”You don’t know, you say? What do you mean?” Cassian furrowed his brow, as if he didn’t understand.

”Ahem! Simply put, the Singularity of Light is incredibly powerful, and I don’t know what else to say about it,” Zerathos replied casually, hiding his fear.

Once he realized how terrifying a singularity was, his confidence in conquering the continent immediately vanished.

One Singularity was already that powerful—what about seven?

However, he quickly calmed himself. If his power returned to its peak, he was sure he could defeat them all.

”So that’s how it is...” Cassian nodded.

If Zerathos was truly deflated and frightened just because of the Singularity of Light, that would be nonsense.

After all, the Singularity of Chaos was said to be stronger than the Singularity of Light.

Then how could Zerathos keep his promise to defeat Elina if he was afraid of facing the Singularity of Light?

At that moment, the Singularity of Light suddenly stopped in his tracks.

He turned to Cassian and looked him straight in the eye.

Feeling that gaze, Cassian was terrified. But Zerathos, realizing that gaze was aimed at him, was even more terrified.

”Has he found me?”

That was the thought that crossed his mind. The next second, both eyes of the Singularity of Light emitted a bright golden glow.

”No!” Zerathos screamed in fear as he saw a golden sword as big as a mountain hurtling toward him and crushing him.

When he opened his eyes, he looked around in panic.

I... I’m still alive? Zerathos was sweating coldly as he gasped for breath.

He didn’t expect the Singularity of Light to do that to him.

Inevitably, he wondered whether his existence had been discovered or not.

”Demon Emperor Zerathos, are you okay? Just now, the Singularity of Light glanced in my direction. Did you see it?” Cassian’s voice came from in front of him.

Zerathos didn’t answer. He was afraid that if he uttered even a single word, the Singularity of Light would reveal his existence in front of everyone.

If that happened, it would be fatal—for him and for Cassian.

His plan for resurrection would also be completely destroyed, and he didn’t want that to happen.

Meanwhile, Dariel, noticing that his father had stopped, turned around and asked hesitantly, ”What’s wrong, Father?”

Rebecca, Adalen, Clarisse, and Erald also turned around curiously.

”It’s nothing.” The Singularity of Light took his gaze off Cassian and smiled faintly. ”I just found something interesting.”

His explanation was vague and unclear, and the four of them had no idea what he meant.

Even so, they didn’t think much of it.

”Let’s go,” Dariel said.

The others nodded and continued walking toward the end of the hall.

”Prime Minister Mikazura of the Eastern Empire of Izanagi has entered the hall!”

At that moment, the hall guard’s voice echoed again.

Everyone turned and saw a handsome young man walking in.

He was tall, wore glasses, and had short black hair.

He was handsome, with features typical of people from the eastern region.

The most striking part was his attire: he wore a black kimono while holding a hand fan in his right hand.

As everyone saw his arrival, they took a deep breath and held it.

Prime Minister Mikazura was the most famous figure in the eastern continent.

He was known not only for his status but also for his extraordinary skill.

If the Great Velmora Empire had Roswell, then the Eastern Izanagi Empire had Mikazura—the renowned strategist of the east.

Is that Prime Minister Mikazura? What a formidable man, Cedric muttered.

Just from his aura alone, he could tell the man was intelligent and cunning—just like him and his uncle.

I must establish a good relationship with him, he muttered with determination.

The Eastern Empire of Izanagi was on par with the Great Velmora Empire.

The relationship between the two empires was neither too close nor too distant—just balanced.

If he could build a good relationship between the two powers, it would definitely be considered a great achievement in his father’s eyes.

His position in the battle for the throne would also rise by one level.

”Mikazura, huh? It’s been a long time since I last saw him.”

In the distance, Roswell smiled slightly as he looked at Mikazura with a playful gaze.

He and Mikazura were not particularly close. However, many people often compared him to that man.

And it had to be admitted that, both in his way of thinking and his demeanor, Mikazura was the greatest person he had ever met.

Still wearing a faint smile, he stepped forward to greet him.

”Nice to meet you, Prime Minister Mikazura. I didn’t expect you to come.”

Mikazura was a little surprised, then turned to his right. When he saw that the person speaking was Roswell, his indifferent expression softened.

”Thank you for your welcome. Yeah, I’m representing the Eastern Empire of Izanagi this time. Our diplomats are busy, and inevitably, I’ve taken on this job,” he chuckled.

Roswell just smiled without replying. He could tell Mikazura was lying, but his expression and tone were so natural that even Roswell wasn’t sure whether it was simply an excuse or not.

The two exchanged words casually, like old friends who hadn’t met in a long time.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed, and Cedric appeared beside them.

Roswell paused his conversation with Mikazura and turned to his nephew.

”Oh, right. Let me introduce you—this is my nephew, the second prince of the Great Velmora Empire, Cedric Lorian. If I’m not mistaken, I mentioned him a few years ago. Do you still remember?”

Cedric smiled, placed his right hand on his chest, and bowed his head toward Mikazura.

”Greetings, Prime Minister Mikazura. It’s nice to meet you.”

Mikazura looked him up and down with admiration.

”Yes, I remember. It’s nice to meet you too, Prince Cedric,” he replied warmly.

Cedric was delighted by his response. Soon after, he began speaking with Mikazura.

As fellow owners of intelligence far beyond ordinary people, the two quickly grew close.

Moreover, Cedric possessed extensive knowledge, so they never ran out of topics.

Roswell, meanwhile, simply watched them with a faint smile.

He had deliberately paved the way for his nephew to get acquainted with Mikazura.

After all, that connection was invaluable.

It was possible that the Great Velmora Empire would open official diplomatic channels with the Eastern Empire of Izanagi through Cedric in the future.

That would certainly be considered a great achievement.

”By the way, I heard that you’re the record holder for the highest score at the Imperial Academy, Prince. Is that true?”

Cedric chuckled as he waved his right hand. ”You flatter me, Prime Minister. But it’s true—I did break the record at the academy.”

His tone was calm, but there was pride and a hint of arrogance in it.

When dealing with someone as intelligent as Mikazura, he couldn’t be too arrogant, but he also couldn’t be too humble.

Only then could he earn Mikazura’s respect.

And sure enough, the admiration in Mikazura’s eyes for Cedric increased by several points.

”You are truly a genius—even surpassing your uncle,” he praised.

”Pfft! Are you using me as a punchline, Prime Minister Mikazura?” Roswell laughed.

”Ah, that’s not it, Prime Minister Roswell. Your scores are also recorded at the Imperial Academy, right? Since Prince Cedric broke the record, that means he surpassed you.”

”You’re not wrong. I’m sorry for overreacting.”

The two looked at each other and laughed together.

After ten minutes of conversation, Mikazura finally excused himself to greet the other guests.

Roswell and Cedric didn’t mind. Once Mikazura left, Roswell turned to Cedric and praised him, ”You’re amazing, Cedric. Mikazura must have a good impression of you.”

”It’s all thanks to you, Uncle.” Cedric remained humble.

Roswell simply smiled without replying.

Suddenly, he noticed that Mikazura wasn’t heading toward the crowd of noble heads or the guests from other regions, but... toward Elina?

What’s going on? Why is he going toward Princess Elina? Roswell muttered in confusion.
