Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 1016: Chapter 808: Making the Rankings

Star Card Master Association.

On the first day of each month, when the Star Card Master Association releases the Power Rankings.

”Li Hang from the Blood Lion Association has entered the top twenty of the Shining Star List!”

”It’s said that Li Hang led a team to annihilate a Radiant Moon Level Star Beast Territory in the Grey Realm.”

”That’s impressive!”

”Of course, they killed two Radiant Moon Star Beasts and over a dozen Shining Star Level Star Beasts.”

...

”Another person has entered the Shining Star List from the Genius Club, Ruan Xing, ranked 92.”

”After all, the Star Alliance was established by outstanding talents from academia, with experts emerging one after another!”

”Keep your voice down... Look at the Star Alliance badges on those people over there; they’re from the Genius Club.”

...

Three years have passed, and as of today, the Power Ranking has become one of the most talked-about topics during meals and tea breaks.

After all, most people are quite concerned about the top experts at various levels in the country.

And every month, at noon on the first day, is the update time for the Power Ranking.

Many people have developed the habit of checking the firsthand list information at this time.

Nowadays, most Star Card Masters are already aware of who is on each list.

Relatively speaking, there is seldom any change on the Burning Sun List, often going three or four months without a shift.

So, although the Burning Sun Level is far from most people’s reach, people have become quite familiar with each expert on the list.

While on the Radiant Moon List, there are usually three to four additions or subtractions each month, along with some variations in rankings.

As for the Shining Star List... the changes are much greater!

Each month, there are generally about ten new names on the Shining Star List, with rankings often involving shifts of twenty to thirty places.

Additionally, the Shining Star Level is the closest in realm to the majority of cultivators in the upper three levels.

This leads to the Shining Star List garnering the most attention and sparking the most discussions whenever the Power Rankings are released.

Moreover, with the development of the Star Card Master Association, the initial teams and war preparers have evolved into individual ”Star Alliances” similar to guilds.

The ”Genius Club” is one of the well-known Star Alliances, with all its members being gifted graduates from major universities, and the minimum requirement to join is the Gold Level.

At this moment in the association, a fat man, after reading the front part of the Shining Star List, started browsing through the latter parts.

”Hey, it seems there’s a change on the Burning Sun List too?” The fat man was quite surprised.

The fat man’s words immediately caught the attention of several people nearby.

”Oh? On the Burning Sun List, is it a ranking shift?”

”No, Guan Guijin, who was at the 100th spot, is completely gone. Surely someone new has made it onto the list. Let me see... not in the last ten positions, nor the last twenty...”

Everyone in the association quickly turned to the latter part of the Burning Sun List to check.

”Look at the 72nd place!”

Someone was the first to notice the change and loudly reminded.

[Seventy-second: Sky Patrol Department, Su Yuan, Chongyang Realm]

”It’s actually the Chongyang Realm!”

”And he entered the list at 72nd place?”

”Another one from the Sky Patrol Department!”

”...”

Everyone who looked at the 72nd spot was immensely surprised.

Previously, several individuals of the Burning Sun Level had made the list, but they barely squeezed onto it, all in the last twenty positions or so.

Yet this Su Yuan not only entered the list at 72nd place but is also just in the Chongyang Realm!

He can be said to be the highest-ranked among the few Chongyang Realm experts currently on the list.

In the area where some members of the Genius Club were, a Waning Moon Stage young man with sword-like eyebrows and starry eyes was also scanning the list, and suddenly his pupils contracted.

”Su Yuan...!”

Upon seeing this name, the young Waning Moon man was instantly in a daze.

The blond Full Moon Level young man beside him asked with a smile, ”What’s the matter, Chenwei? Do you know this newly-ranked Senior Su?”

Senior Su...

Wen Chenwei instantly regained his composure upon hearing the other’s words.

Yes, the Burning Sun List mainly consists of seniors hundreds of years old, unlikely to be the person he was thinking of.

”During my student days, I happened to know someone with the same name,” Wen Chenwei said.

”Is that so? Well, that’s quite the coincidence.” The blond young man laughed, then continued, ”But since you’ve graduated for so many years, if you still remember the name, he must have been an extraordinary talent, right?”

Wen Chenwei’s expression grew solemn as he nodded, ”During the Demon Academy’s Holy Spring competition, he defeated me.”

Wen Chenwei still vividly remembers that battle.

That was the first person who made him realize there are always stronger people out there, someone he admired greatly!

He’s unsure what level the other person has reached now.

A rather young Shining Star Level youth suddenly spoke, ”I remember now! Senior Wen, are you talking about Senior Su Yuan from Demon Capital Academy?”

”Yes, it’s him,” Wen Chenwei nodded.

The blond young man asked, ”Xiao Jie, you know him too?”

Xiao Jie excitedly said, ”Of course, Senior Su Yuan from Demon Capital Academy was a year ahead of us.

Not only did he lead Demon Capital Academy to first place in the competition for Demon City Holy Spring;

but later, during the exchange with Qiguang Academy, he even repelled all the Qiguang students from Bauhinia Academy who came for the exchange!

Back in the day, Senior Su Yuan was famous in all the universities nationwide. For two or three years, many high school students chose Demon Capital Academy because of him!”

”I seem to have heard something about the Qiguang students’ exchange back then...”

The blond young man rubbed his chin and then looked at Wen Chenwei.

”Chenwei, try to see if you can recruit such a talented master into our Genius Club. The terms are negotiable!

As long as he joins, whether he’s Shining Star or Radiant Moon now, we can offer him the top tier of benefits!”

Wen Chenwei shook his head, ”He graduated early, and we didn’t know his whereabouts. But now it seems he might have joined the Sky Patrol Department.”

”Sky Patrol Department? Then there’s no way!”

The blond young man shook his head, sighed, and looked back at the ”Burning Sun Power Ranking” on the table.

”Speaking of which, this Senior Su Yuan is also from the Sky Patrol Department. Huh, what a coincidence.”

Originally, Wen Chenwei thought it was just a case of the same name, but hearing the blond say it so pointedly, his heart skipped a beat.

Suddenly, someone exclaimed, ”Quick, look at the personal details on the ranking website. This Senior Su from the Sky Patrol Department is incredibly powerful!”

Everyone immediately opened Su Yuan’s profile at 72nd place on the Burning Sun List from the association’s official website.

Experts from the Sky Patrol Department have their information classified; besides the name, there was no more information about Su Yuan...

Only a series of records, that is, Su Yuan’s battle achievements!

[Sky Patrol Department Su Yuan, killed over ten in the Burning Sun, including two Three Suns Realm, initially ranked 72nd.]

”Hiss...” A series of gasps echoed through the room.

”He actually killed multiple Burning Sun level individuals... and two Three Suns Realm experts!”

”Isn’t he only in the Chongyang Realm?”

”This is just too incredible!”

”...”

Such amazing feats kept the discussion about ”Su Yuan” continuous in the association, even impressing the blond young man and others from the Genius Club.

Wen Chenwei’s breath quickened slightly as he widened his eyes and stared at the name on the table, a strong intuition arising in his mind...

This person is that Su Yuan!
