Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1810: That… really give him a surprise!

“How many points do I deserve, LOG?”

[…]

No answer came.

Young Aether waited for several seconds before sighing in disappointment.

^Points? What are you talking about? And, for your information, it’s RIN.^

RIN’s voice finally appeared inside his mind, carrying obvious confusion as she questioned why he had suddenly started talking to her.

Young Aether smirked.

“I don’t know~”

He casually shrugged before inserting the key into the door.

^What do you mean you don’t know? You suddenly started talking about points, and now you’re pretending you don’t understand the question?^

RIN continued questioning him relentlessly, sounding suspiciously similar to a wife who had just discovered something questionable on her husband’s phone.

Young Aether simply opened the door and let every single word pass through one ear before escaping through the other.

He had learned long ago that sometimes the safest way to survive RIN’s questions was simply to pretend he hadn’t heard them.

The moment he stepped inside, however, his expression changed slightly.

The exterior had looked old enough to collapse under a strong gust of wind, but the interior was completely different.

The wooden floors were spotless.

The furniture was simple but neatly arranged.

The air smelled fresh, and everything was clean enough to suggest that someone had recently gone through the entire house and carefully prepared it for a guest.

Young Aether slowly looked around.

“Huh…”

He hadn’t expected that.

^What do you mean you don’t know? Answer me properly!^

RIN continued complaining from the earpiece, refusing to let the previous conversation die.

Young Aether didn’t respond.

Instead, he yawned and rubbed the back of his head.

“Ah… I feel so sleepy,” he muttered, rubbing the back of his head as though the lingering pain from earlier was still affecting his body.

He hadn’t been exaggerating when he said he had immediately updated his Null-Return Point.

The amount of pressure on his body and mind was so intense that it had felt as though something inside him was being forcibly stretched until it was on the verge of splitting apart.

The pain still lingered somewhere deep within his mind.

He walked toward the wooden bed without bothering to remove his boots or even change his clothes.

The moment his body touched the mattress, he collapsed backwards.

“Five minutes…”

He mumbled the words with half-closed eyes.

“I’ll just rest for five minutes.”

RIN immediately continued talking.

^You haven’t answered my question yet!^

Young Aether didn’t respond.

Within seconds, his breathing became slow and steady.

He had fallen completely asleep.

When he finally woke up, Young Aether felt completely refreshed, as though the exhaustion that had weighed down his body had been washed away during his long sleep.

“Fuck… the headache finally disappeared,” he muttered with a relieved expression as he slowly sat up and rubbed the back of his neck.

He glanced around the unfamiliar ceiling.

“What time is it?”

^It’s already midnight,^ RIN replied in a slightly pouty tone.

Young Aether raised his eyebrows in surprise.

“Midnight? I slept that long?”

He looked toward the bed again before shrugging.

“Well, I might as well continue sleeping until morning.”

He muttered the words as he settled back down and prepared to close his eyes… however, his stomach growled with hunger.

‘Didn’t I eat already?’ he wondered as he rubbed his growling stomach before he could even get comfortable, RIN spoke again.

^Are you really not going to tell me?^

Her voice had changed.

It sounded almost like a wife who had spent hours waiting for her husband to explain himself and had finally reached the last thread of her patience.

Young Aether sighed and shook his head.

“Just like you, I talk to someone who’s inside me.”

^…Calling the psychiatric unit for Mental Illness.^

“You fucking bitch! Stop!”

^Just kidding… ahaha.^

RIN chuckled mischievously.

Young Aether stared at the ceiling in silence.

“…”

After enjoying his irritation for a moment, RIN finally returned to the matter that had been bothering her.

^But seriously… what points are you talking about?^

Young Aether raised his eyebrows.

“So you’re curious about the points now?”

^Of course I’m curious! You suddenly started talking about points as though I was supposed to understand what you meant. What exactly were you talking about?^

Young Aether smiled faintly.

“Well, I was talking about how convincing my acting was.”

^Acting? You mean… your ex?^

“Yup.”

^You mean everything you said about her was just an act?^

“Yes.”

^For real?^

“Indeed.”

^…^

“…”

A long, dead silence filled the room.

Then RIN suddenly exploded.

^Oh my fucking god! You actually managed to trick even my behavioural module?! How the hell did you do that?! I… I genuinely thought you still loved her! Then what’s with all that curiosity about her?! Why were you remembering every tiny thing about her?! I don’t understand! I seriously don’t fucking understand!^

RIN sounded genuinely panicked, as though every piece of information she had collected about Young Aether had suddenly been thrown into a blender.

Young Aether merely folded his hands behind his head and stared at the empty ceiling, quietly amused by how completely lost she had become.

RIN growled on the earpiece, clearly frustrated that she couldn’t make sense of him.

