Ancient Dragon Elephant Technique

Chapter 112: Chapter 1 Azure Dragon Academy Examination Chapter 112: Chapter 1 Azure Dragon Academy Examination Although Lin Feng was worried about the retaliation of the Nalan Family, they had not taken any action.

Lin Feng was just remaining cautious.

After all, the Nalan Family had not made any unusual moves.

And day by day,

Jialan Academy was gradually bustling as the day for the enrollment of the Azure Dragon Academy drew closer.

The Azure Dragon Academy was the highest-level academy in the True Martial Country and the cradle of the most powerful.

The most important point was that the Prefecture Master of the Azure Dragon Academy was a strong cultivator from within Sun Moon City.

Which meant that, those students who performed exceptionally within the Azure Dragon Academy

could potentially join the “Ancient Forces.”

They wanted to master the divine skills of Sky Flying and Earth Escaping.

...

They wanted to be immortal like the Immortals in mythological stories.

For that, one needed to join the Ancient Forces, as only they possessed such a potent legacy.

This time, for the assessments, Jialan Academy, Yunhai Academy, and Skywind Academy, whose students had reached the ninth level of the Martial Artist Realm, all qualified to go to the Skywind Academy in Sky Wind City for the assessment.

Azure Dragon Academy enrolled students once every three years, and each enrollment was divided into zones, among them, Jialan Academy, Yunhai Academy, and Skywind Academy belonged to one zone, each of these academies took turns to host the enrollment once every three years.

Three years ago, the enrollment was held at Yunhai Academy, six years ago it had been at Jialan Academy, and this year it was Skywind Academy’s turn.

Those who could participate in the enrollment of Azure Dragon Academy were truly the geniuses of geniuses.

Skywind Academy, Assessment Court Number One!

Over three hundred students gathered there to wait for the test.

Quite a few people were obviously acquainted, chatting while they waited.

Lin Feng and several students from Jialan Academy also huddled together, speaking in low voices.

Not long after, the assessment officer presiding over the assessment walked out.

There were a dozen or so assessment officers present; some were responsible for recording, while others were responsible for overseeing the order on site among other duties, each with different responsibilities.

The chief assessing officer was a middle-aged cultivator.

He glanced at these excited young individuals and couldn’t help feeling a bit sentimental, reminiscing about his youthful green years, indeed a group of enviable young fellows, youth is the capital.

“Open the assessment ground.”

The chief examiner murmured, and then two of the assessing officers opened a large gate at the depth of the courtyard, and under the lead of these officers, everyone gradually entered.

Upon entering, they found a giant cage-like assessment ground surrounded by very sturdy buildings.

“This assessment requires defeating or eliminating the target as an essential condition for passing the assessment.

When you are being assessed, there will also be assessment officers at the site.

If you are unable to overcome the opponent, you can ask for help from the officers; naturally, if they see you in danger, they will also intervene to save you.

However, regardless of the situation, you’ll be deemed to have failed.”

The main assessing officer said in a deep voice.

Everyone nodded!

Clearly, they had already understood the assessments before coming.

At this moment, the main assessing officer smiled slightly, saying, “You all should know, our True Martial Country was previously invaded by Evil Demons, suffering heavy losses.

However, during the battle against the Evil Demon, our country’s Great Forces have slain many, and these demons have hence been made into Puppet Beasts.

This year’s assessment content is about defeating these Evil Demon Puppets.”

Many faces suddenly turned pale.

Evil Demon Puppets were obviously much more powerful than the previous year’s Fierce Beast Puppets.

This year’s test was going to be even more difficult.

“Release the Evil Demon!”

The main assessment officer shouted loudly.

An assessment officer guarding near the cage immediately unlocked it.

Roar.

Then, a deep bellow echoed.

A gigantic creature charged straight out.

This was a massive creature, four to five meters in height and seven to eight meters in length, covered with dark scales, and fiercely ugly.

This was an “Earthly Fiendish Demon.”

Evil Demons also come in many varieties.

Such as Asura, Yaksha, Ox-Headed, Vampire Bats… etc.

Of course, the strength of different Evil Demon species varied.

The stronger the being, the more formidable its combat abilities would become after being forged into a puppet.

For instance, certain Evil Demons, like the Flying Sky Asura from the Asura Clan, would be terrifying if crafted into a puppet since the Flying Sky Asura is capable of flying.

Once they possess the ability to fly, trying to kill them becomes immensely difficult; instead of the test participants slaying the Puppet Beasts, they could be killed by the Flying Sky Asura Puppet.

The Earth Evil Demon in front of them, covered in scales, boasted exceptionally strong defenses and immense strength.

They sensed a terrifying aura emanating from it.

Many students turned pale.

“What a terrifying aura.”

“This year’s test seems more challenging; I wonder if we can pass.”

Some students quietly discussed among themselves below, their faces filled with concern.

“There are two methods of assessment: the first is to volunteer, and the second is by selection,” the chief examiner addressed the students about to participate.

Clearly, those who passed the first method would certainly receive considerable attention from Azure Dragon Academy.

However, many wore worried expressions, afraid to step forward.

It was at this moment that a young man carrying a long spear strode out.

“It’s Yang Jian, the son of the Vice Dean of Flying Dragon Academy, Yang Chan!”

Someone exclaimed in shock.

This person’s identity was extraordinary.

Flying Dragon Academy was among the top three academies in True Martial Country.

Although his father held a prestigious position, Yang Jian didn’t turn out to be a spoiled young master.

Instead, he trained diligently.

And he had been recognized as a genius since childhood.

…

Thus, when Yang Jian stepped forward, many eyes brightened.

“Yang Jian has been practicing spear techniques since he was eight, and it is said that his technique has reached divine mastery,” people whispered among themselves.

The spear is king of all weapons.

Even though it is commonly said, mastering the spear is challenging.

Yet, Yang Jian devoted ten years to mastering his spear skills, achieving the essence of spear arts.

His technique was supposedly comparable to that of a grandmaster.

…

“Good.”

The chief examiner, seeing Yang Jian step out first, nodded in satisfaction.

He waved his large hand, and the giant cage below was opened.

Yang Jian walked forward and jumped down.

“Roar.”

The Earthly Fiendish Demon Puppet roared and pounced directly at Yang Jian.

“Bring it on.”

Facing the attack of the Evil Demon Puppet, Yang Jian shouted as he wielded his long spear and thrust it out three consecutive times.

The first thrust split heaven and earth.

The second pierced through mountains and rivers.

The third stabilized the realms.

Yang Jian launched three successive strikes, each faster than the previous, forcing the Earthly Fiendish Demon Puppet to retreat continuously.

Puff!

With the third thrust, Yang Jian pierced through the chest of the Evil Demon Puppet.

“Ha!”

Yang Jian roared, lifting the massive body of the Evil Demon Puppet, which was as large as a small hill, into the air.
