Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 1525: Chapter 858: Hormone Issues

“Mr. Liang, in this situation, I really have no way.”

In the Breeding Department office, Yue Yawei looked at Liang Yuan, then glanced at Lu Yuyan on the sofa, looking a bit helpless and sighed.

Liang Yuan frowned and asked, “Don’t you also have the aphrodisiac skill?”

Yue Yawei smiled wryly and said, “Mr. Liang, I do have the aphrodisiac superpower, but my superpower is to stimulate the target’s desire and then trigger the hormones inside their body, causing the target to have uncontrollable sexual desire.”

“But once these hormones are produced, I can’t make them disappear.”

“This process is irreversible.”

Liang Yuan frowned deeply, looking at Lu Yuyan on the sofa.

Even though she had already fallen asleep, her face was still flushed, her body involuntarily twitching, her legs pressed together, while emitting some strange humming sounds from her mouth.

“If we just leave her like this, won’t the hormones in her body gradually return to normal levels?” Liang Yuan asked Yue Yawei.

Yue Yawei nodded, “That definitely can happen. The human body has self-regulating capabilities. When these hormones are affected by the superpower and temporarily increased, once the superpower’s influence stops, the hormones will naturally adjust.”

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.

But then Yue Yawei hesitated, and added, “However… in her case, I have a feeling something is not right.”

Liang Yuan promptly asked, “What do you mean? What’s not right?”

Yue Yawei said, “Logically, since she is no longer affected by the superpower, this aphrodisiac hormone should gradually dissipate.”

“But looking at her condition, it’s obviously getting more severe, which is unusual.”

Liang Yuan’s face slightly darkened, asking, “Are you saying her hormones haven’t decreased? Could it be that the influence of the aphrodisiac superpower is still there?”

“It shouldn’t be. The superpower’s effect can’t be that powerful. Mr. Liang, I suspect she might have been drugged.”

Yue Yawei hesitated for a moment and couldn’t help but say.

Liang Yuan immediately thought of what those women did, fearing it might really have happened.

He promptly asked, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, very likely. In our Breeding Department, we actually have related drugs used for mating these Mutant Beasts.”

“As you know, our department has a large number of Mutant Beasts. Relying solely on my skills is sometimes not sufficient, so I specifically contacted people from the Medical Department to help me develop related drugs.”

“Yu Yan’s condition is very similar to a medicated state.”

Liang Yuan frowned, “Similar to the Mutant Beast medicated state?”

“Uh… not exactly.”

Yue Yawei felt a bit embarrassed and said, “Our medicines are really effective. Some residents of the Shelter buy small amounts for personal use.”

Liang Yuan was stunned, then quickly understood that this was an alternative version of ‘little pills.’

It’s not surprising, with so many people on Yangshan Island, there would surely be a need for such things.

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but ask, “Is there any solution for this type of drug?”

Yue Yawei shook her head helplessly, “This isn’t poison, taking it isn’t much of an issue. Both parties just need to release some tension.”

Liang Yuan was speechless, wondering where the young girl Lu Yuyan would release it.

Yue Yawei said, “Why don’t you go ask the Medical Department?”

Liang Yuan nodded, picked up Lu Yuyan and left.

However, just as he reached the door, he suddenly thought of something and turned back, saying, “Don’t let today’s incident spread out.”

Yue Yawei quickly nodded, “Rest assured, I won’t say anything.”

“Mm.”

Liang Yuan’s figure flashed and disappeared.

Yue Yawei looked outside, only seeing a black dot left in the sky.

She rubbed her chin, shook her head, and said, “I’m afraid the Medical Department won’t have a solution either. This drug is really hard to counter.”

In the Medical Department, Yang Shenmin looked serious as he checked Lu Yuyan’s pulse.

Liang Yuan sat nearby, Tang Ying approached and poured a glass of water for Liang Yuan, saying, “Mr. Liang, have a glass of water. Don’t rush. It’s not like during the apocalypse. Medical conditions might be lacking, but superpowers compensate.”

“We have quite a few superpower users good at healing in the Medical Department.”

Tang Ying comforted Liang Yuan.

Liang Yuan nodded slightly, picking up the teacup to take a sip, but his eyes were still watching Yang Shenmin.

After a while, Yang Shenmin withdrew his hand, looking somewhat troubled.

Liang Yuan quickly asked, “Dr. Yang, what’s the situation?”

Yang Shenmin sighed and said, “Hard to treat; it’s yin deficiency with excessive fire, liver channel damp heat, not something that can be resolved immediately.”

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but ask, “What do you mean by yin deficiency with excessive fire and liver channel damp heat?”

“Yin deficiency with excessive fire means insufficient kidney yin, unable to restrain ministerial fire, leading to internal excessive fire, showing increased libido.”

“Liver channel damp heat refers to the liver being responsible for dispersion; if internal damp and heat reside in the liver channel, it may cause unusually heightened libido.”

“Of course, this is a traditional Chinese medicine perspective. In western medicine, it’s an endocrine disorder, commonly known as — hypersexuality.”

After Yang Shenmin finished, he added, “Of course, her situation must be affected by both the drug and the superpower.”

“Wanting to treat it can’t be done immediately, and requires slow treatment.”