^What are you going to do?! You kept asking whether she was alive as though you desperately missed her, and now you’re telling me that entire thing was acting?!

Bro, please! Your heart rate increases every single time her name comes up! How the hell is that supposed to be a lie?!^

Young Aether shrugged casually.

“Maybe… but do you know why I wanted to see her?”

^…Why?^

This time, RIN’s response came with a slight hesitation.

There was something different in her voice, almost as though she was genuinely afraid of the answer she was about to receive.

Young Aether’s amused expression slowly disappeared.

The warmth vanished from his eyes.

His gaze became cold enough to make the darkness of the room feel heavier.

“Since I couldn’t kill my mother…”

He paused for a moment.

“Lucky for that bitch, she died.”

His voice remained frighteningly calm.

“But I always wished…”

His eyes slowly darkened.

“…to end at least this bitch with my own hands.”

^….^

RIN didn’t respond.

Young Aether suddenly laughed under his breath.

“What?”

His lips curled into a dark smile.

“You thought I was going to say something like, ‘Oh, my lovely ex, I missed you so much. How about a lovely kiss?’ Come here, baby~ Give me a long missing kiss~Chu~Chu~Chu~”

His voice carried a mocking edge as he continued.

“Fuck me!”

His smile disappeared completely.

“Everyone will pay the price for what they’ve done to me.”

The darkness spread across his eyes until his irises and pupils were completely swallowed by blackness, leaving behind nothing recognisable as emotion.

There was no longing.

No sadness or affection.

Only an abyss staring back from beneath his expression.

For several seconds, he remained completely still.

Then his lips slowly curled upward again.

^…^

RIN fell silent.

Young Aether continued, his eyes gradually returning to normal.

“Since everyone said the last time she was seen was inside the Alpha Division… I think maybe we should search for her, since I’m already in Alpha… Hehe~”

As he quietly pieced together a plan in his mind, however,

^Well, actually, you are not in the Alpha Division.^

Young Aether blinked.

“What? But we closed the windows for safety precautions while entering the Alpha city, right?”

^Yes. We technically travelled through Alpha to reach here, but we are not actually in Alpha.^

“…Then where are we?”

^We are currently staying in Zeta City.^

Young Aether raised his eyebrows.

“Zeta… Ah… okay.”

He nodded slowly, still trying to process that information. He had genuinely believed they were inside Alpha City, and none of his friends had bothered to inform him otherwise.

He believed he was inside Alpha City… but then his expression suddenly tightened.

“Wait… But haven’t you said that there wouldn’t be a neural network in some divisions like… Beta, Epsilon, and Zeta or something, correct? That you cannot operate inside them?”

^….^

“Oi…”

Young Aether frowned as he waited for an explanation.

^… You know the device we created that is attached to your hip, correct?^

Young Aether nodded and pulled his pants down slightly. Near the edge of his underwear, a small strap was secured around his hip, holding a tiny rectangular device. A faint indicator light blinked quietly from its surface.

“The one that can detect nearby mech-suits or any other energy interface to help keep me alert?”

^…Yeah, that one. Not just that, though. It also acts as a reserve energy service and memory storage module, diverting a single wave while processing the quantum–^

“English.”

^…VPN?^

“Huh?”

^It acts like a VPN. I store my local module inside the memory module and connect to Delta’s security parameter and transmit the data that I’m still in Delta City to the neural network. Also works as a backup of LLMs^

“…”

Young Aether remained silent for a moment.

His eyes slowly narrowed as he stared into empty space, as if his mind were struggling to process what he had just heard.

“So… you’re telling me that while we’re physically in Zeta City, you’re making the neural network think we’re still in Delta City? But why haven’t I heard it before? Why did you hide? Huh?”

^I wasn’t trying to hide it… I just thought there was no need to inform you. I mean, I just want to help you in any way I can… so I prepared this in case… You know… all of you?^

RIN could only hope he could get away with that lame excuse.

Young Aether quietly stared at the device on his hip. As much as he wanted to rip it off for hiding this matter from him, he knew how much RIN had helped him so far. Without her, he wasn’t even sure how he would have infiltrated Delta City without running into any major issues.

She was like luck to him in this world.

So…

“Next time, you better tell me the truth, got it?”

He said it coldly.

^Okay~^

RIN happily replied.

Young Aether sighed and shook his head.

“Zeta… Fuck. Now I need to get to Alpha. How the hell am I supposed to go there? Hmm…”

As he thought about it, another question suddenly came to mind.

“Zeta Division… what is this place for? I mean… Beta is for genetics, while Delta is for military purposes, so… does this division have some kind of core purpose?”

He considered several possibilities. Maybe it was responsible for food manufacturing, military training, education, or something else that would logically fit into the structure of the six divisions.

Then RIN answered.

