Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1972: Chapter 1971: The Theory of Wind and Water

After the sect leader of the Brahman sect headed eastward, the Holy Emperor, Ksitigarbha, Blood Earl, and others turned to look at Qin Feng.

”Master Qin, where should we go?”

Qin Feng glanced in the direction of the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song, then laughed and said, ”Little Holy Monk, where do you think we should go?”

This Buddha Demon Heavenly Song was knowledgeable, having read many ancient books in the Ten Thousand Buddhas Path’s Sutra Library.

Following him might quickly lead them to the entrance of the Hidden Dragon Cave.

Therefore, Qin Feng contemplated accompanying him.

Not only him, but many others also looked toward the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song.

The Buddha Demon Heavenly Song put his hands together and smiled slightly, saying, ”This Hidden Dragon Superior was a person of the Dragon Country. In the Dragon Country, whether emperors and ministers or ordinary people, or martial artists, they hope to be buried in a Feng Shui Treasure Land after death.”

”Those who understand Feng Shui are especially inclined to base their burial sites on Feng Shui principles.”

His words puzzled many, especially the martial artists from the West.

”Feng Shui, what is Feng Shui?” Audrey asked with a confused look.

As she spoke, she couldn’t help but look toward Lin Dong and inquire, ”Brother Dong Lin, you are also from the Dragon Country. Do you know what Feng Shui is?”

Hearing this, Lin Dong smiled and explained, ”Feng Shui is an essential part of our Dragon Country’s traditional culture.”

”It mainly studies forms like residential bases and burial sites. It also looks into the direction of land veins, mountains and water, and the flow of spiritual energy and Yin energy.”

”Feng Shui believes that a good residential base can bring good fortune to the living and nourish their bodies.”

”And a good Yin dwelling can protect the descendants if the ancestors are buried there.”

”Some Feng Shui can be arranged to attract good fortune, avoid bad luck, ensure safety, and pray for blessings, wealth, or offspring through Feng Shui layouts and formations.”

”Burial site Feng Shui is particularly crucial in our Dragon Country’s Feng Shui theory. Since Emperor Qin, the construction of each emperor’s mausoleum involved burial Feng Shui.”

”In the martial arts world, those with great ability tend to choose a Feng Shui Treasure Land to live out their final years before falling. After death, they are directly buried in this Feng Shui Treasure Land.”

”This not only nourishes their spirit and soul to continue in the river of history but also blesses future generations.”

”As for Feng Shui masters, in our ancient Dragon Country times, they were considered a kind of cultivator. If one reaches the highest level, they could peer into the mysteries of the heavens above and use the masses as pawns below, altering the world’s structure.”

Hearing Lin Dong’s explanation, Audrey couldn’t help but exclaim, ”No wonder the Dragon Country is the birthplace of martial arts; they actually have such magical things.”

The other Western martial artists, hearing Lin Dong’s explanation, couldn’t help but marvel at the vastness of the Dragon Country’s cultivation culture.

The Buddha Demon Heavenly Song also regarded Lin Dong highly, laughingly said, ”Brother Dong seems to have quite a bit of research on Feng Shui?”

Lin Dong laughed, ”There are some records of Feng Shui in the ancient books my master left for me.”

”Oh? Brother Dong’s master appears to be a Transcendent Outsider,” the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song said with a profound look at Lin Dong, smiling.

Lin Dong remained unchanged in expression and said, ”Of course, my master is a Cloud-wandering Immortal. He casually left me some cultivation secret manuals, and I followed them to enter the martial artist ranks.”

The Buddha Demon Heavenly Song laughed, ”That’s because Brother Dong has a gift in that area. Just as the Buddha doesn’t ferry those without affinity, the Transcendent Outsider also chooses talented and potential martial artists to pass on their teachings.”

”Even if Brother Dong had not had such strong martial way talent, meeting a Transcendent Outsider or Cloud-wandering Immortal would unlikely have granted inheritance.”

The words of the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song earned the deep agreement of all martial artists present.

In their view, there is no such thing as pure luck in the martial arts world.

Therefore, the opportunities that one gets are all a reflection of one’s strength and talent.

