After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1401: Chapter 405: The £40 Million Contract

The Chelsea players, after a night’s rest, finally felt refreshed.

Even these high-income players were shocked by the luxury of the hotel.

This is the world’s only eight-star hotel.

There are far more staff than guests, even when fully occupied, the ratio of waitstaff to guests remains at 6:1.

The hotel is located on Abu Dhabi Beach, bordered by the sea to the north and west.

The interior space is astonishingly large.

Some stairways have gaps exceeding one kilometer.

The service is quite extravagant as well; when serving coffee, not only do they use silver trays, but the trays are covered with rose petals, with linen napkins placed beside them.

Every Chelsea player is accompanied by several staff members.

It’s evident that the oil tycoons have put forth a lot of effort for publicity.

Cole and the others, after waking up, immediately went swimming.

Huang Kaiwen was preparing to explore when Kenyon called him to the meeting room.

”Kevin, let me introduce you, this is the hotel president Mohammed Zunaybi,” Kenyon said with a smile.

”Mr. Zunaybi,”

Huang Kaiwen nodded and said.

Anyone working in a place like this is basically part of the Royal Family.

Because there was a trend for some time about going to Dubai to pick up trash in stories, Huang Kaiwen made it a point to learn a bit about it.

The oil tycoons are indeed wealthy.

But don’t mention foreigners; some locals aren’t even considered people.

To be categorized as a person in this place, you must first enjoy affluent living conditions.

To be the president at such a hotel, one is either from the Royal Family or a lapdog of a prince with real power.

After all, princes are busy spending money and don’t have time to manage things daily.

”Kevin, it’s great to meet you, I liked Chelsea very much when I was studying in London,” Mohammed Zunaybi said with a smile.

His London accent only confirmed Huang Kaiwen’s suspicions.

It’s quite popular among oil tycoon royals to study in the United Kingdom.

As for saying he’s a Chelsea fan, that’s just courtesy.

When he went to school, Chelsea was not doing better than Villa or West Ham.

At that time, Arsenal wasn’t doing too well either, let alone Chelsea.

”When you get a chance, you can come to London for a visit. Chelsea’s hall of honors now has many more trophies than before.”

Huang Kaiwen nodded and said.

Kenyon smiled and said, ”We invited you to come so the hotel can use you for some promotion; simply cooperating with some filming during your stay in Abu Dhabi could earn you 40 million British Pounds, plus a quite considerable endorsement fee annually.”

”Endorsement, are they planning advertisements?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

Even if he agreed, the hotel wouldn’t put up billboards, right?

Moreover, being too close to oil tycoons isn’t good, as religious belief conflicts are irreconcilable.

”It’s not needed, just come here twice a year for travel, we’ll take some photos and videos to post online.”

Mohammed Zunaybi said: ”The number of accompanying people shouldn’t exceed 50 and the costs will be waived, twice a year, each stay for at least 3 days.”

Wow!

Truly wealthy!

Huang Kaiwen thought it would be like Beckham serving as a World Cup promotion ambassador.

Turns out it’s just coming over for a few days to take photos.

Huang Kaiwen immediately nodded and said: ”Alright, I agree, you can take pictures, but you absolutely cannot disclose our cooperation.”

Though the money is substantial.

But the Yellow Ball King’s fundamental market is in the Vatican.

Huang Kaiwen was very clear about this.

If the oil tycoons really promoted aggressively, it would surely have some negative impact.

”Alright, happy cooperation.”

Mohammed Zunaybi said with a smile.

He also hoped not to disclose this deal.

Getting Huang Kaiwen to cooperate in promotions was inherently about capturing the life of a regular tourist, showing the world more about their country and hotel.

If this transaction were revealed, the effect wouldn’t be as good.

After reaching a temporary agreement, Huang Kaiwen went out for a swim.

Next, the contract needs to be refined, the oil tycoons will have to fly to Milan City to discuss with the young lady.

Huang Kaiwen never thought of earning 40 million dollars just by coming to the UAE to play a Club World Cup.

Seems like the money feels a bit less now.

Later that evening, when Huang Kaiwen called the young lady, he deliberately mentioned this matter.

By the time the contract is signed, increase the price; anyway, for them, an extra eight-figure sum is just like digging a few more barrels of oil.

December 16th.

The entire Chelsea team rode a bus to Al Ain City, defeating Mexico’s Atlante F.C. with a 5:1 victory at Zayed Sports City Stadium.

In this match, Mourinho initially didn’t intend for Huang Kaiwen to play.

Yet thinking about all that money they received, Huang Kaiwen still went on the pitch for the last 5 minutes.

Three days later, Chelsea will still be at this stadium, facing Veron-led La Plata University Students team.
