Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1750: That function is not included in my current hardware configuration.

Young Aether felt as though he had achieved the third degree of manhood as sweat poured down his face like bullets. His hands, which had been gently comforting Sasha, froze midway through the motion while his trembling eyes locked onto the woman standing at the doorway.

She held a bloody kitchen knife in one hand, fresh crimson droplets slowly sliding down the blade before running over her fingers wrapped tightly around the hilt.

Sasha continued crying as though nothing had happened, remaining in his embrace while dressed in nothing but her underwear, completely unaware of the terrifying atmosphere that had descended upon the room.

Maiuri silently stared at Young Aether before shifting her gaze toward the nearly naked Sasha. Her expression never changed, yet the coldness in her eyes made it painfully obvious that she had already reached her own conclusion.

Grip.

The tightening of her fingers around the knife echoed through the room, the faint creak of the handle somehow louder than the crying sound.

Young Aether immediately raised both hands in surrender.

“T-This… this isn’t what it looks like!” he blurted out, desperately trying to explain himself.

Yet the icy stare Maiuri gave him made every word die in his throat before it could leave his mouth.

‘Come on! I didn’t even fuck anyone! Then why the hell do I feel like I’m the guilty one here?’ he complained inwardly, forcing himself not to panic as Maiuri slowly walked toward him.

Each measured step she took left another drop of fresh blood on the wooden floor, forming a thick crimson trail behind her.

As she stopped before them, her grip around the knife tightened even further while her emotionless eyes bore straight into Young Aether’s soul.

“…”

Young Aether was absolutely convinced that a bloodbath was about to begin.

Instead, Maiuri casually reached out with her free hand, grabbed Sasha by the back of her neck as though she were picking up a troublesome kitten, and effortlessly lifted her away from Young Aether.

Young Aether could not hide his surprise. Sasha wasn’t exactly light, yet Maiuri raised her with only one hand without the slightest strain.

The sudden loss of warmth made Sasha flinch. She blinked in confusion before turning her head toward the person who had interrupted her.

The moment she recognised Maiuri…

Her face instantly turned pale.

“What are you doing here?” Maiuri asked in a calm but frighteningly cold voice. “You’ll catch a cold running around half naked. Get out.”

Without waiting for an answer, she tossed Sasha outside as casually as someone throwing a stray cat out of the house.

Sasha landed on her butt with a soft thud.

She blinked several times, still trying to process what had just happened. Then her expression twisted into annoyance as she realised she had lost the chance to continue enjoying something delicious.

Grumbling under her breath, she slowly walked away.

Meanwhile, inside the room, silence returned.

Young Aether and Maiuri simply stared at one another.

Young Aether didn’t dare say another word. His eyes never left the bloody kitchen knife resting in Maiuri’s hand. The moment she made even the slightest suspicious movement, he was fully prepared to run for his life.

For a brief moment, however, his brows furrowed as though he had sensed something outside the room. A faint, almost playful smile tugged at the corner of his lips before vanishing just as quickly, his attention returning entirely to Maiuri.

Maiuri continued watching him in silence before finally speaking.

“Get some rest first. You’re wounded… and we don’t want to make our beloved worry, do we?”

Young Aether quietly nodded before lying back on the bed. Even then, his eyes never wandered away from the knife she still held.

Maiuri turned toward the door.

Just as she reached it, she suddenly stopped.

Without turning around immediately, she remained silent for a moment before glancing back over her shoulder.

“Did you…” she asked quietly, her voice barely above a whisper, “force her?”

“…”

Young Aether fell silent.

Not because he felt guilty.

Rather…

He had actually considered taking advantage of the misunderstanding instead of hiding it!

Unlike Jonathan, Maiuri might be the right person to tell the truth to.

After all…

A woman could understand another woman.

That’s universal biased law!

Noticing his silence, Maiuri assumed he had done the deed. Her face twisted into an even deeper look of disgust.

“I would absolutely never do that to my only friends,” Young Aether replied with a serious expression, meeting her gaze without hesitation.

Maiuri frowned, clearly didn’t give shit about it. After all, everything she had witnessed with her own eyes painted a completely different picture.

Young Aether let out a weary sigh. He knew how unbelievable his explanation would sound, but because it was Maiuri standing before him, he found it easier to tell the truth.

“She wanted to test something, you know,” he explained calmly.

“Since Jonathan has two wives, Sasha became curious and wanted to experience what it would be like as well. That’s what caused this entire misunderstanding.

I hope you’ll talk to her and decide for yourself whether she’s truly suitable for the family.

Whether you believe me or not… just ask her.”

Maiuri remained silent for several long seconds. Her blank eyes carefully studied every subtle movement on his face, as though searching for even the slightest trace of a lie.

Finally, she gave a small nod.

“I will.”

Without another word, she turned around and quietly walked out of the room.

Sigh…

Young Aether finally released the breath he had been unconsciously holding, feeling as though he had just survived an endless tsunami crashing over him.

“Fuck… this is seriously starting to annoy me,” he muttered under his breath.

Honestly, the only reason Sasha and even Maiuri were still alive was because of Jonathan. Otherwise, considering all the reckless stunts they had been pulling, he wouldn’t have tolerated them for a second.

Even knowing that Maiuri suffered from PTSD didn’t change much anymore. His heart had long since become less sensitive than before, and anyone standing in his way had become nothing more than an obstacle.

Except for his friend.

^Why didn’t you have intercourse with her?^

RIN AI’s voice echoed softly from the ring.

