Chapter 1811: Chapter 1810: Treating Qin Yitian’s Sickness

”Lie down on the bed.”

Lin Dong instructed Qin Yitian to lie down on the bed, then walked to her side.

He then pulled up her pajamas, revealing her smooth, snow-white back.

Qin Yitian trembled slightly and couldn’t help but ask, ”Dong Lin, treating dysmenorrhea—why are you working on my back? Isn’t the position wrong?”

Lin Dong explained, ”There are six meridians on the back: the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian, Hand Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian, Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian, Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian, Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, and the Governor Vessel.”

”Your dysmenorrhea is mainly caused by cold energy invading the Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian. This cold energy has been lingering for years, affecting your reproductive system.”

”Although you experience pain each time, your condition is still relatively mild. Some people start having this issue from puberty, and over time, it evolves into more than just dysmenorrhea.”

”For many, the accumulated cold energy over a decade or more results in menstruation ceasing entirely, preventing ovulation and causing infertility.”

”Ah? That serious? I—I won’t become infertile, right?” Qin Yitian was taken aback. Although she didn’t have a love interest right now, no woman would hope to become infertile.

This kind of thing is indeed terrifying for a young woman.

Lin Dong laughably said, ”Didn’t you hear me say earlier that your condition was discovered early? If you waited another four or five years, then infertility could really happen. But for now, you’re still healthy.”

”I’ll help you expel the cold energy from your body now.”

”Soon, you might feel some heat in your body. Just bear with it.”

”Oh, oh.” Qin Yitian quickly nodded.

At this moment, Lin Dong started to use a back-massage technique, applying pressure to the meridians on her back.

During the massage, Lin Dong channeled his inner Qi through his palms, warming them up.

At that moment, his hands felt like burning furnaces as they massaged the meridians on Qin Yitian’s back.

”Ah...” Qin Yitian, despite being mentally prepared, didn’t expect it to feel so hot.

It was even hotter than soaking in a hot spring or steaming in a sauna.

But this heat didn’t burn her skin.

After a few minutes of massage, Lin Dong said, ”What I just did was only preheating. Next, I’ll channel ’Yang Energy’ into your body to expel the cold energy!”

”At that point, it won’t be just your back that’s hot—your whole body will feel it. Try to endure it.”

Hearing this, Qin Yitian gritted her teeth and nodded.

At this moment, Lin Dong started channeling streams of inner Qi from his palms along the meridians on her back, infusing it into her body.

”Ah...” Qin Yitian found it even harder to withstand and let out several sounds in quick succession.

At the same time, sweat began seeping from her body.

Her forehead, back, abdomen, neck, armpits... Almost every part of her was flushed with heat. She felt like a feverish patient burning at forty degrees.

”It’s so unbearable...” Qin Yitian felt her entire body overheat, as if countless fire ants were crawling inside her. At that moment, it wasn’t just her skin that was burning—her entire internal system felt aflame.

Even the air she exhaled turned hot.

Lin Dong, continuing with the massage, said, ”Miss Yitian, hang in there for a little while longer. The cold energy is starting to be expelled now.”

As he spoke, they could see streams of dark energy emerging from Qin Yitian’s back.

These were the cold energies that had been accumulating in her body, now being expelled by the Yang Energy Lin Dong was channeling.

Since these cold energies had been there for years, they weren’t expelled immediately and required over ten minutes to fully dissipate.

This process was still somewhat torturous for Qin Yitian.

Her lips turned rosy, emitting steam as she weakly muttered.

”Ah... It’s too hot, I feel like I’m going to explode.”

”Dong Lin, keep helping me. Help me ease this a little.”

Lin Dong continued the massage and said, ”I can’t provide relief. If I counteract this with cooling energy now, it will transform back into cold energy and accumulate in your meridians again.”

”So you’ll need to endure it.”

”Ah...” Qin Yitian let out another pained cry, suddenly grabbing the pillow on the bed beside her and biting down onto it.

In doing so, she felt slightly better.

Seeing this, Lin Dong quickened his pace.

Finally, after fifteen minutes, no more dark energy emerged from Qin Yitian’s body. This meant all the accumulated cold energy inside her had been expelled.

At this moment, Lin Dong sighed in relief and stopped.

Qin Yitian, meanwhile, lay sprawled on the bed, biting the pillow and gasping for air.

Although she hadn’t done anything, the process of expelling the cold energy had nearly left her completely exhausted.

It took another four to five minutes for Qin Yitian to regain some strength. Struggling to sit up, she realized with excitement that her dysmenorrhea was gone!

Though still a bit weak and with her body feeling soft, she felt an overall warmth and comfort, like basking in a refreshing spring breeze.

”This is amazing! Dong Lin, my dysmenorrhea is gone for real.” Qin Yitian was overjoyed and couldn’t help but exclaim.

Lin Dong nodded, noticing that her entire body was drenched in sweat. He quickly reminded her, ”Miss Yitian, your pajamas are soaked.”

”But tonight, it’s best not to take a shower. Just use a towel to clean your body and change into fresh sleepwear.”

”It’s best to wait until tomorrow to bathe; otherwise, I’m afraid the cold energy might invade your body again.”

”Mm, mm.” Qin Yitian, feeling a little embarrassed, blushed as she realized her pajamas were completely soaked.

Under these circumstances, standing in front of a man felt rather awkward.

She quickly said, ”I’ll be going back then. Thank you, Dong Lin.”

”Rest early; see you tomorrow.”

”Mm, mm.” Lin Dong nodded. It was indeed late—both of them needed rest.

Qin Yitian bid him a quick ’Good night’ before hastily leaving Lin Dong’s room, almost as if running away. She hurried back to her own room to clean up and change into fresh pajamas.

Once in her own room, she patted her chest and exhaled heavily.

”That was so embarrassing just now... Ugh, how’s that any different from making a baby with him?” She patted her chest, her face reddened.

At the same time, she thought to herself, ”This Dong Lin’s self-control is truly remarkable—practically like the unflinching Li Xiaohui. He actually managed to hold back just now...”

Thinking about it further, her cheeks flushed even more.

Meanwhile, back in Lin Dong’s room, after Qin Yitian left, Lin Dong looked at the mess on the bed with some helplessness.

The bed was soaked with sweat from Qin Yitian’s body, though luckily, she seemed to have a natural fragrance—even her sweat didn’t smell bad.

Otherwise, Lin Dong thought, tonight would’ve been unbearable.

He also looked at the pillow she had bitten earlier, now drenched with her saliva.

”How am I supposed to sleep on this?”

Lin Dong sighed, noting that nobody was around to replace his blanket, pillow, or mattress.

In the end, he could only make do with sleeping on the pillow soaked in Qin Yitian’s saliva and covering himself with the blanket damp from her sweat for the night.

Early the next morning, a knocking at Lin Dong’s door echoed.

”Dong Lin, wake up!”

Qin Yitian had come looking for him bright and early.
