The Almighty Ring

Jiang Fei experienced mixed feelings after obtaining the Commanding Cauldron. He was happy that the Commanding Cauldron allowed him to increase his Commanding points by 100,000 points, which meant Jiang Fei could now command an army of 1,000,000 soldiers.

However, it was not something Jiang Fei could achieve overnight. That meant that although he obtained one of the Nine Cauldrons of the Ancient Kingdom, his own capabilities did not increase significantly.

Moreover, Jiang Fei was not the only one who could access the Quest Against the Heavens. Anyone who obtained one of the cauldrons could receive the quest. Moreover, the other cauldrons gave a more obvious boost to the owner’s capabilities.

That was especially true of the cauldrons which enhanced the five basic Attributes. Once obtained, one would have 100,000 increased Attribute points. Regardless of whether it was Strength or Agility, the increase of 100,000 points would make any player incredibly powerful. That enhancement meant Jiang Fei’s invincible state in the game was over. Other players who had other cauldrons would be able to threaten Jiang Fei.

With the activation of the Quest Against the Heavens, Jiang Fei’s status as the most powerful player in the game finally ended. The time of the Nine Cauldrons had officially arrived. Although the Nine Cauldrons of the Ancient Kingdom had only just appeared, and Jiang Fei was the first to find one of them, Jiang Fei could not guarantee that he would obtain the other eight cauldrons before everyone else.

“Haih! That’s good too! It’s only fun if there’s a challenge!” Jiang Fei shook his head. Just as he said, due to the huge differences in capabilities, Jiang Fei felt as if he was playing a single-player game. Other players were all unable to challenge him at the same level. Now that the Nine Cauldrons of the Ancient Kingdom were introduced, the other players finally stood a chance against Jiang Fei. It was not a bad thing.

Although the nine cauldrons could sense each others’ presence, they would need to be close enough to one another for that to happen. Therefore, Jiang Fei did not have any idea where the other cauldrons could be located at yet. All he knew was that his master, Ou Yezi, might have one of the cauldrons. However, he did not know where his Class Instructor was located at all. Jiang Fei guessed that he would only be able to see him when he increased his Class Level next time.

Although Jiang Fei received the Quest Against the Heavens, he was clueless as to how to approach it at the moment. He could only shift his attention to the battle between the Light Faction and the Dark Faction which would happen very soon.

With the remaining time, Jiang Fei accompanied Isabella and Sylphy around. He also checked on the progress of his Demon Dragon Fortress’ construction. The only thing he could do now was wait for the information release in two days’ time.

The next morning, Jiang Fei logged out from the game. After having breakfast with his parents, Jiang Fei received a call from Han Tianyu.

“Brother Yu, what’s the deal? Has the Vatican prepared the materials?” Jiang Fei thought Celine Trish had fully prepared the uranium materials.

“No. It’s a huge amount of uranium material. How could they possibly gather all of it so soon? These are all extremely dangerous to carry around!” Han Tianyu laughed. After all, the current state of technology on earth was not like what Jiang Fei had. They could not directly absorb the radioactive materials in uranium ores. Therefore, a lot of safety precautions would need to be done. As such, a longer time was needed for them to prepare the materials.

“Why else did you call me?” Jiang Fei asked curiously.

“Some people are looking for you!” Han Tianyu said awkwardly.

“Who?” Jiang Fei asked.

“The two sisters from Aquamoon Heavenly Palace,” Han Tianyu said helplessly.

“Alright! Ask them to wait for me there. I am coming over right now!” Jiang Fei nodded. The two sisters had not come directly to his house, which meant they knew that his parents were hostile against Metahumans ever since their kidnapping incident.

After bidding farewell to his parents, Jiang Fei went to the 108th floor which was where Han Tianyu’s office was located.

“Yo! What a crowd!” As Jiang Fei entered Han Tianyu’s office, he noticed there was quite a huge crowd within. There were not only the Yang sisters present.

“They must have come after hearing about the news. I can’t control them anymore!” Han Tianyu whispered to Jiang Fei.

The people present in Han Tianyu’s office were mostly influential people in the China Martial Art Alliance. There was a total of sixty of them. If not for Han Tianyu’s spacious office, these people could not have stayed in at all.

The group of people had all heard about Jiang Fei’s deal with the European Vatican. When they found out about Jiang Fei’s new potion, they all came over to get their hands on it. After all, news of the Japanese’s plot had already been spread all over the Martial Art Alliance. Everyone was getting ready to face the impending great battle. Therefore, when a vital potion was discovered to exist, none of them could sit still.

A potion which allowed one to recover his energy quickly was a life-saver to the high level Metahumans. This was also the case for China’s martial artists. Therefore, they regarded this potion as even more important than the Evil Purging Pill and the Grand Restore Pill.

“It’s not very convenient to talk here. Let’s move to the meeting room!” Han Tianyu nodded at Jiang Fei when he saw him. He then brought everyone over to the meeting room next door. After all, his office was not big enough for everyone to be seated.

In the huge meeting room, each of the sects had their leaders seated in a circle. The rest of the followers could only stand behind their respective leaders. Jiang Fei directly sat on the main seat. After all, these people had come to plea for something from him.

“Everyone! I understand why you have come here in such a hurry. I can provide you with some of the potions. However, what would you give me in exchange?” Jiang Fei was as blunt as ever. He was not good with beating around the bust, nor was he interested in doing so.

“This…” As soon as Jiang Fei spoke, everyone became quiet. The reason was simple. They did not know what Jiang Fei wanted. The only thing that was clear was that Jiang Fei wanted nuclear materials. However, everyone here practiced martial arts. None of them had anything to do with nuclear materials.

In all honesty, Jiang Fei was also struggling with the situation at hand. He did not know what to ask of the Martial Art Alliance. Firstly, he already had plans to give the Martial Art Alliance some of the potions. After all, the Japanese’s threat was very serious and Jiang Fei was not confident that he could single-handedly overcome the threat. Therefore, before he could fend the Japanese off, these people were highly crucial in fighting against the Japanese threat. If Jiang Fei did not support them with some of the potions, they might all crumble in the face of the Japanese’s hundreds of thousands of Bio-Humans. Jiang Fei did not even dare to imagine what the inhumane Japanese would do once they conquered China.

However, Han Tianyu had warned Jiang Fei previously that all humans were greedy. In fact, Han Tianyu had given Jiang Fei the same warning multiple times. He told Jiang Fei never to provide the Martial Art Alliance with anything for free. Even if he did not need to ask for anything, Jiang Fei must make sure they pay for what they received.

Han Tianyu was very experienced in that sense. He had a clear idea of how humans were. If one was given something for free for an extended duration, the person would eventually feel entitled. Conversely, if one was rebuked for an extended duration, he would feel grateful if he were not rebuked on a certain day. The truth about humanity was that humans are creatures of habit
