Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 964: Chapter 758: The Situation (2)

Even though Su Yuan looks very young, strength is the true measure, and moreover, the Burning Sun level cannot simply determine actual age based on appearance.

After this matter, Xu Hengjiang pondered, ”Now, only the Huangqi Gang is left, right?”

”Exactly.” Su Yuan smiled, ”I estimate that the Huangqi Gang will be coming soon.”

”Reporting!” Almost as soon as those words were spoken, Hu Bo quickly entered from outside.

”Hu Bo, what’s the matter?”

”Alliance Leader, Master Su.” Hu Bo saluted, then said, ”Boss Luo of the Huangqi Gang has come personally!”

Xu Hengjiang grinned: ”Ha, speak of the devil!”

Su Yuan laughed: ”If it were someone else, they couldn’t sit calmly at home either.”

After a while, Jing Chenghui personally led a slightly thin middle-aged man inside; it was the leader of the Huangqi Gang—Luo Jun.

”Alliance Leader Xu,” Luo Jun greeted with cupped hands, his eyes then fell upon Su Yuan beside him, brightening, ”Is this the master who turned the tide and killed Del Mao?”

In the north, the Fierce Battle Gang and Sea King Gang suddenly teamed up, and within one night, the Shuiyun Alliance, Rock Dragon Gang, and Storm Alliance were all attacked. This news truly startled Luo Jun, who was the furthest away.

But following that came news about the survival of the Storm Alliance; not only survived, but they counter-killed Fierce Battle Gang’s Del Mao!

Huangqi Gang’s informants in Storm City had already sent the news back, it seemed that the Storm Alliance suddenly gained a Burning Sun expert.

Luo Jun was already alarmed by the northern gangs’ united actions, and upon hearing this news, immediately rushed to the Storm Alliance overnight.

Su Yuan nodded slightly: ”It’s me.”

Xu Hengjiang introduced, ”This is Master Su Yuan, not only does he have formidable strength, but he also practices alchemy!

Master Su, this is Luo Jun, the leader of the Huangqi Gang, a master of rock and soil magic.”

Luo Jun examined Su Yuan but found he couldn’t discern Su Yuan’s powers at all, after thinking briefly, he smiled and praised: ”Alliance Leader Xu, to rope in such a master like Su, the Storm Alliance will surely flourish!”

Xu Hengjiang clearly understood Luo Jun’s probing intention, laughed heartily: ”Master Su is not one that our small Storm Alliance temple can invite. Master Su has his own faction named Qingming.”

”Qingming?”

Su Yuan smiled and said, ”It’s just a small organization that just came from outside to the Western Desert seeking development, only a handful of barely capable members under me.”

Xu Hengjiang silently clicked his tongue, Master Su, your so-called ”barely capable” members?

However, upon hearing that Su Yuan was not part of the Storm Alliance, Luo Jun subtly breathed a sigh of relief, chuckling: ”Pleasure to meet you, I didn’t expect such youth!”

Huangqi is adjacent to the Storm Alliance. If the Storm Alliance suddenly grows strong, it would put substantial pressure on Huangqi.

If it were an external organization, Luo Jun might have initially been resistant, but the current situation had changed.

With Shuiyun Alliance and Rock Dragon Gang both wiped out, having a powerful ally now would indeed be beneficial!

But the problem now lies in the north with the Chongyang experts Yu Feng and Yang Qian.

After some introductions and pleasantries, Xu Hengjiang asked, ”I wonder what brings Boss Luo here overnight?”

Luo Jun forced a smile: ”What else could it be besides the Fierce Battle Gang and Sea King Gang?

The two northern gangs joined forces and eliminated the Shuiyun and Rock Dragon gangs; how can I just sit idly?”

Xu Hengjiang got straight to the point: ”So Boss Luo, what are your plans?”

Luo Jun replied solemnly: ”Fierce Battle and Sea King have united to swallow up Rock Dragon and Shuiyun, we can only join forces to confront them.”

”Exactly,” Xu Hengjiang nodded in agreement, then looked at Su Yuan, ”Master Su, if you’re willing, how about we band together against the two northern gangs?”

Luo Jun also, somewhat nervously, looked at Su Yuan. Regardless of anything else, to have killed Fierce Battle’s Del Mao, he must be a true expert.

Whether or not he joins is crucial.

Even though Su Yuan killed Del Mao, the Fierce Battle Gang surely won’t let Su Yuan off.

But Su Yuan has no roots here, he could just leave if he wanted to.

However, Su Yuan didn’t deliberate much, smiling: ”Of course, I’d be delighted.”

”Great!”

Seeing Su Yuan agree, Xu Hengjiang immediately gained more confidence.

Luo Jun was also pleased in his heart, but when he thought of the current situation, his expression became quite grave.

”However... Master Su, Boss Xu, with the two Chongyang experts from Fierce Battle and Sea King Gang, if they truly advance, we’ll still find it hard to defend...”

At this, Xu Hengjiang’s expression also turned serious.

Su Yuan, however, said, ”No need to worry excessively, the situation isn’t as urgent as imagined, in the short term, Sea King Gang and Fierce Battle Gang shouldn’t attack.”

Xu Hengjiang asked, ”What do you mean, Master Su?”

Su Yuan explained, ”Firstly, the two gangs just wiped out Shuiyun Alliance and Rock Dragon Gang, it takes time to digest both gangs’ resources.

Second, we’ve already become wary, under such circumstances, encircling Burning Sun level isn’t that simple.

If Boss Xu and Sect Leader Huang manage to escape, for the two northern gangs, a hostile Burning Sun level is a tremendous threat.

Third, now fighting recklessly only continues to deplete coastal overall strength, possibly drawing central region factions into the fray.”

Upon hearing Su Yuan’s analysis, Xu Hengjiang and Luo Jun both relaxed slightly, nodding silently.

”Additionally, Sea King and Fierce Battle Gang’s alliance isn’t necessarily solid, especially since Del Mao’s demise...”

Originally, Fierce Battle Gang boasted one Chongyang and two Early Sun experts, reigning over the coast.

But then Fierce Battle’s Del Mao was unexpectedly killed by Su Yuan.

Meanwhile, the Sea King Gang, with Boss Yang Qian reaching Chongyang level.

The strengths of the two gangs have quickly drawn infinitely close...

Should Yang Qian harbor any thoughts, the gang relations might not be too harmonious.

Plus, considering the southern Huangqi Gang, Storm Alliance... For Sea King’s Yang Qian, a three-way stalemate or even continuing to deplete Fierce Battle Gang’s power would be optimal.

Especially now, with Del Mao dead by Storm Alliance’s hands, there’s a grudge on both sides!

Xu Hengjiang asked, ”So Master Su, what should we do now?”

Su Yuan casually said, ”Enhance vigilance and strength, continue regular development.”

Xu Hengjiang and Luo Jun pondered, finding indeed no better plan.

The most crucial task now is forming alliances; since they’re allied, all that remains is to wait for opportunities.

Given Fierce Battle and Sea King’s inactivity, it’s impossible to directly march north with their group, right?

Su Yuan looked at the two, fostering his own thoughts internally.

The north has two Chongyang experts, heading over now would yield no benefit.

Now, he just needs to wait... until there are more Burning Sun battle powers alongside him!
