Chapter 1172: Severed Connections

“Wait, Wait, Wait… How do you know all this ?” Anon asked with a confused expression.

“I am a divine artifact made by the goddess of creation herself. I have knowledge of worlds beyond your imagination.

I assume your connection to Ayakashic Records is still severed that’s why you aren’t using any spell, right ?”

“Yeah. What the fuck are Ayakashic Records anyway ? Whenever I change realm, the connection gets severed.” Anon asked with a confused expression.

“The Ayakashic Records are like a huge collection of spells and skills. Everytime when a human, demon or god wants to use a skill, they say the skill’s chant and the Ayakashic Records hear it.

Once the chant matches with a spell that’s already registered in the Ayakashic Records, the spell gets casted.

That’s how every single being is using magic.”

“Then why does it get severed when I change in-between realms ?” Anon asked with a neutral expression.

“The Ayakashic Records are tied to your body and not to your soul. Whenever your soul travels in-between realms, you possess a new body and in that body, you suppress the soul of the one whom that body really belonged to.

When a person dies, it takes around thirty to forty-five minutes in order to get their connections severed from the Ayakashic Records in case someone has mastered a legendary spell and the person get’s revived again.

Now, once you enter inside someone else’s body, it’s like you killed them and that’s why the connection gets severed but it gets restored again because you are still alive.”

“I see, so now what ? Can you get my soul back to my real body ?” Anon asked with a neutral expression.

“No, I can’t do such thing but I can do something even more intresting.”

“And… that is ?”

“You see, I am thinking of pulling your connection from the Ayakashic Records and attach them to your soul realm.”

“What ? I don’t understand- What !?” Anon asked with a very confused expression.

“You see instead of pulling spells from the Ayakashic Records, all the spells that you have right now will be stored in here, in your own soul realm.

But, the thing is… You won’t be able to use any spells in the Ayakashic Records after that.”

“I don’t understand anything you just said. Explain that in details.”

“Okay, Okay… Just imagine this is a fireball spell,” The artifact spoke as he raised his hand and a page appeared floating above his palm that had fireball spell’s magic circle on it.

“Now, it’s in the Ayakashic Records and you can use it anytime you want, but you can’t learn this spell now.

When I move this spell out of the Ayakashic Records, I have to make some changes in it and store it in here, now you get to learn skills when you tear skill pages because that skill is already registered in the Ayakashic Records.

But, once your connection is severed, you won’t be able to learn anything from skill pages, so unless you have a spell that can pull out skills from other’s minds, I wouldn’t recommend you to do it but seeing that you will die anyway… doing it is your only choice.”

Suddenly a wide smile appeared over Anon’s face.

“Hmm…? You are happy ?”

“You don’t have any idea of the skills that I have, do you ?” Anon asked with a smile.

“Not right now, I just-“

“Do it. Severe my connection to the Ayakashic Records completely and transfer all of my spells here.” Anon replied with a smile.

“As you command, Master.” The artifact spoke with a smile as he immediately clapped his hands together and a bright light covered the whole room.

Anon closed his eyes immediately and when the brightness dimmed down, he slowly opened them again only to see a huge library forming all around him.

Huge glass racks filled with thousands of books, buliding all around him from nothing.

The water under his feet turned into grass and warmth spreaded all around his soul realm.

“I have so many skills…” Anon spoke with a shocked expression.

“No, most of these books are empty. They are here for future spell learning in case you find a way to learn new spells, you will be able to store them here.” The artifact explained.

“Say… Why don’t you give yourself a name ? So, I can call you that.”

“A name ? I only know one name and that is my creator, Averis. Should I name myself that ? Or would you prefer your name to be my name as well since-“

“Ghost is what I will call you. He was like a brother to me and since you look exactly like me, that name will suit you.” Anon replied with a neutral expression.

“I accept the name given by my master.” Ghost replied with a neutral expression.

“So… Can I use the spells now ?” Anon asked.

“Yes, I will transfer your consciousness back to the body that you are possessing right now and you will be able to use-” Suddenly ghost stopped speaking as he started staring into the blank space.

“What happened ?” Anon asked with a confused expression.

“Ah… Now i understand, it’s mind control. That’s why master asked if I know about your basic skills, master can pull out skills that others learn, right out of their minds.

That’s an evil skill.” Ghost spoke as a smile appeared over his face.

“Isn’t it ? Now, send me back to that body… I want to kill a god’s Avatar.” Anon spoke with a serious expression.

“Ah right…” Ghost spoke as he immediately clapped his hands together and darkness covered Anon’s eyes once again.

*Clap*

…

Anon returned back to the body and immediately used his skill.

As soon as he used the skill, sensations started returning to his body immediately and as it healed, the slab started to go up.

*SSSSSSS*

“Thunder Javelin…” Anon spoke as he immediately used another skill.

*Zzzzzzzz*

Suddenly golden and blue lights started to flash out from underneath the slab.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