Liang Yuan quickly asked, “Can you temporarily get her out of this state?”

Yang Shenmin replied, “This… I’m not sure if it will work. Let me try using some tranquilizers first.”

Liang Yuan heard and suddenly thought of something, hurriedly asked: “Can the Spirit Potion be used? She was affected by the aphrodisiac superpower, which is why things have developed like this.”

“If we use the Spirit Potion, can it make her Spiritual Power stronger? Would that help her control some of her behaviors?”

Yang Shenmin pondered for a moment, then shook his head: “I’m afraid not, because after the Spiritual Power becomes strong, all her senses will become very sensitive, and the demand for sex might be stronger at that time.”

“The effect of the sedative is actually to make her perception duller.”

“These are two completely different directions.”

Liang Yuan felt helpless, not understanding medical matters, he could only sigh and say: “Let’s give her the medication first and see if she can calm down.”

“I’ll go find her father.”

Yang Shenmin nodded, and immediately injected the sedative into Lu Yuyan.

After doing all this, Lu Yuyan seemed much calmer, but her breathing was still a bit heavy, and her face remained flushed.

Yang Shenmin observed for a while and sighed: “There’s some effect, but it’s not ideal.”

He hesitated for a moment, looked at Liang Yuan, and said: “Mr. Liang, as a doctor, my suggestion is that it’s better to release than repress.”

“It’s best for her to vent this excitation so that hormone levels can quickly decline.”

Liang Yuan was speechless and said: “She’s just a young girl, how do you suggest she vents?”

Yang Shenmin asked: “Does she have a boyfriend or something? If not, she should get married soon.”

“How old is she?” Yang Shenmin casually inquired.

Liang Yuan said: “She’s eighteen, but probably doesn’t have a boyfriend. I need to ask her friends about this.”

For some reason, hearing that Lu Yuyan should find a boyfriend made Liang Yuan slightly uncomfortable.

Yang Shenmin nodded and said nothing more.

Liang Yuan immediately carried Lu Yuyan and quickly found Meng Youyou.

Meng Youyou was aghast seeing Lu Yuyan unconscious, and quickly asked what happened.

Liang Yuan explained briefly, but did not tell her what kind of poison Lu Yuyan was affected by.

“Poisoned? Mr. Liang, I’ll go find Nai Bai, she has healing abilities.”

Liang Yuan held her back and said: “This is not an ordinary poison, I just came from the medical department, and they couldn’t help.”

“I’m here to ask you, you and Yu Yan are always together, do you know if she likes someone? Or does she have a boyfriend or something?”

“Huh?”

Meng Youyou was momentarily stunned, looking at Liang Yuan somewhat in shock.

“Mr. Liang, why are you asking this at such a time?”

Liang Yuan urged: “This is very important, just answer me.”

Meng Youyou hesitated for a moment, secretly glanced at Liang Yuan, and said: “She doesn’t have a boyfriend, but someone she likes… well, there is.”

Liang Yuan instinctively furrowed his brow, asked: “Who is it?”

Meng Youyou was a little embarrassed, stammering.

Liang Yuan urged: “Tell me quickly, this matter is very important, it relates to Yu Yan’s poison!”

Although Meng Youyou didn’t understand the reason, upon hearing it concerned Lu Yuyan’s poison, she dared not conceal.

“Well, Mr. Liang, actually Yu Yan has always had a good impression of you.”

“What?”

Liang Yuan was taken aback, a bit surprised, and deep inside felt a hint of joy.

Meng Youyou awkwardly said: “Yu Yan actually always admired you; you might not know, but she often talks to me about you, especially when she learned the Yangshan Gene Activation Technique with you.”

“She said if it wasn’t for you, she might never hear or speak.”

Images of past moments aboard the Firebird with Lu Yuyan involuntarily appeared in Liang Yuan’s mind.

He sighed, looking at the still asleep Lu Yuyan, with a trace of softness in his eyes.

“Alright, I know now. I need to find her father; I’m sure he can cure her.”

“Mr. Liang, let me take care of Yu Yan then.”

Liang Yuan shook his head: “No need, I’ll take her to my home. There are people there who will take care of her specifically.”

Lu Yuyan is now affected by the aphrodisiac, the situation is very unstable, if a man shows up now, it would be disastrous.

Keeping her at home with Yang Mei, Lin Wan and the others to take care, Liang Yuan was more at ease.

He quickly returned home.

Once home, Yang Mei and the others quickly gathered around.

They were about to ask about the battle situation but saw Liang Yuan carrying Lu Yuyan, and quickly inquired what happened.

Liang Yuan said: “Take care of her for now, don’t let any men near her, I’m going to find Lu Dayou.”

Yang Mei quickly nodded: “Okay.”

Lin Wan wondered: “Why not let men near her?”

But the situation was urgent, she didn’t ask further and simply followed Liang Yuan’s instructions, placing Lu Yuyan on the sofa.

After Liang Yuan left, Lin Wan looked at Yang Mei, and asked: “Yang Mei, she can’t just stay on the sofa forever, should I move her to my room?”

Yang Mei thought for a moment and said: “Put her in my brother’s study, there’s a bed over there.”

Lin Wan nodded, and the two immediately moved Lu Yuyan to Liang Yuan’s study.
