I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

After a full minute of watching, Nathan lay battered upon the asphalt, slapped and struck at the hands of the chubby man, screaming continuous pleas in a hoarse tone: ”Mr. Cain! Save me, please! This maniacal fatty is going to kill me!”

Yet he barely concluded his plea before receiving a thunderous slap to his jaw that caused him to stammer, unable to comprehend what was issuing from his mouth thereafter.

The chubby man growled in rampant rage, raising his colossal fist: ”You lowlife rascal! I swear to you... even if Jesus himself descended today to save you from my hands, you shall not escape without taking your full due of beatings and pulverization!”

The chubby man descended upon him with consecutive punches, forcing Nathan to begin crawling along the sidewalk with difficulty. Yet the chubby man satisfied not himself with that; rather, he leaped with his massive frame—weighing nearly two hundred kilograms—to drop like a heavy guillotine atop poor Nathan’s body, who let out a muffled groan from the sheer intensity of pain and pressure!

Lucy stood contemplating the scene with light annoyance, stating calmly: ”I reckon we ought to save him now before he finishes grinding him and genuinely causes his death...”

Cain offered a silent nod of agreement, whereupon he turned toward Lucy beside him, stating with firmness: ”Can you alter my attire rapidly utilizing your disguise magic?”

Lucy offered a confident nod.

On the other side of the portal, Nathan was subjected to a continuous barrage of kicks and punches, to the extent that he lost the capacity to speak in a normal fashion or utter coherent sounds.

Following desperate and agonizing attempts, Nathan gathered the remnants of his strength and rose unsteadily, realizing his sole hope rested in fleeing inside the house! He broke into a sprint toward the exterior door, inserting his trembling hand into his trousers pocket to retrieve the key rapidly before that chubby man, who roared behind him like an enraged King Kong, caught up to him!

Nathan reached the door, leaning upon it with ragged breath... yet he froze instantly in his tracks in utter shock; he recalled at that critical second that he possessed not the key to begin with! He had granted it to Cain in the jewelry shop mere moments ago!

Abruptly, the chubby man reached him, seizing his shirt collar while screaming in a savage tone: ”Take this, you cunning scoundrel!”

Before Nathan closed his eyes, surrendering to his inevitable fate while scenes of his life began flashing before him in slow motion... a firm and dignified voice broke through the venue abruptly:

”Respected sir! What precisely is transpiring here?! And wherefore are you two brawling in this hideous manner?! Conduct yourselves with civility at once!”

Nathan opened his eyes in astonishment; there had abruptly materialized—as though emerging from nothingness—a man wearing a classic police uniform, flanked by a woman who likewise wore police attire.

The glaring issue rested not within the uniform, but within Cain himself; he possessed a long, thick, and excessively straight mustache, wearing a traditional police cap and dark black sunglasses in the middle of the night, completing the appearance with a formal police uniform! He literally embodied the superficial, stereotypical archetype of a police officer appearing within ancient cinematic films!

The chubby man turned, looking in annoyance: ”Officer! You know not what this little scoundrel performed while I was strolling in peace!”

Cain glared sternly toward Nathan, who gazed at him with eyes brimming with tears as though he were the savior angel dispatched from the heavens to his rescue!

However...

SMACK!

A slap!

Cain slapped him with all his strength across his cheek!

Cain stated in fabricated anger, rubbing his hand: ”I know this breed of scoundrel well! He undoubtedly performed something foul and provocative to induce you to rage in this fashion!”

Nathan stood on the verge of bursting into tears from the sheer shock and pain; he had uttered not a single word yet, nevertheless receiving beatings anew!

The chubby man screamed, pointing his thumb: ”This scoundrel took advantage of my distraction and struck me ruthlessly from behind! These scoundrels respect the elders in no manner whatsoever!”

Cain turned toward Nathan once more, glaring at him with sharp gazes, while Nathan contented himself with gazing at him in silent pleading and entreaty not to slaughter him.

Cain stated in a firm tone: ”Hmm... I see that. I reckon he deserves vastly more than a mere simple slap!”

CLOBBER!

A thunderous kick!

Cain kicked Nathan upon his rear with the exact same force, causing him to leap into the air from the intensity of the pain, groaning in grief.

Cain turned toward the chubby man, stating solemnly: ”Therefore... what think you if we transport him immediately to the precinct to be held accountable in an official and legal fashion?”

Nathan’s face turned completely dark from terror, and he began moving his trembling finger in absolute negation, nearly begging Cain refraining from performing this to him and taking him to a real police station within this fake disguise!

The chubby man stated in a firm voice filled with rage: ”I... I agree with the officer! Scoundrels like him ought to be punished at once!”

Nathan attempted to turn to Cain, stating in plea: ”Mr. C—”

SMACK!

Another slap across his mouth!

Cain stated with severity: ”You possess no right to speak whatsoever! Pardon me, sir, you may depart and pursue your errands in peace, and I alongside my colleague shall personally undertake transporting this scoundrel to the precinct.”

The chubby man looked at the exhausted Nathan, unable to resist a final urge; he delivered a powerful kick to his stomach, causing Nathan to collide with the wooden door, saliva dripping from his mouth from the intensity of the pain!

The chubby man stated with satisfaction: ”Thank you, Officer!”

Whereupon he turned and departed with heavy strides away from the street.

Nathan stood tracking his trail, on the verge of weeping from joy and relief; even though he was subjected to the most hideous varieties of beatings and punches, he had survived certain death via a miracle!

Cain exhaled a heavy sigh after verifying that the chubby man had distanced himself completely, vanishing into the darkness of the street... whereupon he turned toward Lucy with a face dripping with solemnity and suppressed anger.

Cain stated in a tone brimming with frustration: ”Lucy... in all seriousness, do you behold this farce with which you have attired me?! A police officer?! I appear at best like an individual performing the role of a police officer within an elementary school children’s play!”

Lucy replied with innocence: ”Wherefore? The thick mustache makes you appear vastly more solemn! Even that colossal man believed entirely that you were a genuine police officer!”

Cain struck his forehead with his palm in helplessness: ”Do you desire that we be arrested for the crime of forgery and impersonation in truth?! He is merely a stupid fool who failed to notice details... Oh, fine, set aside this ridiculous mustache... can you explain to me what this is precisely?!”

Cain pointed his angry finger toward the embroidered emblem upon the shoulder of the police uniform, which was inscribed in raised lettering: [Detroit Police].

Cain shouted in a lowered, disapproving voice: ”In all your mind... Detroit Police within the State of Nebraska, in Omaha City?! Do you even know the colossal distance separating us from Detroit?!”
