Chapter 1173: Reflection V/S Reflection

Oblivion Hall, Uruni Forest, inside the andromed dome,

Anon stood in the middle of the room breathing heavily, his soul still trapped inside the arcknit demon’s body.

“This body is fucking weak…” Anon spoke as he looked at his hand and noticed that it was completely obliterated from the Thunder Javelin spell that he used a few seconds ago in order to destroy the stone slab.

“… I need to transfer my soul to another body, but for now this should do.” He spoke with a neutral expression, as he started to cast several enchantment spells on the arcknit demon’s body.

…

“Let’s see…” Anon spoke in a low voice as he immediately picked up a broken stone from the ground and pressed it in between his fingers tightly.

*Crack*

*Crush*

With just a little pressure the stone got crushed into fine dust.

“Now… That’s what I am talking about. Now, let’s get the fuck out of this place and kill some Avatars.” Anon spoke with an amused smile as he walked towards the dome’s exit door.

*Step-Step-Step-Step-Step-Step-Step*

As soon as he reached near the door, Anon raised his hand in order to grab the handle but before his hand could’ve reached the handle, a translucent red barrier appeared over the handle that covered it from all sides.

*Ssssssss*

As soon as Anon’s fingers touched the red barrier, they evaporated completely.

“The fuck ?” Anon pulled his hand back and noticed the burn marks on his evaporated fingers. He then used his skill on the barrier.

[Name: Barrier Of the Sun God]

[Rank: SS]

[Description: A magical barrier embedded with the powers of the Sun God, Esternos. Once deployed, this barrier holds immense power in itself and let’s nothing pass through it. If something or someone tried to pass through barrier, extreme heat will evaporate them immediately. Souls, bodies and mana all together.]

[Warning: Host is adviced to stay away from the barrier, as it can cause serious injuries and Permanent Death.]

‘The warning… I haven’t seen the word ‘Permanent Death’ anywhere and it says the barrier will also burn down my soul. This might be a little serious now.’ Anon thought with a serious as he took a step back used his skill.

As soon as he used the skill, all the fingers in his hand regenerated back to normal but the healing was slower than usual.

“Hmm… He casted such a powerful spell around the handle of the exit door as a precaution, in case I somehow succeeded in getting out from under that slab.

Hah, why do I feel like the urge to kill him is getting stronger and stronger inside my heart.” Anon spoke with a wide smile as his eyes shined brightly purple.

‘Well… Whatever, I will just blast the whole door out.’ Anon thought in his mind as he took a step back and raised his hand.

“Thunder Javelin…”

As soon as the spell was activated, Blue and golden lights covered Anon’s hand as a spear formed out of them.

“Here goes nothing…” Anon spoke as he pulled his hand back and threw the spear towards the gate with full power.

*BOOOOOOOOM*

As soon as the spear’s tip touched the gate, the enchantments on the dome’s inner walls were triggered immediately.

Thunder Javelin was immediately absorbed by the gate and without wasting another second, ten thunder Javelins were reflected back at Anon from all sides.

“Seven Ghastly Steps…” Anon activated another spell and immediately dissapeared from his position, dodging each and every single projectile without sustaining any damage.

“Obviously that’s why he only casted the barrier on the door’s handle.” Anon spoke with a serious expression as he looked at the door.

‘Master… You might not have much time left as the sunset will happen in around five minutes.’ Ghost’s voice resounded in his head.

“You can talk to me in my head ?” Anon asked with a confused expression.

‘Yes master but only to give urgent informations and only once in every twenty four hours for one minute. This marks the end of my time, I will still be inside the soul realm if you-‘ Ghost’s voice dissapeared before he could’ve completed his sentence.

“So, I have five minutes to get out of a dome that’s covered in a reflection spell.

But what can counter reflection ? No matter what I throw at it, the enchantments will just throw them back at me ten times the original amount and I can’t even take it head on because this body isn’t capable of handling that kind of stress.” Anon thought as he immediately sat down on the ground and closed his eyes.

‘Think… think… think… there has to be something that can counter reflection, it’s reflection it will reflect everything back, but what is something that can not be reflected back and-‘ Suddenly an idea popped inside Anon’s mind as he opened his eyes and walked upto the centre of the room.

“This better work or I will die one hundred percent this time, well if I look at it like that… It’s not like it will be anything bad, my soul will just get back to my original body and it’s not like this will be the first time I am playing with death either, so let’s do this.” Anon spoke as a smile appeared over his face and he clapped both of his hands together.

“Thunder Javelin…”

*ZZZZZZZZZ*

Another Javelin made out of blue and golden thunder formed in his hand.

Anon pulled his hand back and thrusted it forward with full power.

*BOOOOOOOOM*

As soon as the spear’s tip touched the dome’s wall, enchantments were activated once again.

The Thunder Javelin was absorbed by the dome’s walls and ten Thunder Javelins were reflected back at Anon’s position.

‘The idea is simple. Nothing can stand against reflection except reflection itself, now I need to see which one of the spell breaks first.’ Anon thought as he casted his follow up spell.

….

Somewhere inside a dark dorm room of the Rivera Academy…

“Did you felt that ?” A male’s voice rang in silence.

“What ?” Another voice asked in a confused tone.

“That energy… I know that mana.”

“What mana ?”

“An overwhelming pressure… a human’s mana, I can feel a human’s mana in realm.”

“Are you sure it’s a human ?”

“I think it’s that human. What was his name again ?”

“Anon Agriel.”
