Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1663: Chapter 1662: An Immortal Comes from the East!

Lin Dong left the Oda Clan and headed for the next family among the eight great martial arts families of Yinghua Country.

Now, among the eight major families, the heads of Hattori Clan, Toyotomi Clan, and Oda Clan have all been killed by Lin Dong.

The three major families, fully deserving the title of existence and demise!

Next, Lin Dong chose to go to the Miyamoto Clan.

The Miyamoto Clan, is one of the oldest among the eight major martial arts clans in Yinghua Country.

Furthermore, the clan has produced the highest number of strong warriors.

With Heavenly Realm Martial Artists alone, the Miyamoto Clan has produced five!

Moreover, there was Miyamoto Musashi, who ranks among the top few significant figures in the martial arts history of Yinghua Country.

For more than half of Yinghua Country’s thousands of years of martial arts history, the Miyamoto Clan was the family that ruled over the entire martial arts world of Yinghua Country.

It’s only in the recent hundred years that they were replaced by the Qingye Clan.

Also, the Miyamoto Clan holds another identity, that is the first swordsmith family in the history of Yinghua Country!

Miyamoto Musashi, besides being a top-level Heavenly Realm Martial artist, he was also the first great swordsmith in the history of Yinghua Country.

Out of the ten great ancient swords of Yinghua Country, six were crafted by him. The Ten Souls Sword mentioned earlier was forged by Miyamoto Musashi after decades of effort.

The cultural foundation and strength of the Miyamoto Clan are immensely deep, had it not been for a great war a hundred years ago which devastated their clan. Otherwise, today’s number one family in the martial arts world of Yinghua Country would have been the Miyamoto Clan instead of the Qingye Clan.

And even in their decline, the Miyamoto Clan’s strength should not be underestimated. They are also one of the strongest among the eight major martial arts families!

Only slightly inferior to the Qingye Clan!

Miyamoto Muteki, is the only level-eight Grandmaster among the eight great martial arts families.

His true strength is on par with the Life-Taking King.

Lin Dong, after leaving the Oda Clan, hurried to the Miyamoto Clan.

On the way to the Miyamoto Clan, he used the ’Thousand Miles Sound Transmission Technique’ on Miyamoto Muteki.

”Miyamoto Muteki, where are you?”

”Hurry back to the Miyamoto Clan, or else, by the time you return, the Miyamoto Clan will be leveled to the ground.”

”You wouldn’t want your Miyamoto Clan to vanish overnight from this world, would you?”

His sound transmission technique accurately reached the ears of Miyamoto Muteki.

Miyamoto Muteki actually hadn’t run elsewhere. After escaping from the Martial Alliance, he went directly back to the Miyamoto Clan.

He and Toyotomi Noake of the Toyotomi Clan held the same view, in his opinion, even if he could run for a while, he couldn’t run for a lifetime.

So after fleeing from the Martial Alliance, he immediately returned to the Miyamoto Clan to take care of his final affairs.

He knew that he was doomed to not survive!

”Hum~~~”

At this moment, while he was arranging affairs at the Miyamoto Clan, suddenly Lin Dong’s voice resonated in his mind.

Hearing his words, Miyamoto Muteki also used his sound transmission technique to respond to Lin Dong.

Of course, his sound transmission technique was not as powerful as Lin Dong’s ’Thousand Miles Sound Transmission’; it couldn’t transmit sound over thousands of miles, let alone transmit sound using qi.

His sound transmission technique required knowing the exact location of the other person and being within a hundred miles.

Because Lin Dong was currently en route to the Miyamoto Clan, the distance to the Miyamoto Clan was only a little over twenty kilometers.

With such a short distance, Miyamoto Muteki, naturally, could use sound transmission to reply to Lin Dong.

”Master Lin, I am now at the Miyamoto Clan!”

”Please come over and conclude everything!”

After receiving the reply, Lin Dong sped up his pace towards the Miyamoto Clan.

Within the Miyamoto Clan, Miyamoto Muteki had already prepared for the aftermath.

He had appointed the next Clan Chief of the Miyamoto household!

It was his thirteenth son, named Miyamoto Juzo.

The Miyamoto Clan named their children rather casually; his father once aspired to be unmatched in the Martial Arts World. Although he did not achieve it himself, he placed that hope onto him. Thus he named him, Miyamoto Muteki!

And Miyamoto Muteki himself, quite fond of the company of women, fathered many children with numerous women.

Fearing the hassle, he named all his sons and daughters by numbers.

The first son was called Miyamoto Ichiro, the second, Miyamoto Jiro.

The reason he appointed his thirteenth son, Miyamoto Juzo, as the head of the house wasn’t that the first twelve children had died.

It was because of Miyamoto Juzo’s age.

Miyamoto Juzo was just a fifteen-year-old youth, not yet of age.

Miyamoto Muteki had also learned about Lin Dong, having seen his resolute slaughter during the Martial Alliance War like a demon descending upon the mortal world, earning him the title ’Ferocious Demon’.

But in truth, through investigation and understanding, he knew that Master Lin killed with principle. He wouldn’t kill the innocent, and in the face of the defenseless, the elderly, women, or children, he would not act.

This was also why he established Miyamoto Juzo as the next generation Clan Chief.

Because by doing so, perhaps he could save his life, perhaps it could ensure the Miyamoto Clan’s continuation!

Appointing Miyamoto Juzo as the next Clan Chief also met with many dissenters, whom Miyamoto Muteki personally slaughtered.

At the same time, he eliminated those with ulterior motives. That way, even if he, Miyamoto Muteki, were to be killed by Master Lin, the future of the Miyamoto Clan would not fall into the hands of such individuals.

After doing all this, Miyamoto Muteki had no other desires left.

He took his treasure sword, which had accompanied him throughout his life, and staggered towards the main gate of the Miyamoto family’s estate.

Moonlight shone upon him, casting a mottled shadow on the ground beneath him.

Behind him, his youngest son, only six years old.

Suddenly he shouted: ”Dad, where are you going?”

Miyamoto Muteki did not look back, and softly said: ”To unsheathe the treasure sword!”

By the time he reached this point, he had already arrived at the main gate of the Miyamoto Clan.

And at the main gate of the Miyamoto Clan, the full moon hung high, directly above the Miyamoto family’s gate.

At that moment, above the soaring moon, there was a figure walking on air towards them.

Under the moon, a mist rose, and a blood moon hung high. With his back to the moon, stepping on clouds, his eyes surveyed the earth below!

The figure approaching through the air, as though emerging from the celestial gates of the Moon Palace.

”Dad, who is that person? An Immortal? Has an Immortal descended to visit our Miyamoto Clan, for what purpose?” Miyamoto Juzo also followed behind, curiously asking his father.

An Immortal treads upon the moon to arrive!

Dare I ask, Immortal, visiting this mortal realm, what is your business?

Miyamoto Muteki laughed heartily: ”Right, calling him an Immortal is not an exaggeration!”

”Children, watch closely. Watch how your father, gallant and brave, dares to unsheathe his sword against an Immortal!”

”An Immortal comes from the East, today I, Miyamoto Muteki, with my life, request a sword strike from the Immortal!”

”Hahahaha...”

Having said this, he laughed loudly towards the sky.

Then, he pointed his sword at the Immortal who seemed to come from the Moon Palace in the East!

”Nameless Sword! Unsheathe!!!”