”Holy Monk, isn’t it a bit off-topic? Our alliance leader asked how to find the entrance to the Hidden Dragon Cave, yet you brought up Feng Shui. How is it related?”

Lin Dong didn’t want the conversation to linger on himself, as that could lead to unnecessary trouble.

So he redirected the topic back to the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song.

Upon hearing Lin Dong’s words, everyone turned their eyes towards the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song.

While everyone was undoubtedly curious about Lin Dong’s origins and his master, the current moment was clearly not the time for such curiosity. The focus should be on finding the entrance to the Hidden Dragon Cave as soon as possible and entering it.

That was the purpose of their journey here, after all.

The Buddha Demon Heavenly Song laughed, ”The Feng Shui I just mentioned naturally relates to finding the Hidden Dragon Cave.”

”I believe that the reason why the Hidden Dragon Superior ultimately chose to end his days here in the Hidden Dragon Mountain of Southborne was undoubtedly because of the Feng Shui.”

”And his spirit cave was clearly laid out according to Feng Shui principles.”

”If we can discover this Hidden Dragon Mountain’s Feng Shui layout, we can use the art of Geomancy to solve it and find the location of the Hidden Dragon Cave’s entrance.”

”Otherwise, searching blindly in such a large mountain for a cave entrance would be like searching for a needle in a haystack.”

”Moreover, aimlessly searching might very likely trigger the Feng Shui configuration here, leading to disasters and misfortune.”

Hearing these words, the crowd was left in a daze.

Only Lin Dong, Qin Feng, and a few other Dragon Country martial artists had bright eyes.

However, although Qin Feng and the others had heard of Feng Shui, they hadn’t deeply understood it.

Thus, they wouldn’t know how to find any Feng Shui pattern.

At this moment, all they could do was look toward the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song.

Qin Feng put his hands together, saying, ”Then we trouble the Little Holy Monk to find the Feng Shui layout here, is that alright?”

The Buddha Demon Heavenly Song didn’t reply but instead looked toward Lin Dong and asked, ”Brother Dong, you just mentioned you have some understanding of Feng Shui techniques. Could you join me in finding the Feng Shui layout here?”

Lin Dong laughed, ”The Way of Feng Shui is vast and profound; I only know a little.”

”No matter, it’s been a long time since I encountered someone who understands Feng Shui. This dragon-seeking and fixing mountains opportunity is a perfect chance for us to exchange insights,” the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song said.

Seeing his enthusiasm, Lin Dong couldn’t refuse, nodding and saying, ”In that case, I’ll join you in locating the Feng Shui layout here.”

The Buddha Demon Heavenly Song saw Lin Dong agree and nodded with a smile.

Then, he pulled out a Feng Shui compass from his arms.

In the center of the compass was a small circle representing the ’Heavenly Pool,’ symbolizing Tai Chi, which is the root and destination of all things in the universe. In Feng Shui, the ’Heavenly Pool’ is the origin of Qi, equivalent to the ’one’ in the Great Tao.

Around the compass, there were patterns such as Eight Trigrams, Twelve Earthly Branches, Twenty-Four Mountains, Five Elements, Twenty-Eight Constellations, Qimen Dunjia, etc., each representing different aspects.

Combining the compass’s needle with these patterns allows for deducing various Feng Shui configurations.

At this moment, the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song was holding the Feng Shui compass, searching for the Feng Shui layout.

Lin Dong suggested, ”Holy Monk, perhaps we should fly up high and overlook the mountains, rivers, and canyons of the Dragon Hidden Mountain to calculate the Feng Shui configuration here?”

”Good idea,” the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song laughed and then rose into the air.

Lin Dong followed suit, alongside him at several hundred meters high, looking down.

Lin Dong’s ’Heavenly Eye’ activated silently.

Now, his ’Heavenly Eye’ could observe a certain amount of fortune and discern good from bad.

The Feng Shui configuration also falls within the scope of fortune-telling and fate, which his Heavenly Eye could perceive.

At this moment, he looked downward.

With one glance, he was startled to find that the Feng Shui pattern here was actually...
