Reincarnated as a Mosquito, the School Beauty I Sucked to Tears is a Reborn Empress

The underground chamber.

Chu Sheng’s eyes were tightly shut as he floated in mid-air.

His body had grown even larger, now exceeding thirty centimeters in length, his streamlined form exuding a sense of power.

His carapace had taken on a deep, dark gold hue, like Divine Gold tempered a thousand times over. Its texture was far superior to his previous pale gold shell.

His four pairs of broad, membranous wings were nearly transparent, yet their edges pulsed with a heart-stopping, pale halo. Their mere vibration caused the surrounding light to warp slightly.

Dozens of seconds later.

Chu Sheng finally awoke completely from his deep slumber.

He slowly opened his eyes. Within the countless lenses of his compound eyes, it was as if a sky full of starlight ignited. An aura, far more restrained yet also more terrifying than his last evolution, flashed and then vanished.

[Ding, the seventh comprehensive evolution is complete.]

Chu Sheng looked down, lightly clenching his six legs, feeling the surging power within him—enough to tear his former self to shreds.

’Awesome!’

”System, open my status panel.”

[Updating panel...]

[Host: Chu Sheng]

[Race: Silent Extinction Divine Mosquito]

[Lifespan: 500 years]

[Bloodline: King-level (Five Stars)]

[Qi Blood: 110,900 (Fifth-Grade Early Stage)]

[Mental Power: 80,080 (Fourth-Grade Late Stage)]

[Evolution Points: 8,020]

’Let’s see what we’ve got here!’

Chu Sheng’s consciousness focused on the brand-new, updated system panel.

’Silent Extinction Divine Mosquito?’

’My Race changed again?’

’From Nether Emperor Mosquito to a Divine Mosquito?’

’Haha, now I’m truly a Divine Mosquito!’

’My Bloodline went from King-level One Star to King-level Five Stars. Pfft, I’m a Divine Mosquito now. Is Bloodline even important anymore?’

’My Qi Blood and Mental Power both went up by ten thousand?! That’s decent, I guess.’

’But my Lifespan!’

’It shot up to five hundred years all at once.’

’What kind of being is a mosquito that can live for five hundred years?’

’Huh? Answer me!’

Chu Sheng felt incredibly pleased. ’Who would ever complain about having a long Lifespan?’

’If I keep evolving like this, I might even become immortal?!’

However, things like Race, Bloodline, and Lifespan weren’t the most important. What truly mattered were his Skills!

’First, let’s see what new Skills I’ve got.’

’Logically, this comprehensive evolution also included three specific minor evolutions, so I should have at least three new Skills, right?’

’Come on, show me what you’ve got!’

[Ding! Current leveled Skills are as follows:]

Nether Flame Insect Nest lv11, Nether Vision lv8, God-devouring Needle lv11, Soul-Bursting Flame Feather lv7, Spirit Returning and Spirit-Extinguishing Technique lv5, Nether Flame Battle Armor lv6, Monarch’s Suppression lv6, Ten Thousand Insects Substitute lv6.

[Current No Level Skills are as follows:]

Primitive Form, Lifebound Space, Amaterasu’s Eye, Boundless Wings, Celestial Thunder Illusion, Nine Tribulations Thunder Prison, Realm-Breaking Claw, Earth Prison Technique, Wood Dragon Technique, Water Mirror Gate, Five Elements Body.

’Oh? All my leveled Superpowers automatically went up a level this time?’

’Nice, that saved me a ton of Evolution Points.’

’Wait a minute!’

’My most core Skill, the Soul-devouring Demon Spike, actually changed?’

’It turned into the God-devouring Needle?’

God-devouring Needle: Your proboscis can now drain all things, even gods. The original Soul-devouring Nether Flame has now become the Divine Path Purifying Flame. Please explore its specific abilities on your own.

’Drain all things?’

’That sounds pretty badass. It seems this is the core change from this evolution! I’ll have to study it carefully later!’

Chu Sheng thought for a moment, then turned his attention to the four new Skills that had appeared.

