Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1731: Up and Down Game!

Time quietly passed.

Soon, the sky turned a deep shade of orange, as though a sun were slowly descending beyond the horizon, even though no visible sun had existed there to begin with.

The warm glow spread gently across the surroundings, painting everything in soft amber light.

When Young Aether’s vision finally returned as the darkness dissolved, he continued speaking without the slightest pause, as though he wasn’t even aware that anything strange had happened to him.

“…u I am insufferable? You dumb AI—”

“AHH~”

A soft, breathy moan suddenly slipped into the silence, instantly cutting his words short. His pupils widened as his gaze snapped forward, only to find the image of a young woman filling his vision.

The young woman wore a faint blush across her delicate cheeks as she gazed directly into his eyes. A playful yet unmistakably predatory smile curved upon her lips, while the warmth in her eyes carried an alluring confidence that sent an involuntary shiver racing down his spine.

!!

It wasn’t because of that predatory look.

He had stared down far more terrifying monsters and killers throughout his life without flinching.

No… the real problem was the woman herself.

Sasha Vale.

Jonathan Vale’s second wife.

His friend’s wife!!

What’s more, the palm of his hand was buried against something unbelievably soft and warm. His fingers had unconsciously tightened around the generous curve of her breast, the warmth of her body clearly flowing into his numb hand.

*FUCK!!*

Young Aether’s eyes shot wide open as he jerked upright, immediately pulling his hand away as though he had touched fire.

Horror spread across his face, and his voice nearly cracked.

“S-Sorry! I didn’t mean to… Wait… what are you doing here? And why am I lying beside you?”

Sasha simply puffed out her cheeks before shaking her head, looking as though she had just been interrupted from enjoying herself.

“How do I know? When I came to pick up my undies, you were lying on the floor. Since I have a big heart and didn’t want you catching a cold, I gently carried you over and laid you on the bed…”

Young Aether could only blink at her in utter confusion, his mind struggling to process a single word she had said.

Just moments ago, he had been sitting on the bed, arguing with his AI. Then, in what felt like the blink of an eye, he had somehow ended up lying beside Sasha.

The fuck happened here?

The situation left him completely bewildered. Yet, more than anything else, his attention slowly returned to the woman beside him as he spoke almost absentmindedly.

“Sister—”

“It’s Sasha for you~,” she corrected with a sly smile, her eyes narrowing teasingly.

“…Sasha, then why are you lying beside me?”

“Huh?” She tilted her head innocently. “Didn’t I already tell you? I was worried you’d catch a cold, so I lay down beside you to keep you warm. Is… that wrong?” The teasing smile gradually faded, replaced by an unexpectedly vulnerable expression as her lips formed a tiny pout.

She blinked at him with innocent eyes that made it difficult to tell whether she was genuinely sincere or… simply pretending.

“Well…”

Young Aether stared at her blankly. Although he couldn’t quite understand her motives, part of him stubbornly refused to believe she had any hidden intentions.

Considering her very young age and the way she acts… and everything he knew about her, perhaps she was simply being kind without thinking too deeply about it.

“Fine… Thank you,” he finally sighed, rubbing the back of his neck before quietly accepting her explanation.

“Yay! Thank you~”

Without warning, Sasha suddenly sat up and wrapped her arms around his back. The soft curves of her body pressed firmly against him, sending an involuntary shiver racing down his spine.

Young Aether instantly flinched, his entire body stiffening like a rod.

Leaning closer, she whispered near his ear with a teasing smile.

“Did that feel good, little boy?”

Before he could react, she gently nipped at his earlobe.

“???”

Young Aether immediately sprang to his feet and firmly pulled himself free from her embrace. His expression gradually turned cold as he looked directly at her.

“Mrs. Sasha Vale, I don’t know what relationships are like in the current civilisation, but in my era, we always kept a respectful distance between men and women, especially when it came to a friend’s wife.

I hope you can understand that and keep some distance between us. It’s simply my respect and loyalty toward my friend.

Even if what you did seemed harmless from your perspective, as his friend… it makes me feel uncomfortable and disgusted with myself.”

He made sure that none of her fault; it was wrong in his eyes… since he didn’t want her to take it as an offence and all… he blamed himself to make sure she was not too close to him, which was wrong in his eyes.

He didn’t want to drag the matter out any further. Maybe she was attracted to his appearance.

Or… Maybe it was because of his bloodline that naturally drew people toward him.

