Chapter 888: Chapter 888 The War God Yan Qing

After Lin Dong had left the Demon City Martial Arts Association for quite a while, those people finally reacted.

Looking at the corpses strewn across the ground, the survivors hastily made a call to the President of the Demon City Martial Arts Association.

The President of the Demon City Martial Arts Association, now a Wushu expert named Huang Qianchi, is also a peak level Energy Conversion Master and a member of the Yan Family.

He was once a Divine General under the command of the War God Yan Qing, but later retired and joined the Demon City Martial Arts Association.

With the support of the Yan Family, he climbed step by step to become the current President of the Demon City Martial Arts Association.

He was not in the great hall of the association at the time, having narrowly escaped disaster.

Upon learning that Ma Wenguo had been killed by Master Lin, he immediately made a phone call to inform Yan Yu from the Yan Family.

Yan Yu was greatly shocked upon learning this.

”Could it be that Yagyu Ittovine actually couldn’t stand against that Master Lin?”

”Quick, quick! Mobilize all of the Yan Family’s connections and thoroughly investigate. See if Yagyu Ittovine was killed by Master Lin!”

While Yan Yu gave the orders to thoroughly investigate the matter,

he also made another phone call.

This phone call was made to his older brother, the War God Yan Qing.

The War God Yan Qing, one of Dragon Country’s four great War Gods, guards Demon City.

He commands a million soldiers, and his strength is unfathomable, possessing the power of Earth Realm martial artists.

At the moment, Yan Qing was in Demon City’s War Department, training a Special Combat Team.

All four War Gods organize their own Special Combat Teams. Among them, the Dragon King War God established the ”Dragon Group,” which used to be Dragon Country’s premier Special Combat Team.

Of course, it had declined now, and the Dragon King War God had only recently planned to rebuild the Dragon Group.

While the Dragon Group was in decline, the Special Combat Team ”Qing Jiao” organized by the War God Yan Qing rose to prominence, becoming a world-renowned Special Forces unit.

He was now training the ”Qing Jiao Special Forces.”

This Special Combat Team consisted of only 100 people, each of them under thirty years of age. Yet every one of them had ’S’ level talent.

This ’S’ level talent grading was a unique standard of the War Department, requiring specific testing.

Those between the ages of twenty-five and thirty, if they enter the Master Rankings, just barely qualify as having ’S’ level potential.

If they are between twenty and twenty-five years old and are at the peak of being Martial Arts Masters, then they also barely qualify as having ’S’ level potential.

If they are between thirteen and twenty years old, at the peak of being Martial Arts Masters or even Martial Arts Sect Masters, then they are considered to have ’Super S’ potential. They will be treated as key training targets.

As Yan Qing was training these hundred gifted prodigies of the War Department following his own body conditioning methods, his phone rang.

There were only two people’s numbers in this phone.

One was his wife, and the other was his brother. As long as the phone rang, no matter how busy he was, he would answer it.

After connecting the call, he inquired, ”Xiao Yu, is that you? What’s happened?”

”Brother, save me. If you don’t come back to save me this time, my life is over!”

Without any hesitation, Yan Yu immediately spoke out after the call was connected.

After hearing this, Yan Qing’s face changed dramatically, and he asked with confusion:

”What happened? Who in Demon City could threaten your life?”

Yan Yu briefly explained the situation with Master Lin to his older brother, the War God Yan Qing, and after finishing, Yan Yu said:

”He already knows about me plotting behind his back, and I estimate that it won’t be long before he comes to the Yan Family seeking my life.”

”Now, only you can save me.”

Yan Qing pondered, ”How many times have I told you to keep a low profile? Why won’t you listen to me?”

”I’ve also heard of that Master Lin in the War Department. It is said that he is the chosen one by the Dragon King War God, selected to be the chief instructor for the newly rebuilt ’Dragon Group.’”

”By implication, this means choosing him as his successor. How could you offend such a person?”

”You should have sought his alliance instead. Yet you went and offended him!”

Yan Yu hurriedly said, ”Brother, I didn’t know it was him at first. After I offended him, that’s when I found out his identity. By then, I was in too deep.”

”Brother, come quickly and save me. I have a premonition he will come to kill me within two days. Without your protection, I’m as good as dead!”

With a sigh, the War God Yan Qing replied, ”It can’t be helped, I suppose.”

After hanging up the phone, the War God Yan Qing ordered the ’Qing Jiao’ members before him to continue their training.

”Keep training hard, you must win the first place in the War Department’s large comparison a few months from now. Only then will you be able to receive greater fortune and only then can I gain greater opportunity!”

”Yes!” Everyone roared in response, their voices thundering like a tiger’s roar and a dragon’s chant.

After giving this command, the War God Yan Qing left the War Department with the stride of a dragon and tiger and returned to the Yan Family.

This time, he took with him several thousand War Soldiers, including a Five-star Divine General. This Five-Star Divine General, previously, Lin Dong had met once; he was the Overlord God General.

Speaking of Lin Dong, after purging the Demon City Martial Arts Association with the blood of Ma Wenguo and others, he prepared to head towards the Yan Family.

Yan Yu had provoked him three times, and naturally, Lin Dong was going to trouble him. Otherwise, the other party might really think he was an easy target to bully.
