After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

There’s nothing to explain at a time like this.

Reasoning with a woman also depends on the timing.

Just as he took a step out, Barbara’s phone rang again.

”Don’t mess around, let me take this call first.”

Barbara said impatiently.

”You take your call, I’ll do my own thing.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”It’s Florentino!”

Barbara said.

Huang Kaiwen immediately stopped and looked at her.

After a few words, she hung up and said, ”Florentino wants to visit tomorrow. I agreed.”

”Let him come then.”

Huang Kaiwen sighed and said.

What has to come, will come.

After being interrupted by Florentino, Huang Kaiwen was no longer in the mood to fool around.

He went to bed early to sleep.

The next day, he got up early to tidy up his appearance, just to avoid making a fool of himself in front of the new Real Madrid president.

At 10 am, Florentino was ready to visit.

Albert brought him into the living room.

”Mr. Perez!”

Huang Kaiwen greeted.

”No need to be so formal, I’m your loyal fan.”

Florentino said with a smile.

”Better not, after all, you are the club president, and I’m a player.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Florentino didn’t mind and sat down on the sofa on his own.

After Albert served tea, he took a sip and then said, ”Back then, I hoped you would come to play for Real Madrid. I didn’t expect that when I came back, you would already be at Real Madrid. This is truly a pleasant surprise!”

”Thank you for the compliment.”

Huang Kaiwen said calmly.

Since Florentino had not yet stated his purpose, he wasn’t anxious.

Barbara sat quietly on the side.

Because of Florentino, she stayed at home specifically, afraid that Huang Kaiwen would suffer a loss.

”This time I came from Madrid to Milan, besides visiting the best player in the world, I also have some things to discuss with you.”

Florentino said with a smile.

Here we go!

Huang Kaiwen knew the main point was coming up.

”Go ahead.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”I hope you can give up 20% of your image rights to Real Madrid...”

Before Florentino could finish, Barbara stood up and shouted, ”Impossible! Do you know how much Kevin’s image rights are worth?”

Huang Kaiwen held Barbara’s hand, signaling her to sit down and patted her hand a few times to comfort her.

”Sorry, she got a bit emotional. Please continue.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

He just wanted to see what Florentino was up to.

”You should know that Real Madrid’s 55-45 revenue sharing model has been very successful in the football world. Although those players gave 50% of their image rights to Real Madrid, the remaining 50% earned them more than their original 100%.”

Florentino said.

Huang Kaiwen nodded.

This was true.

”So, I hope you can give Real Madrid 20% of your image rights. I won’t specify how much we take in public, making the media think you gave 50% to the club. This still wouldn’t break any rules.”

Florentino looked at Huang Kaiwen with a smile.

His expression said it was all for his good, which made Huang Kaiwen feel disgusted.

Huang Kaiwen straightened his back and said with a smile, ”Mr. Perez, although you make some sense, you should know I’m not Zidane or Ronnie. 20% of my image rights is higher than my salary. Giving 20% of my image rights to Real Madrid is like paying to play.”

”Your salary also comes with high taxes.”

Florentino reminded with a smile: ”And the reason you can earn this much is because you are a Real Madrid player. I asked an accounting firm to estimate your income at AC Milan, which is far less than what you make at Real Madrid. In Europe, only Real Madrid is special. Real Madrid and other clubs...”

”Sorry, Kevin is also special!”

Barbara interrupted: ”Kevin would never give up any of his image rights. The newspapers are clear, Kevin is like Stefano plus Puskas. Is there any player in Real Madrid’s history better than Kevin?”

”That’s where we differ.”

Florentino wasn’t upset, and lightly pressed his hands, saying, ”I didn’t think I could convince Kevin and you. But Barbara, as the club president, you should understand my concerns. Kevin’s salary is much higher than the others, and he holds all his image rights. This will cause resentment among other players. Some agents have contacted me, asking for their players’ image rights back.”

”I don’t understand.”

Barbara said: ”If in Milan, no one would question what Kevin gets. I also don’t believe any Real Madrid player thinks they should get the same treatment as Kevin. Sorry, Mr. Perez, I don’t really believe what you are saying.”

Two years passed.

Although Fininvest wasn’t under the Huang name yet, Barbara had already established herself.

Not to mention directly ousting her elder sister, she was subtly gaining the upper hand.

In front of Be, she was a filial daughter, and she didn’t need to endure any grievances anymore.

If it concerned Huang Kaiwen, if she was pushed, Florentino might end up being robbed and injured on the streets of Milan today. Whether he could return to Madrid safely would depend on her mood.

”Alright then, I’ll put it another way.”

Florentino said with a smile: ”I hope Kevin can take a pay cut. 20 million Euros is a reasonable salary.”

”What?!”

Barbara slammed the table and pointed at Florentino, shouting: ”You want Kevin to take a 50% pay cut? He is only 25, not 35!!!”

”Sit down.”

Huang Kaiwen held Barbara’s hand and said.

Barbara reluctantly sat on the sofa, still fuming as she glared at Florentino.
