After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Cassano is exactly that kind of contradiction.

What Huang Kaiwen didn’t expect was that Cassano actually had quite an admiration for Yellow Ball King.

Sigh.

Even though that kind of life might seem good from Cassano’s perspective,

Huang Kaiwen felt that he still needed to change Cassano’s life a bit.

It’s normal not to want to offend the leadership, and Cassano’s words wouldn’t change anything even if he spoke up.

Huang Kaiwen wouldn’t hold a grudge against Cassano over such a matter.

On the contrary, since Cassano was so eager to beat him, Huang Kaiwen felt a little guilty.

He should find an opportunity to let Cassano win a few times, so his competitive spirit doesn’t ruin Cassano’s marriage prospects; that guy’s future wife seems quite virtuous, always staunchly supporting him from behind.

Then there was the matter of the other teammates.

If Florentino really planned to target Yellow Ball King after his return to power, Huang Kaiwen would advise them not to speak out.

Florentino wasn’t someone who would change his decisions because of their words.

For people like Guti and Raul, who wanted to retire at Real Madrid, there was no need to upset themselves.

For his good brother Ramos, there was nothing that could be done.

If he couldn’t be persuaded, he could just leave with Yellow Ball King.

Huang Kaiwen was also curious about something; with his current frequency of play, the ”Immunity Card” indeed wasn’t enough. But who had the ability to keep Yellow Ball King on the sidelines for a long time?

With ”Injury Mastery” and enough luck, it wasn’t easy for Yellow Ball King to be seriously hurt; the kind of offense that could keep him away from the field for an extended period must be very serious.

He wondered whether it was an upper or lower body injury.

If it were a lower body injury, he could buy a team during his recovery and participate in professional CS competitions in a wheelchair.

It doesn’t matter if his skill level is a bit lower, as long as his teammates are strong.

Yellow Ball King has always carried others; it’s about time he was carried a bit, right?

With his fame, those professional players would probably welcome him to participate in the competitions.

Would a serious injury affect his professional career?

Huang Kaiwen wasn’t worried at all.

When the time comes and the new template changes, it’s a brand new start; it amounts to being uninjured when you round it off.

After receiving quite a few rewards and feeling good about it, Yellow Ball King decided to reward himself when Calderon called again.

”Kevin, we’ve sorted out our transfer targets for the summer, as well as part of the purge list; do you want to take a look?” Calderon asked from the other end of the phone.

”Forget it, as long as the coach has no objections, I have no objections,”

Huang Kaiwen replied.

For the same reason as before, Huang Kaiwen didn’t want to get too involved with Real Madrid’s transfers.

He, Huang, was not like those club executives who took kickbacks.

”We’ve arranged the summer training camp in Asia, including a trip to China; what do you think? If you don’t like it, we have a backup plan,” Calderon asked again.

”I think it’s great, there’s really no need to ask me,”

Huang Kaiwen replied.

Who would think of changing the training camp location when the summer transfer window was about to start?

Changing the region for the training camp would not yield much better results than last year’s trip to Austria.

”What about the contract extension then?”

”Barbara is in full charge of the contract renewal; I’ll not interfere,”

Huang Kaiwen said and then hung up the phone.

The lady was fighting for his interests; with Yellow Ball King playing so much this season, it was impossible for him to ask for a cut in his contract demands.

Shortly after hanging up, Huang Kaiwen received a call from Capello.

The Real Madrid coach was planning a trip to China and asked Huang Kaiwen a few questions before hanging up voluntarily.

Huang Kaiwen, fearing more calls would come in,

turned off his phone and finally got a good night’s sleep.

The next afternoon.

When Huang Kaiwen got up and opened the door, he found Inzaghi sitting outside.

”We’re supposed to be good brothers, Paul and the others went on vacation and I stayed in Barcelona to accompany you, but you turned off your phone and didn’t even open the door for me!” Inzaghi complained like a machine gun.

He lifted his foot to enter the house, but Huang Kaiwen stopped him at the door with his hand.

Huang Kaiwen said, ”It’s inconvenient with a lady present.”

”I forgot about that; you haven’t eaten yet, right? Let’s go eat, and we can discuss where to go on vacation,”

Inzaghi suggested.

”I still have some things coming up; I need to participate in a competition,”

Huang Kaiwen shook his head as he spoke.

”What kind of competition?”

Inzaghi inquired.

Was it indoor soccer or some kind of commemorative match? Why hadn’t he been invited to the commemorative match?

”A Snooker professional qualification contest!”

”Are you fucking with me?”

Inzaghi stood still, grabbing Huang Kaiwen’s shoulders and shaking him as he yelled, ”Are you planning to leave the green field to poke balls with a little stick all day? Even if you like snooker, you don’t need to play professionally; that sport earns much less than soccer.”

Huang Kaiwen freed himself from Inzaghi’s hands, wrapped his arm around him, and walked together toward the restaurant saying, ”I don’t have any immediate plans to go pro; I just want to get the professional qualification, you get it?”

”Okay, I get it,”

Inzaghi said grumpily, ”You gave me a scare, but obtaining professional qualification isn’t easy, right?”

”It shouldn’t be too hard,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

He had considered it before.

Beyond football, where else could he develop his talents?

Tennis and Go were completely out of the question; the top players in those fields were too talented.

Even if he had the talent of a Federer or a Lee Sedol, catching up with their early accumulations would be difficult, and he’d be lucky to compete at the top after 5 or 10 years of experience and skill development.

Moreover, Huang Kaiwen didn’t think he possessed that kind of talent.
