Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 2262: Chapter 2261: Saving a Life!

After this small episode passed, Lin Dong didn’t think much of it.

At this moment, he closed his eyes again in meditation, cultivating his mental power.

Very soon, the airplane began to take off.

About half an hour later, it passed the ascent phase and reached high altitude.

However, at this time, the airplane encountered turbulence and began to shake.

Subsequently, a commotion came from over in the economy class.

Lin Dong emerged again from his state of meditation and heard a woman’s voice shouting over in economy class.

”Grandpa, Grandpa, are you okay? Don’t scare me.”

It turned out that during the turbulence, the elderly man’s illness flared up, causing him to lose consciousness.

This scene clearly frightened Guo Xin.

And the flight attendants on the plane also gathered around, one of them hurriedly asking, ”Is there a doctor?”

”Is there a doctor?”

At this time, someone raised a hand and said, ”I’m a doctor.”

”Please come and save him.” The flight attendant hurriedly said to that person.

The person nodded, realizing there was no other way. On the plane, there weren’t any medical instruments, examination instruments. But he could only try.

He stepped forward to give the elderly man CPR.

However, the situation with the elderly man was clearly not that simple.

His attempt at CPR didn’t awaken the elderly man.

Seeing this, Guo Xin shouted, ”Trash, you mainland doctors are trash!”

The doctor who tried to help felt a bit embarrassed. He explained, ”Mainly because there are no medical instruments, I can’t determine the patient’s exact condition.”

”You can’t diagnose without instruments? Aren’t you trash?” Guo Xin scolded.

The doctor felt even more embarrassed.

Guo Xin turned to the crowd and asked, ”Are there any other doctors? As long as you can awaken my grandfather, our Wei family will give you one million!”

One million?

This is a considerable amount of money for ordinary people.

However, there were no other doctors present.

Seeing this, Guo Xin was even more anxious. He said to the flight attendants, ”Find a nearby location for an emergency landing quickly.”

”Send my grandfather to the hospital!”

The flight attendants nodded, preparing to report this matter to the captain.

But at this moment, a voice rang out.

”I can awaken your grandfather.”

As soon as the voice was heard, everyone’s gaze turned toward the direction of the voice.

With this look, they discovered it was Lin Dong.

Lin Dong walked over from the first class cabin.

Even though the plane was now lightly shaking, when he walked over from the first class cabin, he appeared steady and composed.

Initially, upon hearing a voice claim to awaken her grandfather, Guo Xin was quite happy. However, upon seeing it was Lin Dong, her expression immediately changed.

She said bluntly, ”You’re not a doctor, how can you save my grandfather?”

”Saying you lack vision and insight, saying you’re beneath them, is already elevating you. Now you’re coming out and pretending to be a doctor?”

”Is it because of the one million reward I just mentioned? Earlier when I offered to swap seats, you behaved as if money was dirt. I thought you had more integrity.”

”Upon hearing one million, did your eyes turn red?”

Hearing her words, Lin Dong frowned and said, ”If I don’t rescue this old man now, he won’t last five minutes.”

”From here to the nearest city for an emergency landing, it’ll take at least half an hour. Plus, going from the airport to the hospital requires time. With such a long time, by the time you get there, the person will be gone.”

”And even if he was sent to the hospital in time, an ordinary hospital wouldn’t be able to save him.”

Upon hearing Lin Dong’s words, although they were hard to listen to, Guo Xin also knew that what Lin Dong said was very likely true.

Beside her, the bodyguard Shi Feng spoke, ”Miss, how about letting him try?”

”What does he understand about medicine!” Guo Xin, due to the prior seat-swapping incident, held a bias against Lin Dong.

She naturally didn’t believe that this ’beneath them’ mainland man was a Divine Doctor capable of awakening her grandfather.

”There’s no other way, so just let him try. Although what he said earlier was a bit harsh, it made sense. Sending him to the hospital now simply won’t make it. Miss...” Shi Feng said again.

Seeing this, Guo Xin asked Lin Dong, ”You say you can save my grandfather, are you a doctor? Let me ask you, which hospital are you a doctor at? Do you have a medical practicing certificate? Show me.”

Lin Dong frowned and said, ”I don’t have the medical practicing certificate you’re talking about, and I’m not employed as a doctor at any hospital right now. But I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, and I can use acupuncture to wake your grandfather.”

Upon hearing this, Guo Xin said dismissively, ”Traditional Chinese Medicine? Deceiving ghosts? That stuff isn’t scientific and definitely can’t save anyone!”

Lin Dong didn’t bother wasting words with her and ignored her, instead looking at the bodyguard Shi Feng and asked:

”Do you want me to make a move?”

Shi Feng gritted his teeth and said, ”Okay, go ahead and save him.”

He was more rational than Guo Xin, and realized that now they could only ’try to make a dead horse live.’ After all, they were on a plane, and rushing to a hospital was completely unrealistic.

Lin Dong, upon hearing this, finally walked over to the elderly man.

The reason he was willing to step in to save the old man was partly due to the doctor’s benevolent heart.

Additionally, he didn’t want the plane to suddenly change course, wasting his time.

Also, although Guo Xin was very rude, the old man was actually quite polite. Since Lin Dong encountered him, he didn’t want to see him dying before his eyes.

As a doctor, no one likes to see a patient die right before their eyes, no matter how bothersome their family might be.

At this moment, Lin Dong walked up to the old man, taking out several silver needles.

At this moment, Guo Xin said again, ”Brother Shi Feng, if he can’t bring my grandfather back to life later and causes my grandfather to die, you make a move and just kill him for me. Make him pay with his life for my grandfather!”

Upon hearing this, Shi Feng said, ”Killing him is a bit excessive, isn’t it? Destroying him should be enough?”

”No, he must be killed. Make him pay with his life for my grandfather!”

She truly is a talent, with a peculiar way of thinking.

This was clearly her grandfather’s illness flaring up, and Lin Dong kindly stepped in to try and save his life. If he couldn’t succeed, she actually wanted to kill Lin Dong to ’pay with his life for her grandfather.’

This is simply absurd!

Even the bodyguard Shi Feng couldn’t bear to listen anymore, failing to provide a definitive response.

At this moment, Lin Dong, after taking out the silver needles, began to apply them.

Using Qi, Lin Dong drove two silver needles into the old man’s body.

Then began to channel his Qi.

This was a needle from the Taiyi Yin-yang Divine Needle, called ’Yin-Yang Dual Qi Needle,’ using this method, he could awaken the old man.

Of course, for a cure, it would require other needle techniques and also require medicinal prescriptions.

Right now, Lin Dong was only intending to wake him up to pass this emergency moment, so he used the ’Yin-Yang Dual Qi Needle’ from the Taiyi Yin-yang Divine Needle.

Seeing Lin Dong apply the needles, the bodyguard Shi Feng felt deeply shocked internally.

”Controlling Needles with Qi, Controlling Needles with Qi, could this person be a Master?”

”A Master so young?”

”Impossible, absolutely impossible...”

Guo Xin impatiently said, ”I don’t think he’s a doctor at all. With two silver needles, he can wake my grandfather? How’s that possible!”

”Brother Shi Feng, make a move. Quickly kill him! Make him accompany my grandfather in death!”
