After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 2093: Chapter 542: Our Team Has Collapsed

Quite a few Milan players went downstairs to watch the commotion.

Messi had been to London before.

Back then, the London fans gave him the feeling of nobles watching gladiatorial fights, with no enthusiasm at all.

So seeing such fans today surprised him a bit.

Inzaghi wrapped an arm around Messi’s neck and said, ”North London belongs to Arsenal and Tottenham, West London is Chelsea’s, East London has West Ham, but the whole of London belongs to Kevin.”

”That’s amazing!”

Messi exclaimed.

”Haven’t you seen that video of Kevin driving to stop an out-of-control school bus? I didn’t even know this guy was so brave; I always thought he’s just as scared of dying as I am.”

Inzaghi sneered.

Messi stayed silent.

The truth was right there: Huang Kaiwen did save a bus full of kids with his life.

What was more unbelievable was the rumor that Huang Kaiwen didn’t get a scratch, which made Messi wonder if he was truly blessed by God.

”How do you know all this so well?”

Messi reacted and asked.

”Oh, Kevin II keeps talking about these things every day.”

Inzaghi pointed at Ramos.

Whenever new players asked about Huang Kaiwen’s glorious past, Ramos could pull them aside and talk for hours.

From writing books to auctioning off jerseys for astronomical prices, from the kinds and rarity of medals he’s won to their meanings, and the honors Huang Kaiwen received worldwide, to his charity activities.

Ramos could recount it all without missing a beat.

At this point, Inzaghi finally felt that Ramos, the postgrad, was indeed quite amazing.

After the fans left, the Milan players returned to their rooms.

This time, Milan brought their own chef, so there were no problems with food.

As the match approached.

England’s football legends became quite active.

Many gave their opinions.

First was Manchester United’s coach, Ferguson.

This time, Manchester United unexpectedly got eliminated in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, and the professor had made some snide remarks about it.

During an interview with Manchester United TV, Ferguson said, ”Arsenal has no chance of victory. This match for Kevin is just an excuse to travel to London; playing football is a secondary matter.”

Chelsea F.C. captain Terry said in an interview, ”We are more focused on Chelsea’s games. Kevin is a good friend of mine, Arsenal is a British team, so I should support Arsenal, but I hope Kevin wins. In fact, whether it’s Arsenal or Chelsea, it’s hard to beat AC Milan. I hope we can progress further and avoid meeting AC Milan as much as possible.”

Arsenal legend and former Arsenal captain, Tony Adams, had a different view. Adams told a ”The Times” reporter, ”Juventus has already provided the answers to the problems, Mr. Wenger will not ignore them. When he first arrived at Arsenal, his advanced ideas conquered us all. Mr. Wenger is very good at learning, so I believe Arsenal will give AC Milan considerable trouble at the Emirates Stadium.”

But in the ”Daily Mail” poll regarding the support rates and chances of winning for both sides,

the results were quite embarrassing for the English football community.

The away team, Milan, had a support rate as high as 83%.

And 91% of fans believed Milan could win, with only 6% of domestic fans thinking Arsenal had a chance to win at the Emirates, excluding abstaining voters.

This incident was also widely reported by media worldwide.

”Bild” sarcastically used the headline ”Traitors” on its front page, mocking its rivals. They wrote, ”The British still think their football is world number one, but from the online polls, we can see that Serie A teams, whether in strength or popularity, are far superior to Premier League teams. Previously, during UEFA matches, the British were united in supporting their national teams, but reality has turned out to be harsher than they imagined.”

The Germans never miss an opportunity to mock the British.

The development of the Premier League has made many countries envious.

The attitude of the British media has indeed aroused dissatisfaction in many other countries.

Just like that, time finally reached March 28th.

An unexpected event occurred when the Milan team was preparing to depart in the afternoon.

”How’s Christian doing?”

Guardiola asked anxiously.

”Still not well. Even if he stops the diarrhea, I wouldn’t recommend you start him; he’s like a wrung-out shrimp now.”

Giovanni Nanni joked.

But Guardiola wasn’t in the mood for jokes at this time.

Buffon has been troubled by injuries recently, and although his recovery is good, considering the player’s future and the European Cup, Guardiola decided not to risk using Buffon.

So this time, only Abbiati and Amelia traveled with the team to London.

Abbiati was his planned starting goalkeeper.

But after breakfast today, Abbiati started having diarrhea, which was quite a blow to Milan.

Domenec Torrent asked, ”What should we do, Pep?”

Guardiola didn’t answer but asked back, ”What do you think, mate?”

Torrent hesitated for a moment and said, ”Marco Amelia is very loyal.”

”That’s it?”

Guardiola asked.

Torrent nodded.

Amelia’s ability really isn’t enough to be a starter for Milan.

With Buffon and Abbiati occupying the first and second goalkeeper positions, Amelia hasn’t had many opportunities to play.
