The Great Thief

“Hey now! Don’t get excited too quickly… Your victory is empty and meaningless… I will be back soon.”

System: “Congratulations…”

They had achieved the First Clear with such ease?

It wasn’t just those who were frustrated and sceptical on the world channel – even Ruling Sword themselves were a little unconvinced.

The First Clear had come so suddenly. Everyone was a bit shocked.

“Nothing for me again!”

Lu Li’s howl of rage woke everyone from shock.

Yes, there were 5 skill points – and they all belonged to other people.

They had fought many Bosses many times during the past months in Naxxramas. Usually, there would be at least one or two Skill Points per Boss, even if it wasn’t a First Clear. There were some lucky players that had even received three Skill Points from this Instance Dungeon.

Meanwhile, Lu Li had only been awarded with a single, measly point.

“I got 1 point, then was rewarded with another. Man, how should I spend them all?” Azure Sea Breeze questioned with a melancholy face. When Lu Li saw this, he decided that when the time came, he would definitely beat him to death.

Lu Li’s First Clear reward was a piece of equipment – not the skill point nor the Enhanced Skills Book he wanted.

Ravager’s Shoulderpads (Epic): Armor +160, Agility +160, Strength +120, Evasion +30, 2 Slots. Special Effect 1: Sap +1. Special Effect 2: Hot-Blooded Surgency. Attack speed +20. After use, increases Agility by 10%, 15 minute cooldown. Special Effect 3: Shadow Step. Remove all negative states. Move within the shadows, and appear behind a target. Over the next 3 seconds, the damage caused by the next Ambush or Throat Lock will increase by 30%, and movement speed will increase by 70%. Lasts 3 seconds. 15 minute cooldown. Level Requirement: 60, Durability: 380/380.

This was a valuable set of Shoulderpads and Lu Li equipped them happily. It was still better than receiving useless equipment.

If he didn’t compare himself with those who had received Enhanced Skills Books or Skill Points, then his reward was actually rather decent.

This was the last Instance Dungeon Boss of the 60’s. Everyone was looking forward to looting equipment.

“Gemstone with three magic attributes!” Remnant Dream announced.

This little girl had been picked up by Lu Li at Novice Village. At the time, she was not doing well for herself. Lu Li saw that she was around the same age as his little sister so brought her along. Then, he discovered that her luck was insane, and since then, she had become the looting expert of Lu Li’s team.

Back then, Lu Li was poor as dog. He had to find money to pay the liquidated damaged to Star Moon Guild, cover his rent and feed himself. More importantly, he had to save a large sum of money for his sister’s medical treatment.

However, in his usual gaming activities, Lu Li had never been stingy. This also led to the fact that these friends never gave up on him. To be completely honest, no matter if it were Azure Sea Breeze or Remnant Dream, if they accepted outside solicitation, they would immediately become billionaires.

The other stones were almost all exquisite items too. Kel’Thuzad didn’t drop rubbish. Even Lu Li received a double attribute stone that provided a 4% boost to Agility, and gave 24 points of Constitution.

Enhanced Shadowstrike!

This was a Thief’s enhanced skills book. Unfortunately, both Lu Li and Water Fairy had already learnt Shadowstrike, so they could only hand it to other players.

Then, there was a treasure trove of rare materials. With the exception of Wild Bosses, Lu Li had rarely seen more than five rare materials dropped at once. He didn’t know what type of rare materials his Supreme Ring would require in the future.

The only thing he could predict was that it would not be an easy task to collect all the rare materials that the Supreme Ring required.

In Dawn, it was almost impossible to have only one piece of equipment that was similar to the Supreme Ring. Lonesome Flower actually had one item that was similar, but it would have been replaced by this time.

A majority of equipment could only be enhanced a maximum of one or two times.

Even though Lu Li’s Supreme Ring was more difficult to enhance, its potential was enormous. Without a doubt, the next enhancement would not be the last for this equipment.

Gem of Trapped Innocents – even though the name described it as a gem, in reality, it was an exquisite Magic Necklace. Naturally, there was another mad scramble for it.

Gressil, Dawn of Ruin – this was an Epic One-handed Sword.

Gressil was an unclean devil in Christianity and was ranked third among the throne guardians. His image changed as time went on, and in many modern novels, he was described as a flying lizard-like monster with purple bat wings and a lizard’s head on the body of a miniature devil.

Legends said that Gressil fed on rotten meat as a main source of food, but when enraged, he also attacked other creatures. Gressil lived in the depths of dark caves, surviving on abandoned prey left behind by humans.

This one-handed sword had average effects, but an incredibly high basic attack attribute.

A weapon’s basic attack attributes were actually quite important as this influenced the damage of many skills. A strong basic attack could completely outweigh other shortcomings in attributes and special effects.

In the end, Mu Qiu received the equipment.

Ring of Faith!

This was a Priest’s T3 ring and was taken by Star Baby.

In fact, March Rain also wanted it, but since everyone was already allies, it didn’t matter who the equipment ended up with, unless the finals were fought between Drizzle Court and Ruling Sword. Otherwise, whoever was using it could have it. Anyway, the next competition couldn’t be played at the same time.

Ring of the Dreadnaught!

This was given to Moonlight as a Warrior T3 ring.

Ring of the Dreamwalker!

This was given to Innocent Child. Little Hachi Chan still lacked enthusiasm, which made people wonder what type of equipment she had.

King’s Fall – as in the Kryss the Fallen King in the Thief legend!

Finally, there was a Legendary item! The other professions were very envious, but those who knew started to laugh at Lu Li.

Originally, Lu Li would have been pleased to see a Legendary weapon he could use.

Yet, as he looked at the same type of weapon in his hand, Lu Li could only comfort himself. He had one, and Water Fairy also had another – the Lovers’ Weapon!
