experienced through his physical senses in his entire life!

[Can... can you truly hear me, stranger? Or have I completely lost my mind?]

The tattooed man asked inwardly in a trembling voice, attempting to acclimate to this miraculous, direct form of telepathic communication.

Instantly, Cain’s swift and direct response resonated within the chambers of his mind without a moment’s delay! Cain possessed penetrating spatial vision that allowed him to look straight through solid, reinforced concrete walls to see the tattooed man resting on his bunk; the sight of the inmate’s terror and panic appeared mildly amusing to Cain.

{I hear you with crystal clarity... Now listen to me carefully and execute what I dictate to you verbatim without adding or omitting a single detail, and I guarantee that you and the majority of prisoners in this sector will walk out of this detention facility alive and free within a few short hours!}

Cain continued transmitting his decisive instructions telepathically:

{I will deliver to you the primary master keycard that overrides the electronic locks of every single cell and corridor in this sector... Use it immediately to unlock the gates for as many inmates as possible. Not only that, but I will pass you hundreds of duplicate copies of these keycards so you can swiftly distribute them among your close associates and crew; have them fan out across every hallway and gallery to open every single cell without exception!}

The tattooed man could hardly believe what his senses were receiving through telepathic projection! This plan was by far the most dangerous and audacious undertaking a human could attempt in a lifetime!

He marvelled in absolute shock: why would a man possessing such miraculous, mind-boggling powers—powers that defied all human logic—choose him specifically to execute this?! Despite the horrifying risk to his life that could easily end with a bullet to his head, a golden opportunity like this would never present itself again. A person holding such transcendent power and authority would undoubtedly shower him with a mythical reward if he executed his mission with absolute precision.

The prisoner reviewed the instructions in his mind for the tenth time, letting his imagination run wild as he pondered the true identity of this incredible man wearing a sanitation worker’s uniform and speaking to him in such a magical manner... Was he a high-level spy working for a hostile foreign state? Or was he an entity from another realm entirely?

Yet as he delved deeper into thought and recalled the details of their recent interaction, he remembered that this exact same man had openly asked him just minutes ago about the location of ”Old Man Darren”—the godfather and spiritual patriarch of the Smile Organization!

The blood froze in the prisoner’s veins for a moment, and a cold shiver coursed through his spine, causing his body hair to stand on end as a mounting realization took hold: could this individual be a prominent, top-ranking member of the Smile Organization?! But then he recalled seeing in recent official news reports that the organization had been utterly dismantled, most of its leadership arrested, and its actual presence eradicated from the real world!

Still, these supernatural capabilities he was currently experiencing firsthand inside his head closely mirrored the legends and tales whispered about members of the Smile Organization’s secret cell—individuals who were said to wield superhuman powers that defied physics and reality itself! He had previously dismissed those rumors as mere gangland exaggeration, but now he was living through it himself and could not doubt it in the slightest.

So... if this man was indeed one of the Smile Organization’s leaders who had infiltrated this place specifically to break Godfather Darren out from the core of detention... how could a high-level professional commit the absurd blunder of uttering ”Darren’s” name out loud and inquiring about him in front of soldiers in the open corridors?!

That initial slip undoubtedly looked like the clumsy action of an amateur lacking the most basic rules of stealth and tactics...

Yet when he re-examined it from a deeper angle, he surmised that this public display was nothing short of an ”aptitude test”—a deliberate trial of courage posed by Cain to test his psychological fortitude and ability to absorb the plan without panicking! Since he had been entrusted with this pivotal and dangerous mission, he had to perform it to perfection and prove his absolute worth.

Meanwhile, inside the locked and darkened cell...

Cain looked calmly at Lucy, whose body had begun to radiate a glowing, elegant purple magical aura that illuminated the cell’s gloom with a subtle, enchanting light. With a swift movement of her magic and a gentle flick of her fingers, a massive leather pouch materialized out of thin air, containing an immense stack of plastic cards identical in dimensions to standard bank credit cards!

Cain had purchased this large batch of random, discarded blank cards from a local scrap store in the city prior to launching the operation... And now that Lucy had imbued them with a rich flow of her mana—reprograming their codes instantly after analyzing the facility’s electronic lock algorithms through her transcendent magical eyes—these cards were capable of overriding and bypassing the most formidable lock encryptions, disabling their security response the instant they touched any electronic scanner!

Now, the only remaining step for this airtight plan was to deliver these charged keycards to the tattooed man through a tiny dimensional tear, put the remaining guards patrolling the corridor to sleep with a subtle slumber spell, and trigger alarms across all sectors to initiate a full emergency state and paralyze high command!

Right before doing so, Cain would open a magical portal to bring two members of the Ian family into the cell to replace them, wearing Cain and Lucy’s attire under a disguise of high-tier visual camouflage magic... And through this simple strategy, they would secure the jailbreak and exoneration with the absolute minimum number of casualties, maintaining total control over the flow of events!

How would you like the execution of the jailbreak and the confrontation with Darren to unfold next?
