Chapter 139: Chapter 28: An Unexpected Encounter Chapter 139: Chapter 28: An Unexpected Encounter Azure Dragon Academy!

True Martial Square!

Three thousand new students gathered here!

“Feng, have you found a team yet?” Su Zimo asked.

Lin Feng smiled and said, “I plan to act alone.”

Su Zimo responded with a wry smile, “I was hoping to pull you into our team, but now it seems there’s no hope.”

Lin Feng patted Su Zimo on the shoulder and said, “Even if I’m not there, you must strive hard!”

“Haha, don’t worry, I will try my best to achieve the best result,” Su Zimo said with a laugh.

Whoosh…

Just then, deep within Azure Dragon Academy, three streaks of light flew out, leading with a stocky old man, followed by two majestic middle-aged men.

...

“It’s Helian Changlong, the vice president of Genius Camp!”

Someone exclaimed aloud, recognizing the identity of the elder, causing a ripple of shocked cries.

The vice president of Genius Camp is absolutely a big shot within Azure Dragon Academy.

A figure everyone looks up to.

“Ladies and gentlemen, in this new student assessment, Genius Camp will recruit thirty talented students based on the assessment results!

Once you enter the jungle, you will encounter intercepting senior students.

You need to defeat those intercepting seniors and snatch their identity tokens.

The final results will be ranked according to the number of identity tokens collected.”

The booming voice of Helian Changlong spread throughout.

Instantly, the announcement resounded shockingly.

With over three thousand new students, the fact that Genius Camp was only recruiting thirty was excessively stringent.

Many were disheartened.

Helian Changlong said, “Even if you can’t enter Genius Camp this time, do not be disappointed.

The Outer Court holds a grand competition every year, and students with excellent performance still have a chance to enter Genius Camp for advanced studies.

Moreover, the results of this assessment are very important; classes within the Azure Dragon Academy are also tiered.

The better your assessment results, even if you can’t join Genius Camp, when clasifying in the Outer Court, you’ll be assigned to a better class with more outstanding teachers guiding your cultivation.

If your assessment results are poor, I’m sorry to say, you students will only be able to join the most ordinary classes.”

Hearing Helian Changlong’s words, many perked up with renewed spirit, no longer daring to slack.

Those able to join Azure Dragon Academy are naturally geniuses from all major academies.

Who doesn’t want to strive for a brilliant future?

Surely, no one wants to be part of the most ordinary classes.

Because once you become a member of the most ordinary classes, starting significantly behind as soon as you join the Azure Dragon Academy, how could you catch up later?

The gap would only widen.

Helian Changlong was quite satisfied with the reaction of the students and shouted firmly, “Good, now let’s enter Wolong Ridge.”

The ancient and primitive jungle where the new student assessment took place was called Wolong Ridge, located northwest of the Imperial City.

The three thousand students entered Wolong Ridge in batches.

Many were still excitedly discussing the upcoming new student assessment and the imminent clash with the senior students; some showed worry, while others were eager to test their cultivation against the senior students.

Of course, entering Genius Camp was bound to be fraught with difficulty.

While the academy had tens of thousands of students, Genius Camp only consisted of eight hundred, comprising the best young elites within True Martial Country.

Moreover, rumors suggested this assessment would be particularly difficult, as several Inner Court teams were quite formidable, led by top contenders on the Mountain River List.

With such strong teams led by senior students, no matter how exceptional the new students were, they were almost certain to lose, and many new students were now praying to avoid these formidable senior student teams.

The jungle in the Ancient Forest had a vast aura, with fallen leaves carpeting the ground, making rustling sounds as one walked.

Lin Feng moved swiftly through the forests and, as he passed an ancient forest, a student jumped down from a large tree ahead.

This student, with a powerful aura, around twenty years old, was giving Lin Feng a half-smiling, half-serious look, “You look new.

Just arrived?”

Lin Feng hadn’t expected to encounter a senior student so quickly; he shrugged and said, “If I said no, would you believe me?”

“Of course, I wouldn’t believe you.

You new students can obtain a token from a senior if you defeat them.

The more tokens you get, the richer the academy’s rewards.

And us seniors, if we defeat you new students, can also take a token from you.

The more we collect, the more rewards from the academy.”

The senior student said with a laugh, appearing confident he had Lin Feng cornered.

The academy indeed issued a token a day before the assessment—a wooden plaque engraved with ‘New Student Token’.

All new students received an identical token.

Seniors were given ‘Senior Student Tokens’, and new students could also snatch these from seniors if they defeated them.

Lin Feng pulled out his New Student Token from his storage ring and waved it at the blocking senior, smiling, “Are you talking about this token?

Indeed, it’s in my hand, but it depends on whether you have the ability to take it.”

“Hehe, I didn’t realize you had such a treasure as a storage ring.

Now, it’s not just about snatching the New Student Token.”

The senior eyed Lin Feng’s storage ring at his waist, his gaze turning greedy.

Whoosh.

Suddenly, the senior made his move, springing forward toward Lin Feng with lightning speed.

With this senior’s first strike, Lin Feng felt that the senior’s cultivation was likely around the Martial Master Third Level, very swift, probably having trained in speed-oriented techniques.

Among the seniors, this person must be quite prestigious, no wonder he dared to act alone.

However, despite the senior’s strength, he still fell short when facing Lin Feng.

Facing the senior student’s attack, Lin Feng counterattacked.

Breaking Fist!

Lin Feng did not hold back, directly using the Earth Stage Martial Arts technique, Breaking Fist.

Even in Azure Dragon Academy, the inheritance of Earth Stage Martial Arts was considered top-tier.

“Boy, you dare to strike first?

Truly presumptuous.”

A cold smirk appeared on the senior’s face as he rapidly threw a punch at Lin Feng.

Bang.

The two collided fiercely.

Lin Feng remained unmoved.

The senior, however, was sent flying by Lin Feng’s punch.

His body brutally hit a large tree.

Crack.

The tree broke in the middle.

The senior also fell to the ground, unable to move; his face wore an expression of incredulity as he looked at Lin Feng.

He couldn’t believe that his Martial Master Third Level cultivation had been defeated by a sixteen or seventeen-year-old new student in one strike.

Lin Feng looked indifferent, took the token from the senior, and left without lingering.
