Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 233: Chapter 193 Twelve-pointed Snowflake!_2

Su Yuan had seen many Secret Realm creatures wandering in the ancient city during these days.

He couldn’t figure out how these Secret Realm creatures were formed. Some were humanoid, while others were Star Beast types.

Some of them stayed in one place, while others wandered the streets, attacking anyone who intruded into the ancient city.

However, the probability of these Secret Realm creatures dropping summoning cards was very high.

Groups of Secret Realm creatures would generally drop one or two Soldier Cards.

Single creatures also had a high probability of dropping a General Card!

At this moment, Su Yuan glanced in the direction of the noise. Then he activated Elemental Magnetism Pressure, flying towards the commotion.

At a street corner near a lakeside district, several people with black bear tattoos on their arms were being chased by a gigantic mantis about five or six meters long.

The mantis was entirely snow-white, its body formed from high-hardness ice crystal. Its two prey-gripping forearms were like two ice sabers capable of breaking gold and jade, making anyone who saw it shiver with fear.

“There’s a big hall up ahead. Quick, hide inside!” one of the leading men said anxiously.

These Secret Realm creatures lacked consciousness and seemed to have limited perception ability. Generally, hiding in a room could evade their pursuit.

However, this Silver Stage Master Quality Ice Mantis was evidently different. As a high-level creature in the entire Secret Realm, it was not comparable to ordinary savage beasts.

Seeing a group of people hide in a hall, the Ice Mantis slowly scanned the interior from the hall window.

Under the sunlight, the gruesome shadow of the Ice Mantis’s head cast into the hall. The immense pressure made the few people hiding inside hold their breath, not daring to move.

After a while, as it couldn’t find anyone, the Ice Mantis moved its head away. The shadow inside the hall also shifted.

“Huff! Huff…”

A young man in his twenties relaxed a bit, taking a couple of breaths.

At this moment, a middle-aged man with a full beard suddenly lay on the ground and shouted, “Get down!”

Most people reacted instinctively, immediately dropping to the ground upon hearing the bearded man’s urgent cry.

However, the young man who had just relaxed and a thirty-year-old woman reacted a bit slower.

A cold flash appeared, and the wall of the hall was sliced horizontally as if it was tofu.

The things sliced included the two people who didn’t get down in time!

Their bodies fell to the ground, and the upper half of the hall was cut open.

There stood the Ice Mantis at the edge of the hall, its terrifying head looking down at the people below with nowhere to run.

In its huge cold compound eyes, there seemed to be a hint of teasing. The Ice Mantis raised its slender and sharp forearms high but didn’t strike immediately. It seemed to be selecting its priority target.

“This… this?!”

“We’re done for!”

“…”

The cold feeling of suffocation overwhelmed them. Including the bearded man, everyone watched this scene in horror, feeling their legs go weak, not daring to move.

It seemed whoever moved first would die first.

Soon, the Ice Mantis changed its mind. It placed its arms on both sides, about to cross them to kill everyone on the spot!

“Not good!”

The faces of the bearded man and the others changed dramatically. They felt death was imminent, and there was no escaping it.

At this moment, a powerful space fluctuation emerged. A huge black line appeared on the Ice Mantis’s long neck!

The Ice Mantis’s body froze. Then its grotesque ice-ball head slid off its neck and hit the ground with a “thud.”

“Boom…”

The Ice Mantis’s body collapsed. In a short moment, it turned into a large swirl of floating white snow.

“What, what happened!”

“Who killed the Ice Mantis!”

Narrowly escaping death, the bearded man and others looked around in disbelief.

Though the person who acted was not yet seen, someone with sharp eyes noticed a Star Card emitting a bright blue light on the snow left by the Ice Mantis.

“Blue Card! It’s a Blue Card!”

Everyone’s attention was instantly drawn. They all stared at the Blue Card on the ground.

Fear had just dissipated, and greed surged in.

Although everyone knew the Ice Mantis was killed by someone else and the Blue Card belonged to that person,

they wondered if that person did not want it since they hadn’t shown up yet.

Or was it some change in the Secret Realm and not someone’s doing?

People’s intellect tends to drop when driven by desire, always trying to believe what they want to gain the courage and motivation to act on their desires.

Simply put, it was self-hypnosis.

Right now, a blond young man couldn’t contain himself. After hesitating for a moment, he gritted his teeth and rushed towards the Blue Card.

“Xu Kun?!”

The bearded man didn’t expect the blond young man to act so irrationally and shouted in surprise.

But before the blond youth reached the Blue Card, everyone’s vision blurred. A young figure appeared by the Blue Card and picked it up.

…

“This card isn’t bad. It’s a T2-level summoning card.”

After scanning the Ice Mantis’s Element, Su Yuan nodded slightly.