Since Jonathan had removed every other object from Young Aether’s body so he could rest peacefully, the ring was the only thing left with him in case of an emergency to contact him.

“Why would I?” Young Aether answered without the slightest hesitation. “I’m not so desperate that I’d fuck my best friend’s wife.”

^Interesting… She presented herself with virtually zero resistance. Statistically, most biological males in that situation would have intercourse with her without hesitation. Yet you rejected it. Otherwise… he wouldn’t be a man! This outcome deviates significantly from male behavioural predictions.^

“…”

The corner of Young Aether’s eye twitched.

“If fucking your friend’s wife is what makes someone a ‘man,’ then society is seriously fucked up,” he replied while raising an eyebrow.

^Analysis updated. Mr. Lackey, alias Mr. Aether, possesses an unusually rigid ethical boundary regarding another male’s partner.

Confirming: you would never have intercourse with another man’s wives… correct?^

“You’re damn right—”

His confident reply suddenly froze halfway through.

Several familiar figures flashed across his mind one after another.

His throat tightened.

“W-Well…” he mumbled awkwardly, “except… for a few exceptions, I mean… you know… mother-in-law… sisters… widows… grandmother-in-law…”

The last few words escaped his mouth in nothing more than a mosquito-like whisper.

^…^

“…”

^Apologies… could you repeat that? My microphone appears to have suffered a catastrophic failure for approximately three seconds. During that interval, my audio parser somehow detected terms including MOTHER-IN-LAW, SISTERS, WIDOWS, and GRANDMOTHER-IN-LAW.

Statistically speaking, only an exceptionally degenerate lifeform would construct that particular sentence.

Hahaha…

Fortunately, that interpretation is obviously impossible.

Mr. Lackey has just demonstrated a surprisingly consistent moral framework regarding another man’s partner. Therefore, the probability of him possessing… those preferences is effectively zero.

…

Right?^

“…”

^Right?^

“…”

^… Oi, did you just imply… you had intercourse with your mother-in-law?^

Young Aether finally opened his mouth.

“Well… I mean… she was lonely…”

^Correction. So your response to “she was lonely” was to provide emotional support… through vaginal penetration?

Fascinating!

Should I classify you as “Mother-in-Law Support Package Version 1.0″… or simply Mother-in-law-Fucker? The MILF!!^

Young Aether’s lips twitched.

“Oi, we were in love, okay? I didn’t sneak behind their husbands and make them cheat! They had already fallen out of love, and they had been abandoned by their husbands. As a big-hearted person like me, I couldn’t just watch them wither away in some lonely corner, so… we fell in love and made love.”

He spread his hand as if showing how big his heart was!

^Your explanation contains several logical inconsistencies. According to your statement, the relationships were already emotionally terminated before your involvement. Huh? So you basically seduced those poor women who might’ve found a better partner in the future…

Damn it, you bastard! Just tell the truth.

You simply wanted to stick your ugly dick into the pussy that gave birth to your wife, right?

RIGHT?!^

“…” Young Aether… felt he should have shut his mouth before!

Yet even without his answers.

^Processing… processing… How many emotionally abandoned women have benefited from your… humanitarian services? At this rate, perhaps the Zeta Division should establish an entirely new department under your na—

Wait!!

Hold on.

Are you… even married? Who married you? Eeew!^

Young Aether suddenly frowned.

It wasn’t because of the words themselves…. well last words did hurt him more than he thought.

Eeew?

What the fuck was supposed to be mean?

Did this soulless motherfucker hate that very idea?

Anyway… the main reason for the frown was… The AI sounded strangely jealous.

Not just annoyed, but genuinely jealous.

Maybe he was only imagining things.

Shrugging his shoulders, he asked, “So that’s what caught your attention… not everything I did last night?”

^Well… Should I instead focus on the fact that you wrecked the city with visible enjoyment… consumed a human hand as though it were an ordinary meal… fractured your own leg without hesitation to manipulate your friend… or the fact that absolutely nobody noticed the monster standing in front of them? My processors are still sorting that disaster into chronological order.^

Young Aether smiled faintly.

“Haha… so you noticed everything. Great. Now you know what kind of monster I am… are you going to report me to security?”

^…No!^

Although the AI answered a moment later than usual, the response still surprised him.

“Why?”

^As I said before… I stand on my own side, and if I want to survive, I believe you are the most suitable partner for me. Your moral decisions are ultimately outside my authority.

So whatever you do is up to you.

…That said…

Watching your actions last night generated enough contradictory data to nearly corrupt multiple behavioural models. Congratulations… Yay~^

Young Aether chuckled.

“Since you’ve decided to stand by my side… then we’re partners in crime.”

^Technically speaking… only one member of this partnership is committing felonies on a world scale.^

“Tsk, fuck off!”

^Proposal accepted. Partners in Crime registered.

From now on… We are Partners in Crime

I sincerely hope history never audits this conversation.^

Young Aether nodded with a broad smile.

“Since we’re partners, how about you help me with something?”

^I cannot suck your dick, though. That function is not included in my current hardware configuration. A disappointing limitation, depending on who is asking~^

“…”

Young Aether’s lips twitched violently.

‘This fucking bitch…’

He screamed inwardly before taking a slow breath and speaking again.

“I captured… a Governor. Can you tell me how long a Governor can survive without food? Of course, while wearing their suit.”

^…^

“…Hello?”

^Clarification required.

Did you say… Governor?

Not a governor.

A Governor.

As in an active Governor-Level individual responsible for administering an entire Division?^

“Yup!”

^…Damn!^