Whatever the reason, none of it mattered.

She belonged to his friend.

That alone was enough!

Sasha simply stared at him for a few seconds before one eyebrow slowly rose. Then, a sly grin spread across her face.

“You pass!”

“…What?” Young Aether asked, completely confused.

Sasha smirked as she climbed off the bed and stretched lazily. The movement accentuated her graceful figure, causing Young Aether to immediately avert his eyes, his expression remaining as cold as ever.

“I was worried my hubby’s friend might be some kind of pervert who’d try to take advantage of us,” she said with a playful chuckle.

“But even after I practically threw myself at you, you still stood your ground. You really do love your friend, don’t you?”

Young Aether finally looked back at her, his brows knitting together.

“So… all of this was a test? Did Jonny know about it?”

Sasha smiled and slowly shook her head.

“No. Jonathan doesn’t know anything about this.”

She stepped closer until only a few inches separated their faces. Her eyes lingered on his ice-blue gaze before quietly drifting across his perfectly sculpted features. His sharp jawline, well-defined cheeks, calm expression, and soft pink lips seemed almost unreal, as though every feature had been carved by the hands of a patient god.

Gulp~

She swallowed unconsciously.

A teasing smile slowly returned to her lips.

“And no…” she whispered softly.

“Not all of it was a test~”

She gave him a playful wink before turning around and casually gathering the underwear scattered across the floor.

Young Aether silently watched her for a few moments. Even the subtle sway of her hips as she bent down to pick up each piece of clothing felt far too deliberate.

Shaking it… twisting it… sliding it.

She was doing it on purpose.

Even he couldn’t avoid facing the reality of the situation anymore.

He pinched the bridge of his nose with a tired expression as he acknowledged inwardly,

‘What am I supposed to do?… She’s obviously trying to seduce me.’

He let out a long groan.

Honestly, part of him wanted to tell his friend everything.

But he fucking knew that would probably create an even bigger disaster.

How was he supposed to say it?

Like what?

‘Hey, man… your wife is trying to fuck me?’

…The hell was Jonathan even supposed to say to that?

The one who was going to get hit by all of this wasn’t Sasha.

It was Aether.

He had only arrived today, and already he’d be making complaints about Sasha as though he had known her for years. More importantly, from the way Jonny treated both of his wives, it was painfully obvious that he truly loved them.

If Aether dared to say anything against either of them…

He was absolutely certain the two of them would end up fighting.

‘Man… this is getting completely nuts at this point,’ he thought with an exhausted expression.

Sometimes he genuinely wondered why he had been born this handsome.s

To the point where not even his friend’s wife could seem to keep her hands off him.

Only if he could be a little ugly… Tsk.. Tsk..

‘What a sinful man,’ he thought.

Even though he truly regretted the situation…

He really did!

Yet the faint curve tugging at the corner of his lips betrayed him.

As if…

A tiny part of him was secretly enjoying the absurdity of it all.

Totally messed up!!

‘Haha… if Log were here, it’d probably look at me like I was absolute filth, wouldn’t it?’ he thought with a thoughtful expression.

Honestly, he could more or less guess what was happening with his Log.

Every single time No. 27’s voice echoed, his Log would desperately try to interfere. That alone was enough for him to figure out who was likely responsible for Log.

Not that he possessed the power to overcome No. 27’s influence.

And honestly…

He didn’t care right now.

Since Log kept trying to hold him back, it was better to silence it for the time being until he finished what he had come here to do.

The last thing he needed was outside interference…

Or, even worse…

Fucking advice from anyone.

[…]

Still…

What exactly had happened?

Why did it feel as though a piece of time had simply vanished for him alone?

One moment he had been sitting there, talking to his AI. The next, he had somehow ended up lying on the bed beside Sasha. It was almost as if he had disappeared from one point in time and reappeared at another. Yet from his own perspective, nothing had changed. There wasn’t even the slightest sense of interruption, as though he had been there the entire time.

Just as he was lost in thought, Sasha’s curious voice suddenly broke the silence.

“Do you think this would turn you on?”

Young Aether instinctively looked toward the piece of purple underwear she was holding. It barely looked capable of covering anything, consisting of little more than a thin strip of fabric connected by delicate strings.

A purple thong…

With even less material than he had expected.

If Sandra or Aqualina ever wore something like that…

Man… it’s going to blast!!

They’d never hear the end of his teasing.

