After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

”Okay!”

Ramos said with a nod and a smile.

...

Later that day.

Huang Kaiwen took Ramos and flew back to Milan City.

The other teammates only had a week off, so there was no need for them to follow him around.

Cassano and Guti were likely to spend their time on nightlife, possibly even securing the front page of ”Marca.”

De Jong didn’t require any concern from Huang Kaiwen.

Only Ramos had a longer vacation, and Huang Kaiwen took the opportunity to cheer up his good buddy to prevent any psychological scars.

Upon returning to Milan, the first thing he did was to see Giovanni Nanni for an examination despite the overtime.

”You’re lucky you didn’t get injured again during the Spain national derby,” Giovanni Nanni said with a smile.

He carefully checked but found no issues with Huang Kaiwen’s brain, although he still issued a concussion certificate.

Nanni had witnessed firsthand how Huang Kaiwen had feigned a serious injury after the UEFA Champions League against Werder Bremen to put pressure on Werder Bremen and the German Football Association.

Giovanni Nanni thought Huang Kaiwen’s actions were entirely justified.

If such fouls could endanger life, Huang Kaiwen being unharmed was just good luck; it should not absolve the fouling player.

What if one day his luck ran out, and he died on the field?

You can’t forgive a gunman simply because the bullet got stuck in your lighter.

Giovanni Nanni advised, ”Kevin, if you don’t love football passionately, you might consider switching to less aggressive sports. Given your physical condition and learning ability, making a transition would be easy. The fouls against you in football are too much. I see in matches you are constantly falling and getting up, over and over. They’re becoming more aggressive with their fouls, and you can’t guarantee that you will always be lucky. You only live once, and staying alive is what’s most important.”

”Yeah, my dear!” the missus nodded and said, ”I think football is too barbaric for you. You should try some more elegant sports.”

”Forget it, I haven’t thought about leaving the field yet,” Huang Kaiwen shook his head and said, ”Thank you for your concern, Giovanni.”

On the way back.

Kaka, concerned, said, ”Kevin, I know you love football. But I think the team doctor is right—the defenders are too rough with you. Everyone seems intent on breaking your legs. Even if you don’t switch careers, you need to be more cautious.”

”Don’t worry, I will make them aware of the consequences!”

Ramos, sitting in the front seat, turned back and said.

”You all stop worrying about me,” Huang Kaiwen said with a smile. ”Every sport comes with risks, and I can’t run away just because I’m afraid. If one day I leave the field, it would be because I grew tired of winning championships every season, not because I am scared!”

Ramos, sitting in the front seat, listened with admiration shining in his eyes as he looked at Huang Kaiwen’s face through the rearview mirror.

He admired this version of Huang Kaiwen.

Kaka and Barbara in the back seat reacted similarly.

The rest of the ride back was quite quiet.

After a simple dinner, the visiting Kaka and Ramos went to sleep in the guest room.

Before going to bed, the missus said, ”The Spanish newspapers are all reporting about you playing with injuries. Next, I’ll have the Italian media and mainstream European countries cover it too.”

”You handle it,” Huang Kaiwen said as he turned and lay on top of the missus.

The missus glared at him, wanting to turn over and be on top.

But remembering Huang Kaiwen’s previous injury, she dared not struggle.

The next morning, Kaka went to Milanello for training.

After lunch.

Ramos followed Huang Kaiwen and the missus as they boarded a private jet to America.

Coincidentally, Real Madrid’s next match was on March 18.

That day was also Lily Collins’ eighteenth birthday.
