Tempest of the Stellar War

Heaven’s sacrifice had been worthy. Fire Falcon’s super mech had sustained considerable damage. Of course, Fire Falcon was not unable to fight, only he was not a brave of the nation, but a mercenary. He was here to earn money, not to give his life. If he fought, his mech had to be in good condition. At the same time, he could also raise a request. After all, the opponent was not weak, and there were two Earth rank pros. This was something they had not anticipated at the start.

One was dead, the other still undamaged. And wielding a runic mech from Elite Academy X.

The super mech was still in maintenance. The country in the shadows was supporting it, and it would be done in two days’ time. Blue Demon wanted to go against the runic mech that had stood in his way. The opponent’s Ability X level was good, but not at his level. And his interest was piqued. If he could kill this person, not only would he elevate his ability, but also his reputation. Reputation meant asking price, which meant more deterrence.

Heaven was dead. Fire Falcon’s ranking could probably go up a notch. If Heaven had been using a super mech, the effect would have been better.

Although they had faced some minor setbacks, Facaul and Hannibal were still in a good mood, chatting easily and awaiting the next order.

Heaven’s death had bought precious time for Tita Star. At this stage, Mu Sen and Lan Ling understood that the opponent had already set their mind on destroying Tita’s might. The Titan order had been given. All the non-fighting Tita people would hide in the deep caves, and await the conclusion of the battle. And the Tita fighters started to congregate at the Nomiya region.

The Tita people had abandoned the cities. The opponent had destroyed the two cities needlessly. No matter who won, cities were still essential. Rather than destroy the core of the homeland, why not choose a suitable terrain to fight a deciding battle against the invaders?

Urbanization levels became zero.

The Allied army commanding officer, Mu Lei, felt regretful. This was an unequal battle. They should definitely win. As military, he longed for battle, and was not opposed to the existence of the super soldiers. But this was politics, and he had to comply. Clearly, the council had lost all interest in the Tita people. Aboriginals were always resistant to the times. Within a week, they would have had thoroughly eradicated life on Tita Star. Of course, the cities and some of the aboriginal labor should be preserved. After all, the ultimate goal of this invasion was development.

Mu Lei could not care less about that super-gravity energy ore. That was the concern of the force allocators. He hankered to leave his own mark in this battle. He could not let the two super soldiers take all the glory. But the way things were shaping up, Tita Star could not hold. His command was just a matter of formality, and held little interest.

“Report, General!”

Mu Lei looked coldly at the colonel. “What is it?”

“Blue Demon requests to attack alone. He hopes for your favor on this, and he will remember your goodwill.”

“Oh?” Mu Lei took a deep pull on his cigar and blew a white cloud of smoke. A glimmer of good humor was on his lips. “Let him go, then. He may take it as an order.”

“Yes, Sir!”

The colonel snapped to a respectful salute and left.

This battle was filled with desires and ambition, even for the super soldiers. To Blue Demon, finishing off a runic mech-wielding super soldier would greatly aid in his rise. But if it died in the chaos of battle, then it would not affect him. And it might be snatched away by Fire Falcon.

But this matter could not be raised directly by Hannibal. Mu Lei naturally understood his intention. It has to be said that the utility of super soldiers was increasing every day.

After Titatitan Star had been sealed off, the international clamor had been vigorous. But out of the various major federations, there was no big stir, besides a Solar System council member’s protests. This was first and foremost a regional dispute, and they had no position to interfere. Their words were merely hot air. And the superpowers were watching out for their own interests.

Luckily, Xiao Fei had alerted them, and Ye Zisu hurried to notify Ai Xiaolu. The two had secured cooperation by moving the box. Sharing this technology meant a lot to some countries. Ai Financial Group, because of Wang Zheng’s situation, had already taken a position. With this additional bargaining chip, there was ample reason to take action.

Ai Xiaolu already had confirmed news on her end. The Hail Cloud Alliance would intervene. Besides, another Alliance ally, Lya Sphinx, had also decided to take a hand. In such matters, one country alone was insufficient. Two major countries declaring support at the same time – and three, if Ye Zisu could galvanize the Solar System Federation – then three of the 10 governing countries would be in support. The situation would clearly shift.

However, the disclaimer was that Tita Star could survive the first attack. If they could not bring the allied troops to a stalemate, then this was all for naught. The Hail Cloud Alliance and Lya Sphinx could not send troops to support the battle.

Also, no matter what the end result, the box technology had to be shared.

On this matter, Ai Xiaolu did not mind in the slightest. The agreement had been decided based on the two countries’ abilities and urgency. And realistically, if Ai Financial Group had not intervened, then even if Earth was willing to offer these conditions, the other party might still not accept.

A complete mobilization. This was part of growing up.

Ai Xiaolu’s EQ was relatively high. She was good at controlling her emotions. Even if she admired, and even liked Wang Zheng a little, she could logically quell this feeling and think far ahead. But now that things had come to this point, she felt that Wang Zheng’s chances of success were 30% at best.

The rise of any new power would meet enormous counter attacks. Let alone a planet.

But danger and opportunity came hand in hand. That was Ai Xiaolu’s world. She wanted to see how capable Wang Zheng truly was!

On what basis did the Tita people accord an ordinary human such great reverence?

Elite Academy X was completely unaffected by the Tita Star situation. The Greatest King competition had started again, and the most interested were the few major military schools from Earth. It was rare that their existences manifested. The students could not help but pay attention to it.

But after news of the current state of Saruman Snake Battle Team reached the Solar System, the excitement turned to dismay!

Saruman Snake Battle Team, in Wang Zheng’s temporary absence, had seen Achilles replace him as leader. At the same time, Snow Li had left, Vincent had left…

They had secured Lie Xin, an excellent replacement. But what kind of mummery was this?

And the other, Oli? An Arbiter whose situation was unclear. This left many worried.

The Ares College students’ slowly welling anticipation had suddenly cooled in an instant.

Whether Snow Li or Vincent, they had been irreplaceable components in Saruman Snake Battle Team’s fighting power. Could the two new girls really make up for the loss of these two?

What was Wang Zheng playing at? Where had he gone?

The reason seemed to be fulfilling a training mission. This was very common in Elite Academy X – Yang Pan and many others had been the same way. But Wang Zheng was only in his second year. Was there a need? And at such a crucial moment?
