Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 311: Chapter 253: The Power of Evil Fire_2

The long-haired youth certainly wouldn’t retreat just like that. The previous move was just a probe. He had not yet exerted his full strength.

Now, having felt the intensity of the Divine Fire, the long-haired youth had made up his mind. With a brief moment of thought, he prepared to charge forward.

At this moment, black flames flickered on the Black Fox’s body, and suddenly, black flames erupted from the ground within a hundred-meter radius.

The long-haired youth was startled and hastily retreated once again.

However, these flames seemed to lack any lethality, allowing the long-haired youth to leave the burning area unharmed.

Just as the long-haired youth was puzzled, four pitch-black figures suddenly rose from the burning flames, quickly transforming into four Star Beasts of different shapes that emanated an astonishing aura.

They were all Gold Limit Master Star Beasts!

“Are these Ash Star Beasts? No…” the long-haired youth’s eyes became much more serious. “They should be Black Fire Star Beasts!”

Ash Star Beasts seemed to be casually condensed in the Earth Cave, barely retaining their strength and Star Power from their lifetimes. Apart from the “Self-Repair” trait, they were inferior to their former selves, with slightly weaker combat power.

In contrast, these four Black Fire Star Beasts seemed to be specially hatched by the Undead Divine Fire. They not only retained their lifetime strength but also received enhancements from the Undead Divine Fire. The energy within them was far stronger than that of the previous Ash Star Beasts!

At this moment, once the four Black Fire Star Beasts appeared, they immediately unleashed their Star Power and charged towards the long-haired youth.

Having easily wiped out numerous Ash Star Beasts earlier and absorbed a large amount of heat to replenish his Star Power, the long-haired youth had hardly expended any energy. Facing the four newly emerged Black Fire Star Beasts, he swung both fists without hesitation.

Black Fire and Red Flame intertwined in an instant, and the sounds of fierce battle erupted once again.

However, after merely a brief exchange, the long-haired youth’s expression shifted slightly.

“Just like that Divine Fire, it’s hard to absorb!”

As expected of beings summoned specifically by the Divine Fire, these four Black Fire Star Beasts not only had greater strength but also possessed Black Fire similar to the Divine Fire.

Furthermore, unlike the previous Star Beasts, who mostly fought physically, these four Star Beasts continuously unleashed various skills.

The long-haired youth was only at the Gold High Stage. Facing the encirclement of the four Black Fire Star Beasts, he found himself struggling to cope.

“It seems he’s going to need a new move. Otherwise, at this rate, it won’t be long before he falls.” Su Yuan observed the battlefield and knew that the long-haired youth had to use a skill capable of turning the tide.

Indeed, the long-haired youth soon took action.

“A bunch of star beasts that died in the flames, do you really think you can defeat me? Burn everything, Bai’erluo’s Hand!”

With a low growl, the power of the Soul Card within the long-haired youth surged even more intensely.

The red patterns on his body suddenly flared up, his form swelled, and his hands turned as scorching red as molten lava.

In just a few moments, the long-haired youth’s aura changed dramatically, like a humanoid Flame Demon.

However, the four Black Fire Star Beasts disregarded this transformation and launched another attack.

Star Burst Beam, Tear the Earth, Gentle Wind Frenzy Kill, Great Sun Explosion… all kinds of powerful skills were aimed at the transformed long-haired youth.

But the long-haired youth paid no heed. He punched with his lava-like fists, shattering all incoming attacks.

There was no strategy or technique involved, just a simple clash of energy!

“Boom, boom, boom, boom!…”

The roar of explosions was constant. Using his highly potent fists, the long-haired youth smashed through all attacks with just a few punches!

Then, with a flicker of movement, the long-haired youth charged towards a tiger-shaped Black Fire Star Beast standing before the Black Fox and grabbed its head.

“Silent Cold!”

The fire-based Black Fire Star Beast tried to break free, but its internal heat was rapidly drained by the long-haired youth’s lava-like right hand. In an instant, its body turned cold and stiff, unable to move.

