Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1660: Chapter 1659 The person I want to kill, not even the heavens can take away

”I’m only giving you ten seconds to decide, will you annihilate our ancestors, or shall I annihilate your clan?”

Lin Dong coldly questioned Oda Eimitsu.

After speaking, Lin Dong began to count down.

”Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five...”

When he counted down to ’three,’ Oda Eimitsu gritted his teeth and said, ”I... I choose to annihilate our ancestors!”

The past was the past after all.

The future of the Oda Clan must not be buried by his hands.

He could not allow the Oda Clan to be destroyed under his watch. The bloodline of the Oda Clan could not be severed because of this.

After Oda Eimitsu made his choice, he headed to the Oda Clan’s shrine.

There were several elderly elders guarding the Oda Clan’s shrine.

These were three centenarians.

However, these three centenarians were not martial artists, but rather Oda Eimitsu’s elders.

At the moment when Oda Eimitsu arrived at the entrance of the shrine, one of the elders asked, ”Eimitsu, are you here to pay homage to our ancestors?”

Oda Eimitsu shook his head: ”No, I am here to eradicate them!”

”What? How dare you, Eimitsu, to commit such an act of annihilating our ancestors?” the one in the middle said loudly, leaning on a cane.

Oda Eimitsu wryly smiled, ”My three grand-uncles, I have no other choice. If I don’t do this today, our Oda Clan will perish by my hand.”

”To continue the bloodline of our Oda Clan, to prevent our Oda Clan from being destroyed, I must do this.”

”I believe that our ancestors would understand my intentions and would agree with my decision.”

With that said, suddenly he struck the main gate with a punch.

”Boom!!” The gate of the shrine was directly blasted away with his punch.

Seeing this, the three centenarian elders were furious.

It was the one in the middle who stood up, blocking his path, ”You shall not destroy the shrine, you shall not destroy our ancestors’ spirit positions!”

”Oda Eimitsu, if you insist on doing this, then you must step over my dead body!”

”Then, I am sorry, Second Grand-Uncle, if that’s the case, I will have to step over your corpse.” After saying that, Oda Eimitsu, with a ’boom,’ directly slapped him to death with one palm.

”Ah...” He let out a scream, and really, as he wished, he became a corpse.

After Oda Eimitsu killed the man he called Second Grand-Uncle, he turned to look at the other two old men aside.

”Fourth Grand-Uncle, Sixth Grand-Uncle, do you also wish to stop me?” Oda Eimitsu asked them.

The two old men shook their heads repeatedly.

”No, no.”

”You are the clan chief, what you say goes.”

”After all, our ancestors are dead, and dead people are not as important as the living. Since it’s for the descendants of our Oda Clan, sacrificing our ancestors’ spirit positions is something I believe our ancestors wouldn’t blame you for.”

”Go on, Eimitsu.”

Seeing this, Oda Eimitsu nodded slightly. He naturally understood what these grand-uncles of his were like; despite their just and stern appearances, defending the honor of their ancestors just a moment ago,

In truth, the older they got, the more they feared death. As long as their very lives were truly threatened, they wouldn’t care about the ancestors’ spirit positions.

After Oda Eimitsu entered the shrine, he walked up to the spirit positions of the ancestors of the shrine.

There, the spirit positions of the clan chiefs of the Oda clan for thousands of years were enshrined.

Besides, any member of the Oda Clan who reached the Earth Realm as a martial artist could also qualify for a spirit position in the shrine after death.

And if someone made a significant contribution to the Oda Clan, regardless of whether they were a martial artist or what their strength was, they also qualified for a spirit position in the shrine.

There are hundreds of spirit positions here, representing the Clan Chiefs of the Oda Clan through the generations, the Earth Realm martial artists of the Oda Clan through the generations, and those who have made significant contributions to the Oda Clan.

Among these people, it includes the Heavenly Realm Martial Artists from the Oda family.

It also includes Oda Eimitsu’s great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and others.

”Sorry, my ancestors! Sorry, father, grandpa... I have no choice but to do this,” Oda Eimitsu finally bowed three times to those spirit positions.

Then, he drew the sword he had been carrying on his back.

”Three-blade flow, one cut for the water flow, one cut for the mountain and rivers, one cut to break the sky!”

He executed a Grandmaster-level ’Three-blade flow’.

”Boom boom boom!!” After the three cuts, the hundreds of spirit positions enshrined in the sanctuary of the Oda Clan were all shattered by the sword qi.

The entire shrine was a complete mess.

Afterward, he directly set a fire.

”Boom!” The roaring flames burned, turning those spirit positions and everything enshrined in the shrine to ashes.

While Oda Eimitsu was destroying the sanctuary, two centenarians from his family looked like they wanted to say something but stopped themselves.

The other members of the Oda Clan also seemed to want to speak but did not dare to.

At this moment, everyone couldn’t help but look towards Lin Dong.

At this moment, Lin Dong stood with his hands behind his back on a high place, like a Heavenly God High Above, judging all.

”Boom!!”

Just then, the sky changed color; the sky, which was clear and cloudless, suddenly became overcast with dark clouds at this moment.

Above the Oda Clan, a thick layer of dark clouds appeared, with lightning flashing within it.

”Boom!” A bolt of thunder descended from the dark clouds, striking towards Oda Eimitsu.

Seeing this scene, the two uncles of Oda Eimitsu started screaming.

”By dishonoring and destroying ancestral spirits, you invited heavenly punishment! It is God punishing you, Eimitsu!”

”Dishonor and strike down the ancestors, and you will be hit by heavenly thunder. Eimitsu, today you will be struck dead by it!”

”Alas, those are the spirit positions of our ancestors of the Oda Clan. Why are they called spirit positions? It’s because they possess a spirit. If the younger generation venerates them properly and keeps the incense burning, they will manifest and protect us. But if we dishonor them and destroy their spirit positions, they will descend punishment upon us.”

At this moment, Oda Eimitsu’s face was filled with horror, never having expected such a scene to unfold.

Could it really be as the two uncles said, that the ancestors have manifested?

But if it really was the ancestors manifesting, why didn’t they kill Master Lin?

Why didn’t they protect their offspring and prevent their bloodline from ending?

Could it be that even the ancestors fear Master Lin? That these ancestors also bully the weak and fear the strong?

Just as the thunderbolt was about to strike Oda Eimitsu, Lin Dong suddenly moved.

”Heaven Parting Axe!” Lin Dong abruptly executed the classic martial art move ”Axe Splitting the Sky,” aiming at the thunderbolt falling from the heavenly vault.

”Boom!”

This axe seemed as if it could truly split the heavens.

It actually managed to shatter the descending thunderbolt!

The scene of the originally destructive thunderbolt now shattered by Lin Dong’s axe was truly shocking.

Seeing that Lin Dong actually made a move to save him, Oda Eimitsu was greatly shocked and couldn’t help but ask, ”Master Lin, by saving me, could it be you don’t wish to kill me? Spare my life? Do you want me to submit to you? Want our Oda Clan to submit to you?”

Upon hearing this, Lin Dong shook his head: ”Your submission, the Oda Clan’s submission, I disdain it!”

”The reason I shattered that thunderbolt is that I want to kill you with my own hands!”

”When it comes to people I, Master Lin, wish to kill, even the heavens can’t snatch them away!”
