After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

At the same time UEFA released their announcement,

Huang Kaiwen received a prompt.

[Ding, a perfect performance, successfully evaded punishment. The system will now update to the ’I Am the Soccer King System Deluxe Edition V1.2’. This update will be non-stop, with an estimated update time of 168 hours.]

Huang Kaiwen quickly opened the UEFA official website.

He indeed succeeded.

The red card was cancelled.

That’s what Huang Kaiwen thought.

It made no sense that his grandson could succeed and he, Huang Kaiwen, couldn’t.

Besides, the lady had even paid Platini.

Taking money and not doing the work means facing the consequences.

Wait until evening.

Seeing Kaka log into the game,

Huang Kaiwen hurriedly shared the good news with Kaka.

Kaka was extremely happy upon hearing it.

He suggested they both go to Zombie Cave and bully some low-level players.

Of course, Huang Kaiwen wouldn’t refuse.

In the early days,

the Corpse King’s Palace in ”Legend” was the place to farm level 35 class Skill Books, which at the time could cost hundreds or even thousands, equivalent to a month’s salary.

The competition for the Zombie Cave’s boss, the Corpse King, was fierce.

But with version updates,

those class skill books could be bought in bookstores.

Only those who were AFK mining and low-level players leveling up remained in the Zombie Cave.

Both players were decked out in excellent equipment.

And both had high levels.

Going to Zombie Cave to hit players wasn’t much more difficult than hitting monsters.

”He’s running, Kevin,” came Kaka’s urging voice over the chat.

”Don’t worry, the poison will kill him,”

Huang Kaiwen confidently said.

Sure enough, the player didn’t get far before he exploded into loot.

Before long,

more and more people came to the Zombie Cave.

Huang Kaiwen took one look,

and realized a guild had come for revenge.

After holding out for a while, Huang Kaiwen felt something was off. They were outnumbered, and he teleported away in an instant.

But then came Kaka’s crying voice over the chat.

”Kevin, my Dragon Slayer dropped.”

”Dropped when you died?”

”Yeah.”

Kaka sounded very depressed.

He had only just managed to get that weapon, and today it was lost in a player kill.

The charm of ”Legend” was just like that.

You could lose your equipment upon death.

That’s what fueled so much love, hate, and drama.

Huang Kaiwen laughed and said, ”Don’t worry, I’ll get it back for you, okay?”

”Really?!”

”Really!”

Huang Kaiwen picked up his phone and made a call.

Even though it was still the middle of the night in China,

Shanda’s staff were still quick to respond.

Five minutes later, his game disconnected.

Logging onto the ”Legend” official website, he saw the announcement: A major game bug had occurred on Server 2 at night. An emergency fix is underway with an estimated completion time of 1 hour. Rollback will occur after the fix.

Huang Kaiwen smirked.

In the end, it was still the one with authority who had the last laugh.

...

The next day,

the morning of August 28th.

It had been two days since the UEFA Super Cup,

but the topic was still hot.

When Huang Kaiwen got up, he saw that the newspapers were still mostly covering the Super Cup.

They also mentioned the UEFA’s decision.

In the corner of the newspaper,

Huang Kaiwen noticed a piece of news that caught his interest.

”15-year-old prodigy debuts in the professional league, claims he’ll match Kevin sooner or later”.

That sort of statement wasn’t a problem.

There were many new football XXs.

Huang Kaiwen had long since become indifferent, he had even seen someone dubbed ’ten times Messi’.

But what surprised Huang Kaiwen was the boy in the photo.

A black player.

Boy was a more accurate term.

There aren’t many black people in Italy.

The least among Western European countries.

Still, having had colonies in Africa, there were some.

Even black players could occasionally be seen.

The key was this black boy.

With a wise smile and striking white teeth.

Seeing him mention himself, Huang Kaiwen subconsciously looked back, worried that his own bathroom might be on fire.

He was fine.

Why would he be targeted by Balotelli?

Normal people would be afraid of being targeted by Balotelli.

Let’s not end up as teammates one day.

F**k!

It seems Balotelli really might become his teammate.

Seeing this news,

Huang Kaiwen didn’t feel good at all.

”Dear, what are you daydreaming about? We should head out,” said the lady as she walked toward the door to remind him.

Huang Kaiwen looked at Barbara and asked, ”The match is in the afternoon, why are we leaving so early?”

”We’re going to see a psychologist. It took a lot of effort to get the appointment.”

”I’m not going, I’m not sick,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a frown, shaking his head.

”Okay, okay, you’re not sick,” the lady said indulgently, like she was coaxing a child. ”Even though you’re not sick, the pressure is very high for professional footballers. It’s good to see a psychologist for some counseling to relieve some stress, right? I even know of a German footballer who killed himself.”

Huang Kaiwen nodded helplessly.

Having said that, he had no way to refuse the lady.

...

In the afternoon,

Huang Kaiwen and Barbara,

joined by Beatrice and some of the team’s family members, were preparing to watch the game together.

Before they even entered San Siro,

a reporter sprung up and began snapping pictures of them.

”Kevin, some say you went to see a psychologist this morning, do you have a psychological problem?” the reporter asked, blocking their way.

”Kevin is not taking interviews right now,” the lady said, shielding Huang Kaiwen behind her, her tone unfriendly.

”So Kevin does have a psychological problem, right?”

”Get lost!”

With the lady’s curse,

the bodyguards who were following quickly escorted the reporter away from the parking lot.

”The public has the right to know, you’re obstructing the freedom of the press...”

The faces of the few people there were none too pleased.

Adriana, the wife of the horse team, said angrily, ”These reporters really have no humanity; they still want to dig up news on Kevin.”

”They are a bunch of assholes!” Beatrice nodded in agreement. ”Ever since my relationship with Ricardo was exposed, I’ve often had reporters harass my teachers and classmates.”

”They’ll get taught a lesson sooner or later!”

Barbara glared at the retreating back of the reporter, her voice filled with venom.

Today the psychologist had recommended that Kevin rest for a while.