^I don’t have much data relating to Zeta except…

This is the Brothel Division.^

“Oh, okay… Wait! What? Brothel?”

Of all the things he expected to hear, that was certainly not one of them.

His face twisted slightly as he stared ahead.

Was she serious?

Had he really heard that word correctly?

Maybe it meant something different in this world…

He seriously hoped that was the case.

“Brothel? You mean… selling—”

^Yes. This is a place where pleasure plays an important role throughout the entire Empire. Other than that, I don’t have any information. If I try to pry any further, I might be flagged as a danger, and the Mother System would find me instantly.^

RIN’s voice carried an unusually frightened tone.

Young Aether, on the other hand, was utterly confused by what he had just heard.

What the fuck did she mean by pleasure playing an important role?

Why the hell was Brothel an entire division instead of just a small area or district?

He was a ruler, so he understood more or less how these things worked, and he wasn’t against such professions as long as nobody was being forced into them or trapped by debt.

He had seen both women and men take such work as a profession, and he held no prejudice against them.

But those were usually small establishments… perhaps a hotel or a designated district somewhere on the outskirts or in a corner of a city.

That was all there was to it.

There was no way someone had built an entire division dedicated to nothing but pleasure.

And most of all…

“Why the fuck is Allen staying here with his kids?” he muttered in utter shock.

That realisation somehow shocked him even more.

‘Come to think of it, he mentioned not to look outside at night, right?’

The thought suddenly returned to him. Young Aether immediately stood up and walked out of the wooden house.

The moment he stepped outside, his entire face was washed in a sea of purple and pink light.

The air carried an intoxicating fragrance that drifted through the streets, mixed with the faint scent of perfume and something sweeter.

He slowly lifted his head.

His expression froze.

The quiet little wooden house he had been staying in was surrounded by something that looked nothing like the peaceful city he had imagined.

Zeta City stretched endlessly before him.

Towering skyscrapers pierced the night sky, their black metallic frames covered in layers of glowing advertisements.

Purple, pink, crimson, and violet neon lights spilt across every street, reflecting from glass buildings and polished metal walkways.

Massive holographic women hovered above entire buildings, their bodies displayed in deliberately provocative poses, dressed in barely-there lingerie, translucent fabrics, or elaborate outfits designed more to reveal than conceal.

Some advertisements showed women with enormous breasts barely contained beneath jewelled bras, their areolae showing partially, hiding their protruding nipples, while others emphasised exposed backs, narrow waists, and curving ass.

And some even spread their legs, showing their folds through the tight suit.

Giant screens advertised companionship, private entertainment, luxury escorts, fantasy experiences, exclusive clubs, and every imaginable form of adult pleasure.

And it wasn’t limited to advertisements.

Women walked openly through the streets wearing revealing dresses, lingerie-like outfits, high heels, leather garments, and transparent fabrics that left very little to the imagination.

Some leaned against entrances, smiling at passing customers and running their fingers through their hair as they flirted with them.

Five women surrounded a single man, rubbing and touching his body seductively.

Others stood in groups outside glowing clubs, laughing and touching each other’s arms, fondling boobs, pressing pussy, teasing while trying to attract the attention of people passing by.

It wasn’t only the women.

Men were everywhere too, dressed in clothing just as deliberately provocative.

Some wore open-chested silk shirts that exposed their muscular torsos, the fabric hanging loosely around their shoulders as they leaned against illuminated club entrances.

Others wore tight leather pants, sleeveless tops, harness-like accessories, or expensive suits deliberately left open at the chest.

A few walked through the streets that emphasised their broad shoulders, narrow waists, and physiques and bulging cock.

They stood beneath glowing signs with confident smiles, posing for passing customers while running their fingers through their hair or adjusting their collars and clenching their cock… winking at them.

The women screamed with lust.

Others sat in luxurious lounges surrounded by groups of women and men, laughing, drinking, and flirting beneath the dim purple lighting and touching… everyplace in broad light!!

There were advertisements featuring men as well.

Massive holographic displays showed handsome men reclining across velvet furniture, dressed in nothing more than expensive trousers that showed their humongous dick that threatened to break the expensive trousers.

While others posed beside a beautiful single woman sitting on the sofa while five big, thick black men stood behind her as if… she was going to have a blast!

Men flirted with women.

Women flirted with men.

Everywhere Aether looked, people were drinking, laughing, flirting, dancing, embracing, or simply enjoying themselves beneath the endless purple glow.

The air itself carried the heavy scent of perfume, alcohol, expensive cosmetics, and something sweet that Aether couldn’t quite identify.

Young Aether stood at the entrance of the wooden house, completely motionless.

Purple neon reflected across his face.

Everywhere he looked, the city seemed designed around one thing.

Pleasure!

His mouth slowly fell open.

“Oh…. My…. FUCK!!!”