That’s right, there were four:

[Earth Prison Technique], [Wood Dragon Technique], [Water Mirror Gate], and finally, [Five Elements Body].

This time, the specific minor evolutions for the three Realms seemed to have all affected his body, each evolving a powerful Skill of the corresponding attribute.

’But these three names don’t sound very impressive or domineering. They’re not garbage, are they?’

’Let’s see what they do!’

[Earth Prison Technique]: You can summon a sturdy prison of earth. Anyone trapped inside will have their Qi Blood and Mental Power continuously drained, which can then be used to replenish your own. The prison’s sturdiness and draining ability depend on your Earth Realm level.

’Damn, this does seem a little lame.’

’It’s a bit like Gu Yuexi’s Divine Thought Cage? So it’s a control-type Skill?’

’If that’s the case, then it’s not too bad. I really don’t have many control Skills.’

’And the description later on... the ability to drain Mental Power and Qi Blood is pretty good. I can drain them and heal myself at the same time!’

’Just imagine, if this earth prison were big enough to cover an entire city?’

’Wouldn’t my Mental Power and Qi Blood be endless?’

’All things considered, I’d give it a ’top-tier’ rating at the very least.’

’Next.’

[Wood Dragon Technique]: You can summon a giant dragon of wood. The wood dragon’s strength is determined by your Wood Realm. Additionally, the stronger the surrounding Wood Attribute Spiritual Power, the stronger the wood dragon will become.

’A wood dragon?’

’What the heck is this?’

’Whatever, let’s check the next one first.’

[Water Mirror Gate]: Forms a Water Mirror that can create a doppelgänger identical to the enemy, possessing most of the enemy’s abilities. Duration: 1 hour. The power level of the Water Mirror Illusion is determined by your Water Realm Comprehension. Current power level of the Water Mirror Illusion: Peak of Sixth-Grade.

’Another clone-type skill?’

’But this time, it’s not my clone, but a clone of someone else?’

’Peak of Sixth-Grade strength is pretty decent, it’s like having a helper. And I can use the fact that it’s identical to the enemy to pull some dirty tricks.’

’All in all, I’ll need to field-test the Skills from these specific evolutions to determine their actual effectiveness.’

’I’ll find a chance to test them out one by one later.’

’Now for the last Skill.’

[Five Elements Body]: Your Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth Realms have all reached the Great Success Realm. Your Qi Blood and Mental Power recovery abilities are greatly enhanced.

There’s not much to say about this one. It’s basically a Passive Skill you get as a bonus for collecting all Five Elements Realms.

After finishing his evolution, Chu Sheng tried to contact Gu Yuexi, only to find she hadn’t finished her seclusion yet.

Coincidentally, he still had a lot of resources left over from the Mu Family. With nothing better to do, Chu Sheng started absorbing them again.

After the Soul-devouring Demon Spike evolved into the God-devouring Needle, one improvement stood out above all others!

And that was...

Compared to before, the amount of Qi Blood or Mental Power he could absorb had increased dramatically!

For example, with a single drop of Seventh-Grade Demon Beast Essence Blood,

previously, the Soul-devouring Demon Spike could only absorb around 200 Qi Blood Value, but now, he could absorb around six hundred.

A full threefold increase!

As expected, the biggest improvement from the seventh comprehensive evolution was probably the evolution of the Soul-devouring Demon Spike into the God-devouring Needle!

...

Two days later, Chu Sheng had finally absorbed pretty much everything he could in his Lifebound Space.

His Qi Blood Value and Mental Power had now reached:

[Qi Blood: 120,900 (Fifth-Grade Early Stage)]

[Mental Power: 90,980 (Fourth-Grade Late Stage)]

[Evolution Points: 9,020]

At this moment, Gu Yuexi also finally ended her seclusion.

Her improvement was also significant, especially in terms of Mental Power.

Gu Yuexi’s Qi Blood Realm reached the Fourth-Grade Middle Stage, while her Mental Power had actually broken through two consecutive realms, reaching the Peak of Fourth-Grade!

The human and the beast had finally both completed their seclusion.

And this also meant that their trip to Hong Kong Island was officially over.