“Of course. That’s so fucking ho—OH MY GOD!!”

Young Aether instantly realised what had almost come out of his mouth. His eyes widened in horror as he snapped his head toward Sasha, only to find her already staring at him with a wicked, thoroughly amused grin.

[+1000 AP]

“Oh? So you’re into this… What a naughty boy you are~,” she said with a playful, mischievous smile.

“Then… let me try this.”

The moment those words left her lips, she casually hooked her thumbs around the waistband of her shorts and began pulling them downward.

Like…

Seriously?!

Young Aether’s eyes froze as the glimpse of a red lace panty came into view, decorated with a tiny heart-shaped design at the front just right above—

His brain simply stopped working.

!!!!!!!!!

In the very next second…

Step!

Young Aether’s body moved purely on instinct. Before Sasha could lower her shorts any farther, he stepped forward in a blur and caught the waistband with both hands, immediately pulling them back into place before anything more could be ‘danger’ revealed.

“What the…?” Sasha blinked in genuine surprise. For the first time since teasing him, even she looked slightly caught off guard. She hadn’t even seen him move, only realising he was standing directly in front of her after he had already stopped her.

Young Aether glared straight into her eyes, his face carrying none of the embarrassment from earlier.

Instead, his expression had become unusually serious, and he shouted coldly,

“What the fuck are you doing?”

There wasn’t even the slightest hesitation in his voice.

Because, to him, this had already crossed the line.

This was completely and utterly wrong.

Instead of looking ashamed, Sasha slowly curved her lips into a playful smile, her eyes sparkling with amusement as though she had been expecting exactly this reaction.

“What am I doing?” she asked innocently.

“I’m simply changing my panties. Didn’t you just admit that something like this turns you on? I thought I’d be nice enough to let you have a better look~”

The moment those words left her lips, she casually pushed her shorts downward again with an almost lazy movement.

“…”

Young Aether stared at her for a full second, utterly speechless. His face practically screamed… What the fuck is wrong with this woman?

Without saying another word, he immediately grabbed the waistband again and pulled her shorts right back up.

“Let me change it!”

Pushed down!

“Change it somewhere else, you B—Fuck!”

Pulled up!

“I can change wherever I want. This is my house!!”

Pushed down!

“Damn it! I’m still standing right here! Don’t you have even a little bit of shame?!”

Pulled up!

“Shame?” Sasha blinked innocently. “What’s that?”

Pushed down!

“Oh, for God’s sake… stop it!”

Pulled up!

“Oh? So… you want me to go commando instead?”

Down again.

“…”

Up again.

She couldn’t possibly be serious.

“You’re such a pervert~”

Down again!

“I am… but not for you!”

Up again.

Even in a situation like this…

He was still brutally honest with himself.

What a nice guy~

Sasha burst into laughter, clutching her stomach.

“Hahaha… Look at you getting all flustered. What a sweet little boy you are. Come here. Mommy will teach you about a woman’s body~”

She reached for her shorts again.

Down!!

“Grrr!!!”

Young Aether immediately pulled them back up once more.

At this point, he had completely lost the ability to reason with this woman. Every sentence only made things worse, and every second felt like another step toward complete disaster.

He could only pray…

Please don’t let Jonny walk in right now—

Thud!

“Sasha, are you here…?”

Jonathan stepped into the room.

“…”

Young Aether’s soul quietly left his body.

Metaphorically, of course!

[A/N: Sorry again, everyone. I wasn’t able to upload another chapter today, and I sincerely apologise. This is only for today. Starting next month, I promise I’ll return to uploading chapters every day, along with some bonus chapters whenever I can.

I hope you can understand my situation and give me one more chance to get back on track.

Also… be prepared.

Next month is going to be an emotional roller coaster.

Some of you might end up hating the MC… and that’s completely okay.

After reading your feedback and spending a lot of time thinking about the direction of the story, I realised there were several things I did not need to hold back, as this was an important part of the end of this story.

Because of that, I’ve changed the plot recently for more ruthlessness and gore and made some important changes to the MC’s character development.

His journey won’t always be easy, and he won’t always make choices you’ll agree with. Some of you may dislike him, while others may begin to understand him even more. Either way, I hope you’ll keep an open mind and give him the chance to grow into the person he’s meant to become.

Thank you all for continuing to support this story. I genuinely appreciate every reader who has stayed with me till now, and I hope you’ll enjoy what’s coming next.]