Clearly, against the long-haired youth at full power, even the Black Fire Star Beasts summoned by the Black Fox seemed unable to withstand the onslaught. The beast’s body was suddenly covered in numerous cracks, and then, like ice, it shattered into fine particles of scattered energy in midair…

“Is that all?”

After dispatching the Black Fire Star Beast before him, the long-haired youth laughed arrogantly.

His power was simply too strong. In this place, no one could withstand his heat manipulation!

The long-haired youth took a step forward, heading straight for the Black Fox.

As long as he dealt with the Divine Fire, the Black Fire Star Beasts summoned by it would likely dissipate!

The remaining three Black Fire Star Beasts, however, charged at the long-haired youth without hesitation, ignoring the tiger-shaped beast’s frozen demise.

“What’s the point?”

The long-haired youth grinned, halted, and lava-like fire coursed through his arms as he unleashed dozens of punches in an instant.

“Wolf Pack!”

The howls of the wolf pack echoed continuously. Countless wolf-shaped fist bursts formed from Red Flames crashed into the three blocking beasts, tossing them and smashing them into a vast mass of Black Fire.

Seeing the Black Fire attempting to coalesce again, the long-haired youth spread his fingers, and a peculiar wave enveloped the scattered Black Fire, pulling it entirely toward him.

With the large amount of heat replenishing him, the long-haired youth’s body had already turned into lava. Instead of weakening due to the continuous outbursts, his aura intensified further!

Heat energy was abundant!

Gazing at the remaining Black Fox ahead, the long-haired youth’s mouth curled into a grin as he charged forward.

“You better lie down for me too!”

The long-haired youth’s right fist, as if lava surged through it, glowed intensely as he punched toward the Black Fox!

But just as the long-haired youth was about to reach the Black Fox, he suddenly shuddered, halting in shock as he looked down at his body.

He saw among the red flames around him, numerous pitch-black flames were now growing wildly!

These black flames were incredibly domineering. No matter how the long-haired youth tried to resist, it was useless. In just a few moments, they covered his entire body!

As the long-haired youth struggled and looked angrily towards the quietly standing Black Fox, he finally understood the situation.

“You are so cunning!”

The Black Fox watched him silently, its gaze cold and indifferent.

Since you like absorbing, why not absorb to your heart’s content!

…

“It seems to end here.” From a distance, Su Yuan looked at the battlefield and muttered to himself.

As an observer, he could see everything clearly through the All-Knowing World.

The four Black Fire Star Beasts were all manifested from the Undead Evil Fire. Though seemingly absorbed and easily refined by the long-haired youth, in reality, the Black Fox had intentionally suppressed the power of the Evil Fire, allowing him to refine most of it.

The remaining minor, barely noticeable portion, however, moved through his body undetected.

Had the long-haired youth taken a moment to carefully investigate, he might have noticed something.

But not to mention that using the Soul Card power in the Gold Stage was somewhat forced, making precise control difficult.

Furthermore, with no opponents that could stop him and the prospect of obtaining Evil Fire, the long-haired youth had already been somewhat blinded by excitement.

A small spark can ignite a great flame.

The Undead Evil Fire bore the word “evil” for a reason, as the long-haired youth soon experienced firsthand.

The black flames, like a corrosive toxin, spread rapidly. For every bit the long-haired youth extinguished with his Star Power, the black flames grew several times more!

“No, no, no… no!!”

As the fierce flames surged unstoppable, the long-haired youth found it increasingly difficult to resist. Before long, his entire body was engulfed by the billowing black flames.

The long-haired youth’s struggles weakened. Soon, he fell silent.

The black evil flames gradually dissipated, leaving behind only a few scattered ashes…

“Deserving of the Evil Fire, truly ‘evil’ indeed…”

Su Yuan gazed at the Black Fox ahead, his expression slightly serious.

In terms of strength, the long-haired youth, wielding Soul Card power, could be considered very strong. He had managed to blast through numerous Gold Level Star Beasts consecutively with hardly any depletion.

But the Undead Evil Fire had turned his heat absorption ability into a trap, leading to his fiery demise…
