Primordial Monster Girl Tamer

I lay down in the pod and put on the helmet. This was my first time using it, but it was no big deal for someone like me. I’d handle it easily. I felt the helmet settle on my head properly, feeling comfy with my head in it. My hand rubbed the side to find the button. When I clicked it, the helmet acted as a remote to activate the pod as well.

What followed was a soft whirling sound that managed to calm me. I was ready to enter the game.

The game I had gotten was called Tera Online, a game located in the world of Tera, a world where the rich and powerful stepped over the weak and power was something you must claim for yourself. It consisted of magic and swords, but not everyone could use it.

I liked this game because I believed I would be able to dominate with my mind and mind alone, the same way that I had done in real life. It was a test for me, the entire game.

What I did not plan for was that when I turned on the game, rather than transporting me to the beautiful world of the game, everything went dark. It was the kind of darkness that swallowed. I felt myself falling deeper and deeper into it.

I reached for my head in an attempt to pull it off, free myself from the game, only to realize there was nothing on my head. I could not get the gear off. Something had gone wrong, I knew it. I could feel it deep within me. Shit had happened.

Sadly, I was someone who was unable to panic. Like John Stewart from Green Lantern, I did not feel fear or panic easily. My mind tried to find a rational answer and response to what was happening at this moment.

I thought for a few seconds about what could possibly have happened. Why was I unable to go out? But in the next moment, my thoughts were shoved aside when a glowing screen appeared right in front of me.

[Evaluation Completed, Perfect Host Found]

It rang with a feminine voice as well, sweet but robotic. 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

”What’s happening? Is this the game interface? Am I still in the game?”

Seeing the digital interface gave me hope that I was still in the game and probably when the loading ended, I would be fine. But right then, a cold splash hit my face. My eyes shot open, and immediately I was greeted with darkness and a sharp, putrid smell. I wanted to hurl, but my mind forced me to keep composure, so I did.

The water that had hit my face was very cold, and I felt it for real. Even on the occasion when technology advanced greatly, there was no way that I felt it that well. It was far too impossible.

My mind did not run on the probabilities of it being a hallucination, or something was wrong, or it was a prank. I treated this as my current presented situation, and I needed to learn where I was and adapt extremely fast.

Before I could focus my mind into anything else, that system screen activated again.

[Congratulations Host, you have acquired the Monster Girl Tamer System]

I stared at the name with utter disbelief. It had to be some joke, right? What sort of name was this? It had nothing to do with the game, so it further reinforced my stance that I was nowhere near my home at all.

[Quest Update, Tame your first Monster Girl and Escape the slave camp]

[Rewards: Full system activation]

Slave camp?

When I saw the next screen, I immediately understood that this was serious. I moved my hands and realized that I was indeed bound in chains.

It was official. Somehow, I had fallen into this world. In short terms, transmigrated into another world, one that allowed slavery, and I was a slave.

I also somehow got some system that seemed to want to make me tame monster girls. This also helped me understand that I was in some sort of magical world.

Eager to understand my situation further, I looked around and saw more and more people bound hand and leg with dirty, rotting clothes. The sight was completely appalling. I ignored it, though. There was no point in me suddenly starting to feel sad and sorry for what was happening here. After all, I was one of the victims as well.

While I was busy scanning around for more information, I saw someone else, and this person was not human. She was a pretty lady. Even with the dirt and filth that covered her entire body, I was able to tell. She had golden eyes that had been dulled by her pain. Her ears were sharp and long. On her head were two curved horns and pretty silver hair.

I had never seen someone so beautiful and attractive. This was me, someone that had dined with the richest and prettiest women of the world, and yet he had found all of them lackluster and the same shade of the same thing. He really had no interest in her.

[Target Found, Host currently has no skills to use, Host must tame with his own abilities]

”No skills? That means I could get some later. Also, I have to tame her myself.
