I, the Destined Villain, Will Win Over the Female Lead Right from the Start

62: Chapter 62 I said this was legitimate self-defense... is that alright?Captain Chen looked at the anime cosplaying girl holding her head, then looked at Qin Yun, and said suspiciously.

”You wouldn’t have taken a liking to this girl and plan to take her away, would you? I’m telling you, it’s been confirmed that she deliberately caused harm. No one can take her away.”

Qin Yun sighed, ”Then I can only call Director Wang...”

”You can’t call anyone! This is the principle! If everyone was like you, wouldn’t society be in chaos?”

Captain Chen said righteously, looking as if he was about to eradicate all injustice in the world. Qin Yun didn’t argue with him and directly took out his laptop, pulling up the airport surveillance footage.

Although Captain Chen was surprised at how easily Qin Yun could access the video, when he saw the scene of Meng Ruxin sending Zhao Zixuan flying with a single palm, he immediately said.

”Look, look! The evidence is irrefutable. You have nothing to say now, do you?”

Captain Chen shouted excitedly, even his spit seemed to be flying out. Qin Yun said with a slight hint of disdain.

”Don’t get so agitated, you’re spitting on my face.”

As soon as Qin Yun spoke, a chuckle came from beside him. Turning around, he found that the young police officer he had just started mentoring this year couldn’t help but laugh.

Captain Chen’s mouth twitched, and he immediately said, ”Don’t change the subject. The surveillance video clearly shows this is intentional harm.”

Qin Yun revealed a calm smile, ”Would you like to take a closer look?”

”Hmm?”

Captain Chen was stunned. Qin Yun zoomed in on the screen, the camera focusing on Zhao Zixuan’s hand, which seemed to be trying to pull something. Captain Chen rubbed his eyes before he finally saw clearly.

This guy was trying to pull the strap of her dress on her shoulder. After Captain Chen noticed this, Qin Yun said softly.

”The situation is roughly like this: this man tried to flirt, but failed. He seemed to get angry and wanted to pull the girl’s clothes. You know, this is an airport. If her strap broke, she would be exposed in front of thousands of people.

She might even be photographed and posted online, her private life exposed, leading to rumors and dirty jokes... all sorts of things could happen. Haven’t enough people committed suicide due to cyberbullying? And Young Miss Meng Ruxin was just afraid of these things happening, which is why she accidentally hit him. I believe this can be called... legitimate self-defense.”

As soon as Qin Yun said this, Captain Chen’s eyes widened, ”Are you kidding me? This can be self-defense?”

”If a woman is assaulted and can’t resist, then... it’s time for this law to be amended. I remember Captain Chen has a daughter, right? She’s in high school. Imagine if your daughter was assaulted by a hooligan, accidentally injured him, and ended up in prison, while the hooligan even received compensation. Do you think that’s fair?”

Captain Chen’s eyes darkened as he stared at Qin Yun’s face, pondering for a long time, ”If I don’t release her, what will you do?”

”I will naturally hire the best lawyer, but with video evidence, it will most likely be ruled... legitimate self-defense! After all, in such a situation, even killing him would be excusable!”

”You...”

Captain Chen knew the influence of Qin Yun and the Qin Family, and what Qin Yun said this time was also reasonable. He then sighed.

”Let her explain what happened, then take her away!”

”Alright!”

A moment later, after Meng Ruxin left the police station, she lightly stepped on the ground outside, and an excited expression immediately appeared on her face.

”Oh yeah, I wasn’t locked up by the cops, this is great! Xiao Shang is really capable, thank you! You must be the reinforcement Xiao Shang sent, right?”

Qin Yun looked at the petite girl in front of him. Meng Ruxin was indeed not tall and had a baby face, making it possible for her to be mistaken for a middle school student.

Moreover, her figure was not as imposing as the previous ones; she looked more like an undeveloped student. Just then, the System’s voice immediately rang out.

[Ding, detected the presence of a Female Protagonist nearby. The urban mad dragon plot has been received, no need to receive the plot again.]

”System, start checking Meng Ruxin’s information.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Meng Ruxin’s panel immediately appeared before Qin Yun.

Name: Meng Ruxin

Age: 24 years old

Identity: The lost youngest daughter of the Imperial Capital Meng Family, Disciple of Great Master Xuan Zhen

Cultivation Technique: Heavenly Demonic Zither Sound, Phoenix Cry Phoenix Sound, Ethereal Flute Illusionary Art

Cultivation: Peak Dark Energy

Synopsis: Proficient in music, an anime-loving otaku girl with a sharp tongue, often unforgiving when in the right. She deeply yearns to have a grand cosplay performance with her Senior Sisters and Junior Sisters.

Plot: Entered the Sect at fifteen, with excellent musical talent, skilled in the guqin and flute, and outstanding sound cultivation talent. After Lin Fan descended the mountain, to gain her favor, Lin Fan initiated anime discussions with her. Later, during a drunken incident, Lin Fan forcibly took her, eventually making her one of Lin Fan’s concubines...

After seeing her plot, Qin Yun didn’t seem to find the part where she was recognized by the Meng Family. It seemed this triggered a hidden plot.

”Hello, Young Miss Meng Ruxin, my name is Qin Yun. I was originally going to pick you up at the airport, but then I heard you were arrested, so I had to come bail you out.”

”Qin Yun?”

Meng Ruxin frowned. She had heard that name before. Didn’t Xiao Shang often badmouth her brother? Why was this meeting different from what she imagined?

”Alright, get in the car. Xiao Shang is quite anxious waiting for you at home!”

”Ah? Oh, oh, okay.”

Watching Meng Ruxin get into the car with her short legs, Qin Yun finally sighed. How many Female Protagonists had there been? Finally, he got a legal loli; it was exhilarating.

Speaking of which, he already had four of Lin Fan’s harem members by his side. If the Senior Sister also came over, then Lin Fan’s five most important harem members would all be at his house! Just thinking about it was exciting; before he even appeared, his home was almost stolen.

Afterward, Qin Yun directly sent a message to Qin Yushang via text message, then threw his phone aside and focused on driving.

Meng Ruxin glanced at Qin Yun, wanting to express her gratitude, but didn’t know how to say it. Looking at Qin Yun’s handsome face with starry brows and sword-like eyes, she subconsciously started fantasizing in her mind.

Although Xiao Shang said her brother wasn’t proper and was a typical Dandy Young Master, putting everything else aside, his looks were very striking. If he were dressed as an ancient male Protagonist, with a sword on his back, he could definitely dominate at a comic convention.

If he performed a sword dance and she provided the music, it would definitely resonate throughout the entire cosplay community.

”Th-that... Mr. Qin, Qin Yun.”

”Hmm, what is it?”

”Nothing, it’s just... are you interested in... anime or games, or things like that?”

Qin Yun’s mouth curved into a smile; the topic had arrived.

”I love them! I’ve watched them since I was little, Dragon Ball, Conan, Doraemon, I’ve seen them all. Which one do you want to ask about?”
