After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1812: Chapter 485: The Strongest Tactics Return to the Field

The players didn’t have much of a reaction.

At this moment, Clement continued: ”Today, our tactic is to pass the ball to Kevin as much as possible after we get it. Any problems?”

”No!!!”

The atmosphere in the locker room immediately heated up.

Ramos, Kroos, and a few others shouted more eagerly than anyone.

”Very good, then let’s go out for warm-up.”

Clement gestured broadly and said.

This was the conclusion he reached after studying the tactics of Mourinho and Capello.

Now seeing it, it indeed should be like this.

At San Siro Stadium, various banners and visual patterns were already on display early.

For the giants, the UEFA Champions League is always the top priority.

Before the match even started, the stands were already echoing with cheer songs.

During the warm-up, Huang Kaiwen didn’t show much, just simple ball handling, but it still elicited bursts of cheers from San Siro.

Van Persie looked at Milan’s half with envy in his eyes.

Van Bommel’s transfer to AC Milan was something he found very hard to accept.

Because in his view, Van Bommel was just a rough player.

Although last summer, his ankle injury and Chamakh’s excellent performance lowered his status, after winter, van Persie soon proved himself again.

In the match against Wigan Athletic, he finally scored his first hat-trick of his Arsenal career, followed by goals in successive games.

Van Persie felt that if there’s any Dutchman qualified to play alongside Huang Kaiwen, it would definitely be him!

As the players of both teams returned to the tunnel, van Persie immediately greeted Huang Kaiwen: ”How have you been lately, Kevin?”

”Not bad, Robin, you seem to be doing well too.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”Yes, I’m feeling okay.”

Van Persie nodded and said.

He was waiting for Huang Kaiwen to invite him to play at AC Milan, but Huang Kaiwen was already greeting other Arsenal players.

Van Persie looked somewhat displeased at Nasri, thinking surely that jerk initiated the conversation first.

There’s a need to teach him a lesson someday.

”The players from both teams are already on the field, and the UEFA Champions League anthem starts.”

”Indeed, I believe the fans have been looking forward to this for a long time. We’ve finally reached the European knockout stages, and today we’re bringing you the highlight of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, AC Milan’s home match against Arsenal.”

”Hehe, we’ve commentated on Arsenal’s matches quite often before, especially when Huang Kaiwen was playing for Chelsea and frequently faced Arsenal.”

”Yes, but Arsenal’s main lineup has changed somewhat, and we can see Wenger is continuously strengthening the team.”

”Yes, let’s take a look at the starting lineup of both sides next.”

AC Milan 4321 Christmas Tree:

Goalkeeper: Buffon,

Defenders: Zambrotta, Godin, Thiago Silva, Ramos,

Midfielders: Huang Kaiwen, Lars Bender, Pirlo, Rakitic, Gattuso,

Forward: Torres.

Arsenal 433 with a single defensive midfielder:

Goalkeeper: Szczesny,

Defenders: Clichy, Zulu, Koscielny, Sagna,

Midfielders: Fabregas, Wilshere, Alex Song,

Forwards: Nasri, van Persie, Walcott.

”The three players previously suspended have all returned, and AC Milan’s lineup has undergone some changes.”

”Yes, both Kaka and the recently well-performing youngster Kroos aren’t starting today. AC Milan’s assistant coach Clement has put Lars Bender in the defensive midfielder position to protect Pirlo.”

”Yes, but I have some doubts. Normally, when Kaka and Huang Kaiwen play as dual attacking midfielders, they both drift wide and swap positions. Can Gattuso do the same? Are we going to see Huang Kaiwen and Gattuso flying down the wings today?”

”We have to wait and see during the match.”

At 7:45 PM, French referee Stefan Lannoy blew the whistle to start the match.

Milan kicked off first.

Torres immediately passed the ball sideways.

After Huang Kaiwen got the ball, he passed it back right away.

Playing against a team like Arsenal requires caution, as their one-touch passing ability is very strong. If you press too deep, it’s easy for them to pass the ball into the goal.

Lars Bender was very careful when he got the ball, deliberately keeping a distance from Pirlo.

Walcott’s sudden acceleration gave him a scare, and Bender quickly passed the ball back to Zambrotta.

Zambrotta took a glance forward, found no opportunity, and chose to send a lob pass directly to the center. Rakitic, who was in a forward position, received the ball and immediately broke through forward.

Ramos followed and charged forward.

Gattuso glanced and decided to follow behind them, ready to quickly defend in case of a turnover.

Wenger, on the sidelines, clenched his fists nervously, completely losing the composed demeanor he showed at press conferences.

He claimed to approach the game with a ”wait and see” attitude, but the truth was, he really didn’t want his team facing Huang Kaiwen.

Even when Huang Kaiwen didn’t have the ball, there needed to be a player specially marking him.

This kind of pressure is something other players can’t match.

Rakitic, with small steps, already dribbled to the front court, and Ramos went straight up.

Under these circumstances, Clichy had to run along with Ramos.

At this moment, Rakitic suddenly twisted and delivered a pass.

The pass was very fast.

But standing at the flank, Huang Kaiwen stretched out his left foot, stopping the ball directly into his right foot.

Then he pushed it forward with his right foot, and Sagna, who rushed over, was left behind.

Step-over dribble!

Koscielny hurried to fill in the position, but Huang Kaiwen had already dribbled to the byline, and Koscielny couldn’t keep up with Huang Kaiwen’s speed at all.

Whap—

Huang Kaiwen, in motion, sent in a long pass.

Wenger’s heart was in his throat.

Seeing this ball go high, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

At this point, the professor realized, in just under a minute since the start, his hands and heart were already sweaty.
