Primordial Monster Girl Tamer

Two days passed in this shithole and I finally understood where I was. We were being transported inside a massive carriage together, moving from one town to the other. I paid close attention to what was happening and the small talks between the men meant to guard us.

I was also preparing to make my move, a move that would involve a lot of people that did not even know they were about to get used for the sake of my freedom.

I managed to learn the character of a few guards. I knew that only two had to come check on us, and they were meant to switch, but the other hated the pungent smell inside here. So he traded drinks with the first man to have him do all the checks.

I also learned that they had two checks during the day, and about three at night, with the second and third one being the time when the man was most drunk. He came in yelling and shouting the last two times. He was disoriented and rash.

I also knew that he had a key, one that could free me. But there was no way for me to simply grab the key and run away because I was bound, so I needed more, and that was where my few unwilling idiots came in.

I noticed that a few of these slaves dreamed of freedom, some close to me. They spoke of it in low mumbles, and their eyes burned with the passion of being free. I know they can’t get free, because if they could, they would have already gotten free. But I am going to feed into their delusions.

There was also a guy at the very front whom I had discovered was a snitch. The guards always bent down to tie his shoe when he walked in, and that snitch whispered what was happening into the ear of the guard. He was also a very needed factor.

I had everything planned out already, down to the letter, and even how I would escape from this place. The next issue was now the monster girl.

I look over to her, and her head is bowed. Before nightfall, I had to convince her to come with me, and somehow do it without the others hearing my discussion.

I shuffle a bit, the pain of the chain pressing against my skin and bone was immense, but I ignored it. I managed to shift close enough to tap her with my foot. She lifted her head slowly and looked at me, her eyes carried confusion.

”If you want to be free, follow me tonight and I’ll make you free.” I mouthed those words at her but did not utter a sound. It did not matter if she could read lips. If she could, great. If she could not, then her attention would be on me all through, which works too.

A few hours went by and the perfect time came. I looked up and decided to ignite the flame.

”I wish I could be free,” I said, loud enough for those I wanted to hear it. One of the men looked up at me, then looked down a few seconds later.

”Hmph, none of you here have the balls to fight for freedom,” he said and clutched his fist.

”Tch, speak for yourself,” another man spoke, and it was exactly who I expected to speak. The plan was going pretty well at this point.

”Tch, I’d give anything to get free,” the third said, and at this point I knew that my plan was now in an automated mode.

There was silence between them for an extended time before they started to speak again, talking about their plans to get free and their plans to escape and more. A few whispers managed to reach everyone in the carriage, especially the snitch that I wanted to hear.

The snitch had his head down and ears perked. He listened to everything very closely, and I was excited that he did. With all that set, I leaned back and waited for night to come.

Hours trickled by and then the first check came, and all I could do was pray that he was drunk enough on the first check to come and do what I needed him to do. Normally, I would have preferred to have him do it on the second or third, but I knew that the snitch would not allow such juicy information to stay down. I was right.

The moment the guard walked in, he bent down before the snitch, and the snitch passed the information as he always did. I knew he did it when I noticed the twist in the face of the guard. I knew that I would be the first to be released from the wall chains, and then he would walk to the others.

His line of reasoning was simply, free us all and take us out to punish the hell out of us. He expected all of us to be weak since they had not fed us for days. But I was not as weak as the others. Somehow, after I entered this body, I retained a good amount of energy, and that was all that I needed at the moment.

The guard stomped forward in anger and got to me first. He looked down at me and then grabbed me by my hair. He pulled out his key and released the chain that kept me to the carriage walls, which meant I could stand.

In the same rage, he walked over to the other men and began to loose them, and those that resisted, he punched them clean.

While he was busy with this, I suddenly rose to my feet. I walked over behind the drunk guard, who was filled with rage, and then, as he raised his head for a moment, I lunged, throwing my hand over his head and immediately using the chain to grab his neck.

The guard was stunned and immediately tried to make a move, but I used my knee to hit the back of his legs and caused them to buckle, throwing the man down to his knees while I choked him.

I knew that the second guard was nowhere near here, and so no one would hear his screams at all. I pulled back hard as the guard fought and struggled. The more he struggled, the harder I pulled, and by a minute, he lost consciousness. I then proceeded to twist the chain hard and fast until I heard a snap.
