The Almighty Ring

“Hey hey! Chick, is there anything you can do?” Jiang Fei looked at the decreasing Health Points and asked anxiously.

“Hehe, this is some top-notch Divine Arts, not even I can heal myself…” Isabella laughed miserably. At that moment, her death was already certain. She was not even bothered about how Jiang Fei’s disrespectful manner of addressing her.

“No! There must be a way to save you!” Jiang Fei could not bear to stop just short of completing this epic questline.

“How does one ignore the debuff and instantly recover her Health Points?”

“If she was a player, this would be easy. Leveling up can solve everything!”

A ridiculous idea suddenly flashed through Jiang Fei’s mind.

“Chick! My apologies!”

There was limited time. There was no time to ask for her consent.

The next moment, Jiang Fei took an item out of the Spatial Ring.

Ring of Domination (Special Item, Epic)

Use: Use it on a dying Beast-type or Dragon-type monster to capture it as your own pet.

Remarks: Cannot be used on targets more than 5 Levels above you.

Remarks: Cannot be used on bosses of Overlord rank and above.

Remarks: If you do not want to die, please be careful when using it on pure-blooded Dragon-type monsters!

Requirement: Character Level 30

Jiang Fei had once obtained this from the Gnomes. He did not have time to capture pets after he had reached Level 30, so this item had always been unused. Now, this item had become Jiang Fei’s only hope in saving Isabella!

Normally, this item would be ineffective against Isabella. Although Isabella had evolved into a Demonic Naga after having fused with Aeneidstrasza’s flesh and essence, she was still a Level 99 Overlord. The Ring of Domination would hold no power over her!

However, the effects of Famoss’ Divine Art had suppressed Isabella’s Level all the way to 1. While the debuff effect lasted, Isabella had also lost her Overlord rank, so Jiang Fei wanted to give it a try. Rather than have her Race Quest fail, it was better to make a last-ditch effort!

“Ding!”

A golden light flashed. An exquisite collar appeared on Isabella’s snow-white neck. At the same time, Isabella’s body lit up in a series of golden lights. Her Level was forcefully increased, eventually matching Jiang Fei’s.

Having leveled up so many times at once, Isabella’s Health Points were back to full, and the Abnormal Status had been removed. However, Isabella’s Overlord boss rank was now permanently taken away from her.

Isabella (Demonic Naga, Divine Beast)

Level: 33

Health Points: 80,000

Attack Power: 2,400

Magic Attack Power: 3,500

Skills: All common Nephilim skills (half-sealed), all common Black Dragon skills (half-sealed), Deathly Shriek (sealed), Slaughter Ground (sealed), Soul Devour (sealed)!

Life: 10/10

Remarks: It is in your best interests that the Nephilim Emperor see that you have captured his daughter as a pet!

Her little life was saved, but her attributes had changed entirely from a boss to a pet! Moreover, out of all the pets, she was the cream of the crop. As a Level 99 Overlord, she was only one step away from becoming a Celestial. As a pet, she was of a similar stature. However, Isabella’s Level had also been forced down to be the same as Jiang Fei’s, resulting in a sharp decline in her attributes, and most of her skills were sealed. Her strength had instantly hit rock bottom! Of course, becoming a pet still had its advantages. At least, she now had ten lives.

“Ah!” Isabella screamed after she realized what had happened.

*Smack*

Right after that, she slapped Jiang Fei across the face!

“You! You pervert! What have you done to me?” Isabella shouted at Jiang Fei in disbelief.

“Hey! Chick! I was just trying to save your life!” Jiang Fei shrugged.

According to the game’s settings, only wild beasts with little to no intelligence could be caught as pets by players. Generally, NPCs with intelligence would only join player camps as followers. Such a situation was unprecedented, and would never be repeated again.

“B*stard! I will kill you!” Isabella was still unable to get over the fact that she had become someone else’s pet. She could not bring herself to listen to Jiang Fei’s explanation and swung a punch at him.

Immune!

Of course, it was impossible for a pet to hurt its owner!

“Don’t move!” Jiang Fei directly exercised his authority.

“Damn! What did you do to me, you b*stard!”

Isabella remained frozen on the spot.

“Hey! Chick, it’s about time you wake up and smell the coffee. Be good!” Jiang Fei smiled and walked towards Isabella. Then, he reached out and tapped the Demonic Naga Princess’s little nose.

“Ah! B*stard! Move your dirty hands away!” Isabella lost her temper. All her life, she had always been everyone’s little darling. Never had she been treated like so before!

“Okay, okay. I’ll stop teasing you. What’s done is done. You should also keep to your promise. Now, quickly end the Quest for me!” Jiang Fei urged her.

“Don’t wanna!” Isabella lifted her head proudly. Although her identity had changed and she could no longer give out new Quests, she was still the one who had initiated the previous Quest. The last step of Jiang Fei’s Quest still depended on her!

“Chick! Don’t force me, or I’ll order you to take off your clothes!” Jiang Fei threatened Isabella with a smirk.

“Don’t you dare!” Isabella panicked. Now that she was Jiang Fei’s pet, she could never reduce any command, no matter how ridiculous or perverted.

“Hehe, that depends on whether you’re behaving!” Jiang Fei laughed smugly and removed the restriction of Isabella’s movements.

“Boohoo… senior asked you to take care of me, but he just died, and you’re already bullying me!”

After Jiang Fei lifted the restriction, Isabella burst into tears.

*Sigh* “I mean… stop crying. I was just kidding about…” As soon as Isabella started crying, Jiang Fei suddenly panicked. He knew that this was just a virtual girl in the game. However, the virgin Jiang Fei was still taken aback.

“Boohoo… don’t ever give me such a perverted order in the future!”

Isabella peeked at the flustered Jiang Fei and quickly took the opportunity to negotiate.

“Okay, okay!” Jiang Fei nodded. He was just scaring Isabella. Why would he make a girl take off her clothes for real? He was not that perverted!

“And you also can’t make me do things that I don’t wanna do!” Isabella continued.

“Sure sure sure, just stop crying!” Jiang Fei nodded without hesitation.

He just wanted Isabella to stop crying. After all, the sound of a girl crying was really annoying!

“And…” Isabella was going a little overboard.

“I think that’s enough! If you ask me for more, I’ll go back on my words!” Jiang Fei rolled his eyes. If he gave this girl an inch, she would take a mile! He had to control her!

“Fine! Here are your Quest Rewards!” As she spoke, Isabella used her authority as an NPC for the last time and brought Jiang Fei’s Quest to closure.
