After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 2213: Chapter 568: Kroos’s Interview (Part 2)

The third young master hiding under the bed was so nervous his breathing even turned a bit rapid.

Huang Kaiwen heard it loud and clear.

But he first opened the wardrobe and rummaged through it, then checked under the desk.

Finally, Huang Kaiwen walked toward the single bed.

Huang Kaiwen deliberately slowed his steps, and the kid was obviously holding his breath.

Feeling it was about time, Huang Kaiwen lifted the quilt and said, ”Nobody here,” then turned around and left.

He was just teasing the third young master, not really trying to train the kid’s lung capacity.

But since he already knew where the person was, Huang Kaiwen had no interest in continuing the search.

He pretended to stroll away, took out his phone and played Snake for a while, then went back to the young master’s room, lowered his head and said, ”Found you!”

”Kevin, you took so long to find me!”

The third young master said, face full of pride.

Huang Kaiwen took his hand and said, ”Yeah, I’m not that good. But now it’s your turn to be ’it.’”

After the two of them went downstairs, the third young master lifted his little face and said to his mom, ”Kevin almost couldn’t find me!”

”That means you’re smart. Smart kids need to study hard!”

Adriana said with a pampering look.

Paul rolled his eyes. The third child was obviously the most gifted of all the kids; wouldn’t studying be a waste?

”I’m ’it’ now, Kevin!”

The third young master said, covering his eyes.

Huang Kaiwen stood there with his arms folded and said, ”Start counting then.”

”1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8...”

Huang Kaiwen immediately said, ”2.”

The third young master followed Huang Kaiwen and said, ”2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9...”

Seeing he was about to finish, Huang Kaiwen spoke again: ”1.”

The young third young master fell for it again, and kept counting: ”...2,3,4,5,6,7...”

This whole scene had everyone at the dining table struggling not to laugh.

After it happened two more times, the third young master finally couldn’t take it anymore, burst into loud wails and cried, ”It never ends, it just never ends.”

Paol Maldini, rarely losing his composure, clutched his stomach and pounded on the table.

Huang Kaiwen said irritably, ”Enjoying the show like that doesn’t look like what a good father would do.”

”Hahaha, bastard, hahahaha... you’re the one who made him cry, hahaha.”

Paol Maldini said.

Huang Kaiwen shrugged and said, ”He’ll still come looking for me to play next time. No matter what I do, everyone will forgive me, including little Kevin of course.”

”Let’s go.”

The young lady tugged at the show-off Huang Kaiwen and urged him.

If they stayed any longer, the job of coaxing the child would probably fall on Huang Kaiwen.

Who knew how late they’d get home then.

Lily and the young lady walked on either side of Huang Kaiwen, and none of the three showed any intention of getting in the car right away.

Neo drove behind them in the car.

”Don’t worry about going to play. Even if the baby’s born, I still have Lily with me.” The young lady gently tried to persuade him.

Her due date had already arrived, but lots of people give birth earlier or later.

”How can I not worry? Lily herself is still a kid.”

Huang Kaiwen sighed.

This kid of Paul’s really came at the wrong time, right around the UEFA Champions League final.

”Hey, who are you calling a kid?”

Lily grabbed Huang Kaiwen’s hand in annoyance and leaned forward, chest first.

Huang Kaiwen glared at her at once. What the hell was she doing on a main street? Even though Milan didn’t have that many surveillance cameras, you still couldn’t be doing that kind of thing.

A lot of old Italian men and women loved to lean over their balconies to watch the excitement, and who knew what other kinks people might have. In Tinto Brass’s films there were often scenes like that, someone on their own balcony using binoculars to watch the wonderful show in the building opposite.

The young lady spoke up again: ”Should we extend Pirlo and Guardiola’s contracts?”

”Ask Mr. Guardiola what he thinks.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

He hadn’t planned on stepping into a coaching role this soon.

Cesare Maldini was already so old; there was no way he could coach Milan long-term.

There were only so many good coaches in the world right now.

Guardiola was considered a pretty good fit for Milan.

Even if Sir Ferguson came, he might not be able to get along smoothly with these prickly Italians. The older generation of coaches valued authority too much and rarely, like Guardiola, mocked themselves in front of players to close the distance with the dressing room.

As for Pirlo...

Huang Kaiwen wasn’t sure either.

Whether he could stay at Milan depended entirely on the coach and his own wishes.

But Huang Kaiwen felt he probably wouldn’t.

After all, this season Guardiola’s intention to sideline Pirlo had been very obvious, and Pirlo wasn’t that old.

They chatted a bit more, and only when Huang Kaiwen worried Barbara might catch a chill did he pull the two of them into the car.

The three of them washed up and went to bed.

The next morning, Huang Kaiwen got up quietly and went to the guest-room bathroom to take a shower.

When he came back to the master bedroom wanting to pack his luggage, he saw the young lady, still groggy, pulling Lily along to help pack his suitcase.

”Why are you up?”

Huang Kaiwen hurriedly helped the young lady sit down as he asked.

”I’m fine. Even if something happens, there are doctors.”

The young lady said with a smile.

There was an entire medical team in charge of her delivery.

No matter where she was, during this period she could be rushed to the hospital quickly to receive the best care.

They’d even made some arrangements at home so that if anything happened, she could give birth right there.

All of this was at Huang Kaiwen’s request.

The young lady had teased him for making a fuss over nothing, but she still accepted his arrangements.

In life, a lot of things required mutual compromise.

Watching Lily busying herself there, he hadn’t expected the little girl to have grown up.

But Huang Kaiwen still stopped her hand and said, ”We don’t need to bring that.”

”What, you planning to have a few illegitimate kids?”

Lily rolled her eyes and asked.

Huang Kaiwen joked, ”I mean, you can buy this in Munich too.”

”You’re asking for it!”

Lily swung her fist and thumped it onto Huang Kaiwen.
