After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

[Kane] has good technique, solid ball control, and a strong sense of rhythm.

He shielded the ball well in early confrontations, dropped back to organize in the middle and later stages, showing good physical fitness and a strong sense of the big picture, which is rare among forwards.

His technique isn’t particularly flashy, but his feints and shots in the box are extremely standard.

He’s a typical all-around forward, capable of many things.

But his best position is still behind others, akin to a shadow striker.

It’s good that Yellow Ball King also doesn’t like leading the front.

”Let’s switch positions.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Me? You should be asking the Atletico Madrid kid!”

Guti asked in surprise.

”Kevin, if you want to play forward, I can play on the wing.”

Raul said with a smile.

He had played on the wing and even as a forward at Real Madrid quite a bit.

”No, I’m switching positions with Jose.”

Huang Kaiwen explained with a smile, ”I want to try out more flexible movements. Jose can move in the center and on the left, I’ll move between the forward and attacking midfield positions, and you play as a left winger, moving between the box and the left side. Flexible position switching can really disrupt their defense, and with me switching with the two wingers, Sevilla should have a hard time with us.”

Guti and Raul exchanged glances, not immediately agreeing.

Both were players with a high football IQ, but Huang Kaiwen’s suggestion effectively changed Real Madrid’s formation from 433 to 442, a decision they didn’t dare take lightly.

”Let’s follow Kevin’s plan.”

Capello said, clapping his hands, ”I’ve thought about a similar tactic before, so since Kevin wants to try, let’s go for it.”

Higuain:...

Cassano:...

They suspected that if Huang Kaiwen said to play with three defenders, Capello would agree.

Dammit!

Even though they knew Huang Kaiwen had privileges, witnessing it in person always felt irritating.

Everyone is a player, so why is the gap so big?

”Alright, let’s do as Kevin says.”

Raul put his arm around Huang Kaiwen’s shoulder and said, ”It’s been a while since we’ve played as twin strikers together.”

”Let’s show them some color today.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

With the tactical issue resolved, Capello went to attend the press conference.

The Real Madrid players began to come out for the warm-up.

While juggling and dribbling the ball, Huang Kaiwen felt that he had a similar sense of the ball and technical level to forwards like [Kane] and van Persie, though not by a large margin.

[Kane]’s main strength was his all-around ability, and to maximize that, 442 was the best choice. 433 wasn’t impossible to play, but it required more suitable tactics, like pairing him with a dedicated forward like Son Heung-min for penetration.

”It’s been 25 days since Huang Kaiwen was back in the starting lineup, so could he have been injured?”

”It’s hard to say, but given that Capello has been keeping Huang Kaiwen off the pitch, there must be a reason.”

”Huang Kaiwen tried a couple of long passes, his technique is indeed well-rounded. Inzaghi once said that Huang Kaiwen learned his shooting and offside tactics from him, and Huang Kaiwen’s tackling resembled Nesta. So, his long passing teacher must be Pirlo, right? Hehe.”

”I don’t know who he learned it from, but Huang Kaiwen indeed has no technical weaknesses.”

”What do you think? Young Higuain really has no chance of starting after his red card last time, and he hasn’t been able to start since. Being young is impulsive indeed!”

”It’s a price to pay for growing up, I hope Higuain doesn’t give up and continues training hard to impress Capello. Alright, let’s take a look at the starting line-ups for both sides.”

Sevilla 442 double pivot:

Goalkeeper: Palop,

Defenders: Adriano, Mosquera, David Prieto, Jose Crespo,

Midfielders: Diego Capel, Boulahrouz, Keita, Alves,

Forwards: Fabiano, Kanoute.

Real Madrid 433 double pivot:

Goalkeeper: Casillas,

Defenders: Marcelo, Heinze, Ivanovic, Ramos,

Midfielders: Gago, Guti, De Jong,

Forwards: Huang Kaiwen, Raul, Sneijder.

”Alves has received a lot of criticism since the UEFA Super Cup, now he appears on the wing today, heh, he should be fine playing as a winger with his abilities.”

”Yes, Manolo Jimenez must have had his thoughts. It’s normal to bring in a defensively stronger full-back. Juan de Ramos’s sudden switch to coaching Tottenham Hotspur didn’t leave Sevilla much time to react, but now it seems Jimenez is doing quite well in the coaching role.”

”Right, hehe, Sevilla’s full-backs are quite interesting, with Adriano on the left and Crespo on the right. However, these two aren’t the Inter Milan forwards; they just share the last name. This Crespo is a Spanish defender.”

Real or not, the names of Sevilla’s full-backs are intimidating.

And Manolo Jimenez, who took over from Juan de Ramos, had a sinking feeling when he saw Huang Kaiwen’s positioning.

Normally, Huang Kaiwen would stand on the left at kickoff, but now Guti was on the left, and Huang Kaiwen was at the center circle, kicking off the game with Raul!

Crespo was the one he specifically had in mind to handle Huang Kaiwen; he’s a defender whose center-back attributes exceed his full-back potential. If Huang Kaiwen wasn’t playing on a wing, all his arrangements would be wasted.

Whistle—

The cold sword doesn’t drop its flower, the bright bow outshines the morning moon.

The field is a battlefield, and not for a moment can one relax.

As the whistle blew, the players from both sides had not yet fully entered the game state.

Raul gently pushed the ball forward from the center line.

Standing behind the center line, Huang Kaiwen swung his arm, his right foot whipped fiercely against the bottom side of the ball.

Bang—

The ball skimmed the center line and rose swiftly into the air, almost like a streak of light shooting straight for Sevilla’s box.
