Chapter 2265: Chapter 2264: God Driving Spell and Soul Command

In the following time, Lin Dong stayed in the first class cabin to meditate and cultivate his mental power.

He used his mental power to communicate with the Sovereign Witch.

”Our Witch Path has a kind of spell called ’Soul Commanding Technique’. It can drive spirits and souls. This time, when you go to destroy those shrines in Yinghua Country, if you encounter suitable spirits and souls, you can use this spell to capture them.”

”Afterward, they can be used by you. If you can capture the spirit and soul of a Heavenly Realm Martial Artist from the Ninth Heaven, its combat power would be enough to fight a Heavenly Realm Martial Artist from the First Heaven!”

”This is not a small addition to your current combat power.”

The Sovereign Witch had not previously taught this spell to Lin Dong.

Firstly, because the spirits and souls of Heavenly Realm Martial Artists are hard to find. Secondly, at first, she had some reservations about Lin Dong.

She feared he might be the kind of wicked person who, if he learned this ’Soul Commanding Technique’, might attempt to refine her.

Now, she need not worry about that. Having been with Lin Dong for so long, she was completely confident in his character.

He certainly would not attempt to refine her now.

Upon hearing about this spell, Lin Dong was naturally tempted.

Although he had previously cultivated ’Demon Shadow’ and had Shadow, an unconditional companion, it was only one.

Moreover, its combat prowess was incomparable to that of a true Heavenly Realm Martial Artist.

If he truly encountered several Heavenly Realm Martial Artists attacking at once, the ’Demon Shadow’ clearly wouldn’t suffice.

If he could learn the ’Soul Commanding Technique’ and capture a Ninth Heaven spirit and soul for his own use, it would be a substantial enhancement for him.

”I will now teach you this spell...” After saying this, the Sovereign Witch began teaching Lin Dong the cultivation technique for the ’Soul Commanding Technique’.

To successfully cultivate this witchcraft technique, a foundation in sorcery is necessary.

If there’s no foundation in sorcery, the technique may take decades to master.

But with a foundation in sorcery, cultivation becomes much easier.

Lin Dong naturally had a foundation in sorcery, being proficient in various basic witch texts of the Witch Path. Utilizing these texts for engraving witch arrays or practicing witchcraft was a breeze for him.

During the flight, Lin Dong thoroughly studied the witch texts for the ’Soul Commanding Technique’.

”However, to truly master the Soul Commanding Technique, aside from knowing how to wield the corresponding witch texts, a soul instrument to hold the spirit and soul is also required!”

”This soul instrument is somewhat troublesome.”

The Dragon Ring Lin Dong wore could act as a ’soul instrument’, storing spirits and souls.

The spirit of the Sovereign Witch resided in the Dragon Ring, for example.

However, the soul instrument for the ’Soul Commanding Technique’ was different, as it needed to carry spirits that could fight at any moment and be completely under his control, with no independent thoughts.

The instrument must be engraved with the appropriate witch texts, in order for these texts to command it.

”Finding a bone from a Heavenly Realm Martial Artist, or a bone from a Demon King Level monster beast might work. Engraving the corresponding witch texts on it could possibly produce a witch bone. This witch bone could serve as the instrument’s vessel.” The Sovereign Witch suggested.

Lin Dong said, ”A bone from a Heavenly Realm Martial Artist? Unfortunately, the previous Lin Sumei is gone without a trace, leaving no bone behind.”

”As for a Demon King Level monster beast’s bone, I haven’t collected any. I did have a Drought-Maiden Horn before, but the Yin Energy inside has been absorbed by me.”

”Is a simple Drought-Maiden Horn sufficient to act as the instrument’s vessel?”

Lin Dong asked the Sovereign Witch.

Previously, while in Southborne, he had auctioned for a Drought-Maiden Horn.

The Drought Demon is a being even more terrifying than a Nine-star monster beast, and naturally, its horn contains exceedingly terrifying Yin Energy.

At that time, Lin Dong refined the Yin Energy from the Drought-Maiden Horn, greatly enhancing his strength. Due to the horn’s fire attribute, his Alchemy Fire also upgraded in the refining process, turning into Purple-gold Alchemy Fire.

That horn was extremely tough, and Lin Dong naturally wouldn’t refine the horn itself, only the Yin Energy inside.

The horn still remained in the Dragon Ring, as Lin Dong hadn’t disposed of it, keeping it there all along.

The thing’s toughness, comparable to Dragon Bone.

Even the Yangxin Sword couldn’t cut it.

The Sovereign Witch, upon hearing Lin Dong’s question, replied uncertainly:

”I have previously crafted vessels to contain the ’Soul Commanding Technique’ using monster beast bones or Heavenly Realm Martial Artist bones.”

”I haven’t used a Drought-Maiden Horn for this purpose. You can try it.”

”If successful, I guess the effect might be better than bone!”

”Because the Yin attribute of the Drought-Maiden Horn surpasses that of Nine-star monster beast and Heavenly Realm Martial Artist bones.”

Hearing that the Sovereign Witch was also uncertain, Lin Dong could only proceed with a trial mindset to attempt it when the time came.

He wasn’t about to undertake the task immediately.

Being on the airplane made it evidently inconvenient.

He planned to find a place after landing where he could attempt this.

The airplane flew for several more hours, finally reaching the Capital, Yinghua Country’s airport.

After disembarking, Lin Dong took the special passage and exited the airport.

This time, Lin Dong came to Yinghua Country extremely low-key.

He didn’t notify anyone.

Lin Dong now had various forces under him. These forces, although incomparable to the Hidden Clan, were nonetheless formidable in the secular Martial Arts World.

Just the Longmen was an incredibly powerful force!

He also subdued several international powers, like some major conglomerates in Paocai Nation.

In Yinghua Country, last time he subdued several big families, like Toyotomi Quyin from the Toyotomi Clan.

Now, they serve Lin Dong!

During Lin Dong’s last visit to Yinghua Country, he slaughtered the Clan Chiefs of the eight major martial arts clans of Yinghua Country. He supported Toyotomi Quyin from the Toyotomi Clan, appointing them as the spokesperson for the Toyotomi Clan.

He also instructed her to consolidate the remnants of other family’s forces.

Currently, Toyotomi Quyin is a significant presence in Yinghua Country’s Martial Arts World.

Nonetheless, Lin Dong didn’t inform her of this visit to Yinghua Country.

After having experienced betrayal from individuals like Gong Fan, Lin Dong wouldn’t fully trust Toyotomi Quyin.

If she leaked his whereabouts, it would undoubtedly complicate Lin Dong’s subsequent efforts.

He was ready to head towards the first shrine belonging to the Qingye Clan’s ’Susanoo Shrine’.

But at this moment, not far from the airport door, a commotion was occurring.

As Lin Dong looked over there, he saw Guo Hai, Guo Xin, and Shi Feng, whom he had just met on the plane, apparently caught in some trouble.

They were surrounded by a group of martial artists!
