Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1291: Chapter 1290 Jewelry Exhibition

Rakuyev was crying miserably and couldn’t help but say to Dr. Ola:

”Dr. Ola, what should I do now?”

Dr. Ola said, ”Young Master, I think what you should be concerned about next is not curing your sickness, but how to obtain the forgiveness of the Asura War God.”

”But that’s the Asura War God...”

”Mm-hmm.” Rakuyev nodded vigorously.

Soon, under the escort of the Azure Dragon Messenger, Divine General Fei Ying, and others, Lin Dong also arrived at the Door of the War God Temple.

And he had naturally noticed Rakuyev already.

A weird expression also appeared on his face.

”That person recommended by the Dragon King War God to cure the disease wouldn’t be Rakuyev, would it? What a coincidence?”

He laughed outright.

He had not expected that just yesterday he had destroyed Rakuyev.

Today, he was coming to him seeking a cure for his sickness.

Moreover, he had found the Dragon King War God.

Lin Dong knew that it must have been him who went to his father, Alexander.

However, his father Alexander must have heard that the Dantian of the Dragon King War God was destroyed, so he went to find the Dragon King War God.

And the Dragon King War God, not knowing the true circumstances, thought to maintain the face of the Xiong Country War Department and thus agreed to recommend Lin Dong to cure him.

However, Lin Dong clearly wouldn’t treat Rakuyev!

He had offended him yesterday, and it was already showing favor to the Xiong Country War God that he had not killed him outright.

And having destroyed his Dantian, there was absolutely no possibility of helping him cure it.

Lin Dong walked over with a stern face and then asked Rakuyev:

”So it’s you who came to me for treatment?”

Rakuyev ’plop’, knelt down directly, and then said tremblingly, ”Lord Asura War God, I was blind-sighted and did not recognize you as the Lord Asura War God.”

”I apologize for yesterday’s incident and hope for Lord Asura War God’s forgiveness!”

Lin Dong said solemnly, ”Forgive you? Naturally, that is impossible. Let me be straightforward with you; even if you are the son of the Xiong Country War God, even if you leveraged your father’s power.”

”I will not cure your sickness!”

”I daren’t, I daren’t. I will not seek treatment for this sickness, only beg for Lord Asura War God’s mercy!” Rakuyev hastily kowtowed to Lin Dong.

Lin Dong nodded, ”You at least have some sense of self-awareness!”

”Alright, you can roll now. And remember, whatever arrogance you show in your Xiong Country is your business. But if you dare to act arrogant in our Dragon Country again, it will be more than just your Dantian being destroyed; I will take your life!”

”And make you wish you were dead!”

”Yes, yes, yes, I won’t dare, and I will keep a low profile whenever I am in Dragon Country.”

Rakuyev was sweating profusely, especially when just now Lin Dong spoke of taking his life, exuding a terrifying killing intent.

It was the first time he felt the oppressive killing intent of an Earth Realm martial artist, and he was so frightened that cold sweat soaked his back in an instant.

Earth Realm martial artists were indeed terrifying!

After giving Rakuyev a lesson, Lin Dong turned his head and briefly explained the situation to the Azure Dragon Messenger and others.

The Azure Dragon Messenger then realized that the person who had come to seek treatment was the very one who had offended War God Lin yesterday.

And moreover, was the one destroyed by War God Lin.

They also felt it was quite a coincidence.

At the same time, they also agreed with Lin Dong’s actions.

They also warned Rakuyev, saying:

”Besides needing to behave yourself, you also need to control your subordinates and restrain other people from your Xiong Country.”

”Let them all keep it straight, this is our Dragon Country, not your Xiong Country, not a place where you can throw your weight around.”

”Yes, yes, yes.” Rakuyev nodded repeatedly.

He realized that today was not about curing the disease at all.

Today was about apologizing.

It was about being taught a lesson by the big shots of the Demon City War Department!

Lin Dong then also left the War Department.

After he left the War Department, he went to find Tang Mu.

Tang Mu’s flight tonight was heading back to the Capital.

He made a call to Tang Mu, and soon, the phone was connected.

On the other end, Tang Mu asked with a smile, ”Lin Dong, have you finished your business? Are you free now?”

”I am,” Lin Dong said.

He naturally had time, as he was actually planning to meet Tang Mu.

Tang Mu also happily responded, ”Xiao Ya is also in Demon City at the moment, she asked if you’re free, she would like to meet you.”

”We are currently attending a jewelry exhibition, can you come over?”

That Xiao Ya was a big shot in the entertainment circles of the Capital and also the CEO of Tang Mu’s company, as well as Tang Mu’s agent.

She had helped Tang Mu a lot, and Lin Dong had met this Xiao Ya before.

Xiao Ya was also aware of Lin Dong’s identity as ’Master Lin’ and wanted to meet him, which Lin Dong felt he must honor.

After all, she was also a benefactor of Tang Mu.

Lin Dong nodded and said, ”Okay, I’ll come over.”

Seeing Lin Dong agreed to come, Tang Mu was also delighted.

Then, with a bit of excitement, she said, ”Also, Lin Dong. Guess who I ran into at the jewelry exhibition? It’s an old acquaintance of ours, you know him too.”

Lin Dong was curious, ”I know him too? Is it our high school classmate?”

The only mutual acquaintance they had was their high school classmates.

”Yes, it’s our high school classmate Feng Shanshan! You remember her, right?” Tang Mu asked.

”I remember,” Lin Dong said.

This Feng Shanshan used to sit next to him in high school and often copied his homework.

So they were quite close during high school.

However, since high school graduation, he hadn’t seen her or been in touch. He heard she had enrolled in a broadcasting school.

She didn’t come to the last classmate gathering in his hometown either!

”Lin Dong, come quick. It’s not easy to run into our old classmate, so I thought I wouldn’t go back to the Capital tonight.”

”I’ve changed my flight to tomorrow. I’ll go back to the Capital with Xiao Ya tomorrow.”

”Mhm,” Lin Dong nodded: ”Give me the address, I’ll come right away.”

Then, Tang Mu gave Lin Dong an address.

It was at the Demon City Expo Center.

The jewelry exhibition was quite a grand affair, and from what Tang Mu indicated, it would last until the evening.

Moreover, there would be a jewelry banquet in the evening!

At that time, they would select some of the best-quality jewelry for auction.

Many celebrities would be attending, including stars like Tang Mu and CEOs like Xiao Ya.

It was said that even the Jewelry King from Jadeite City had been invited to preside over the event.

After getting the address, Lin Dong immediately hailed a taxi and headed to the Demon City Expo Center for the jewelry exhibition.
