After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

”It’s really been too much trouble for you all.”

Gil Tavorman said to the young miss.

Tavorman was an actor and the second wife of British rock star Phil Collins.

Lily Collins was her and Phil Collins’s daughter.

During the autograph session,

the young miss caught Huang Kaiwen’s eye and approached Lily and her mother to strike up a conversation.

After the signing, she invited them to watch a soccer game together.

”Not a trouble at all, not in the slightest,” the young miss said with a smile, ”Just having the bodyguards switch places to watch the game is nothing troublesome. I’ve always loved your movies, never thought I’d actually meet you today.”

Huang Kaiwen gave the young miss an approving look.

As a mature club president, his ability to lie had grown stronger, and Gil Tavorman had no work at all, even if he remembered so well, he couldn’t think of any.

The young miss raised her eyebrows proudly and completed a silent communication with Huang Kaiwen.

She was eager for a new teammate, though this one came with a mother, so each would handle one.

”Gil, earlier you mentioned you are the president of the Beverly Hills Women’s Club, that’s really great. I’ve always wanted to buy a house in Beverly Hills,”

the young miss said half-truthfully.

With all her business in Italy, even if she bought a house, she couldn’t stay there often.

Huang Kaiwen wouldn’t be likely to go there to play soccer either.

”If a suitable property comes up for sale, I could give you a call, Barbara,” Gil Tavorman said.

”That would be wonderful, I’ve been wanting to expand my business in America, and LA is definitely a suitable choice. Recently, my workload has been growing, a TV station, a soccer team, an online shopping platform, and a charity foundation, I even have to work over the phone during this vacation at night,”

the young miss said with a laugh.

Gil Tavorman took the bait and asked with interest, ”That’s really great, many people in LA are enthusiastic about charity, my neighbors often attend charity galas, they are very compassionate. If you’re interested I could help you organize a charity event.”

”That would be more than wonderful, Kevin initially said that as a person who became rich first, it’s necessary to do more for this world,”

”The world needs responsible people like you, I haven’t met any young person more outstanding than you,”

Gil Tavorman turned to Huang Kaiwen and said.

”That’s too kind of you, Ms. Tavorman,” Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”Call me Gil!”

”I’d better not, Ms. Tavorman,”

Huang Kaiwen said, shaking his head in refusal.

We must stick to formalities.

Not dwelling on the title, Gil Tavorman, watching the players warming up, asked, ”Kevin, who do you think will win today?”

”England!”

Huang Kaiwen said without hesitation.

”That’s great, I’ve placed a bet earlier.”

”Then you’re set to win, Ms. Tavorman. Are you a fan of England?” Huang Kaiwen asked.

”My mother has English and German ancestry, but I’m not much into soccer. Lily insisted on coming to your signing, that’s the only reason we came to Germany. Watching the World Cup was just incidental,” Gil Tavorman said.

”That’s truly an honor and to think such a beautiful fan is here,”

Huang Kaiwen said, looking down with a smile.

The seating arrangement was interesting—Huang Kaiwen and the young miss sat in the middle, Lily Collins next to Huang Kaiwen, and her mother next to the young miss.

”I, I was born in England, it’s normal for me to like soccer!”

Lily looked up at Huang Kaiwen and defended.

”You never watched soccer before Kevin went to AC Milan,” Gil Tavorman said mercilessly exposing her.

”Mom~!”

Lily protested in dissatisfaction.

Then seeing Huang Kaiwen’s smiling face, Lily defended, ”I just suddenly started liking soccer.”

”Hmm hmm,”

Huang Kaiwen said, helping to defuse the situation, ”Sometimes I suddenly become interested in things too. When I was young I learned drawing, but found it boring, recently I got interested again.”

”Exactly, just like that,”

Lily Collins said, nodding vigorously with wide eyes.

The game on the field started.

Huang Kaiwen focused on the game, and Lily Collins watched the game for a while before looking up at Huang Kaiwen. Noticing Huang Kaiwen had seen her, she quickly turned her head back to the field.

Gil Tavorman and Barbara noticed this.

Gil Tavorman said indulgently, ”Don’t mind it, little girls are like that.”

”It’s fine, I don’t mind at all, I really like Lily, and if she likes Kevin, I wouldn’t mind either,” the young miss said with a smile.

Gil Tavorman nodded with a smile, thinking the young miss was joking, and continued discussing business matters with her.

Being an unknown actress, aside from getting alimony from her ex-husband, she also had her own business; otherwise, she couldn’t maintain this kind of luxurious life where she could get up and go watch the World Cup on a whim.

Just the annual property fees in Beverly Hills were substantial.

Along with various other expenses, she needed at least six to seven figures a year; the life of the rich was so unpretentiously luxurious.

Hearing the young miss talking about expanding her business in the United States,

and some ideas in Madrid and Milan,

Gil Tavorman was very interested, kept chatting with the young miss to see if there was any possibility of collaborating.

The relationship between the two women progressed rapidly, but the game on the field was still without much progress.

England, having the upper hand, still hadn’t scored, 0:0 going into halftime.

Huang Kaiwen stood up to buy snacks.
