Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 310: Chapter 253: The Might of Evil Fire

“In the Earth Cave, a long-haired youth put on a pair of gloves. Fervent red flames surged from his body. The roaring flames on his fists battered several Gold-Level Ash Star Beasts until their skin split and they retreated in defeat.

The fierce blasts of Fire Energy blasted numerous Silver Stage beasts away. Within a radius of tens of meters, Silver Stage beasts couldn’t get close without being injured!

Each time the long-haired youth struck, some heat was permanently drawn from the Ash Star Beasts’ bodies, making self-repair nearly impossible.

As for the half-meter-tall Black Fox standing nearby, it stood still, observing the humans in front of it coldly…

“This energy again, the power wave of a Soul Card…”

Not far away, Su Yuan’s eyes glimmered with silver light as he watched the long-haired youth, who fought alone against the many beasts and was invincible. Su Yuan’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Since the encounter with the white mist at Qiuyun Mountain last time, this was the second time he had met a Lower Third Level master with the power of a Soul Card!

The power of the Soul Card could only be used after the Second Awakening. The Second Awakening at the Shining Star Level was almost a rule.

As for whether there existed individuals in the Lower Third Level capable of using Soul Card powers…

Su Yuan speculated that there might be, perhaps with some temporary method to borrow the power of the Soul Card.

But this long-haired youth gave Su Yuan a similar feeling to that black-haired girl. It wasn’t just temporary borrowing; it was as if the gate to the power of the Soul Card had been forcibly opened!

The difference was that the black-haired girl seemed to have lost some sanity, while the long-haired youth remained conscious.

If one had to describe it… it was like the difference between defective products and premium goods!

“One incident could be a coincidence. But if it happens twice… then it is very likely there exists such a group or organization capable of granting Lower Third Level Star Card Masters the power of a Second Awakening Soul Card ahead of time.”

Thinking of this, Su Yuan’s expression grew more solemn.

“This matter is becoming more and more complicated…”

Research on Awakening was a major project into which large countries and powers on Hailan Star poured immense resources annually.

After all, the foundation of national power, aside from Divine Artifacts, was the Star Card Masters of each country.

Though the black-haired girl and the long-haired youth in front were not true Second Awakenings, being able to gain the power of the Soul Card ahead of time would undoubtedly greatly enhance the strength of Lower Third Level Star Card Masters, dominating most of their peers.

This was still the Second Awakening. If someone could gain the power of the Third Awakening ahead of time…

The impact on high-level combat power would be enormous!

Su Yuan suddenly thought, could these people be like lab rats at the bottom tier, laying the groundwork for bigger research?

Thinking this, Su Yuan felt a chill in his heart.

If it was merely to let Lower Third Level masters gain the power of a Second Awakening Soul Card ahead of time, it had a significant personal impact, but not much between countries.

But if they could gain the power reserved for the Third Awakening ahead of time…

Even without the boost in elements, just the surge in Soul Card power would lead to a profound change in combat power for Shining Star and King Level strongmen!

It could definitely disrupt the balance of power among nations!

“As for his ability, it seems like he can absorb Fire Energy… To be precise, he can control heat.”

Under the All-Knowing Vision, the energy changes in people and beasts in the field became crystal clear to Su Yuan.

From the clear shifts in energy waves, Su Yuan quickly saw that the long-haired youth could change the heat of objects he touched.

“Such an ability is quite effective against these Ash Star Beasts. It’s almost like ‘Magic Absorption’ + ‘No Healing’. At this rate, it won’t be long before he blows all these Star Beasts apart.”

Su Yuan’s gaze fell on the Black Fox, coldly overseeing the battle from the side.

“But only if there is no Undead Divine Fire…”

…

As Su Yuan expected, after a while, with a punch to the chest, the last Gold-Level Ash Star Beast’s back exploded with a “boom”. The heat quickly dissipated from its body, rendering it unable to rise again.

The long-haired youth took a few breaths, then looked up at the last Black Fox: “All the lackeys are dead. Now, it’s just you…”

The long-haired youth grinned, red stripes lighting up on his body. Flames surged onto his gloved fists. With a left Azure Dragon and a right White Tiger, accompanied by the roar of tigers and dragons, he stepped forward and charged at the Black Fox!

Blue Skill, Tiger Roar Dragon Roar!

Faced with such an overwhelming attack, the Black Fox remained calm from start to finish. Ink-black flames rolled up and blocked in front of it.

“Boom!”

The tiger and dragon fists slammed into the black fire wall with a thunderous roar, sending out a strong blast of air for hundreds of meters!

Relying on heat manipulation, the long-haired youth continuously absorbed the energy of the black fire through his fists to enhance the power of his tiger and dragon flames.

But the strength of the black fire far exceeded that of the previous ashes. Not only was the absorption speed extremely slow, but it could also regenerate continuously.

The Black Fox raised its right hand and pointed. The black fire wall immediately churned, the flames intensified, quickly wearing away the flames on the youth’s fists and surging towards him.

“What incredible power. It actually exceeded my heat absorption speed!” The youth’s face changed slightly. He immediately withdrew, narrowly avoiding the tidal wave of black fire, “It truly is Divine Fire, far superior to those miscellaneous ashes!”
