Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1049: I’m gonna taste the best version of you now!! Hehe~

Sera slowly stepped out of the portal with an almost disbelieving expression on her face. Her breaths were slow, her body slightly trembling—not in fear, but from the overwhelming sensations she felt inside the portal.

Her mind and body were wrapped in a lingering serenity, as if the sanctumʼs warmth still caressed her. And that image... that single golden, shimmering feather... it refused to leave her thoughts.

It was etched into her memory—deep, haunting, beautiful—as if it had always been there, waiting to be remembered.

It didnʼt feel like a vision or a dream... it felt real, like a truth more vivid than anything sheʼd lived through.

Aether sat on the bed, casually petting Snowflake, who had finally stopped sulking after being in the Sanctum. Her cheeks were puffed in cute defiance, but she had succumbed to her masterʼs soothing, heavenly touch.

Aetherʼs gaze shifted to Sera, and the moment he saw her face, concern flickered in his eyes, ”Sera... Are you alright?” he asked, voice low but gently probing.

Sera blinked, her lips parting. She wanted to speak, but words stumbled. She eventually whispered, ”Iʼm fine... I just... Iʼm still trying to wrap my head around what I saw in there.”

Aether tilted his head slightly. ”What did you see?”

As her lips began to move, her voice trembled with a mix of awe and disbelief. She told him everything, every flickering detail..

Aether listened, eyes widening as each word spilled out.

A humongous temple?

An endless space?

A golden feather?

Just what kind of place was that? And how could something so divine... be tied to him?

His heart skipped.

Was it really his?

Sera looked at him with a conflicted expression, part wonder, part confusion. Her lips curled into a half-smile, half-frown. ”I never thought... youʼd be hiding so much from me,” she whispered, her voice fragile, like it could break under the weight of emotion. She looked like she was drifting—lost in thought, lost in him.

Aetherʼs brows furrowed. He truly didnʼt know what she saw. He had tried—tried to enter his own mysterious space one time—but for some reason, it didnʼt allow it.

Even when he sent his clone inside to check the state of his awe-filled storage realm... even they had been denied entry.

Sera stared at him with intensity now, like he was a treasure beyond value. ”Just... what are you, Aether?” she asked breathlessly. Her voice was low, heavy with awe, confusion, and... something else—need.

She always thought it was Mother who was favouring him. Giving him everything. Even the Arcane seemed to gift him like he was something special.

But now... it all felt wrong. That golden feather... its gentle warmth, the pureness in its flames... it wasnʼt a gift from anyone.

She had felt it—deep inside her chest, burning into her soul.

There was no way Mother or Arcane could offer something like that. Not even a fraction of it. That feather... that power... it was divine.

Aether... was he the reincarnation of a god?

The mere thought sent a violent shiver racing down her spine. It was insane... but no matter how hard she tried to deny it, the idea made sense.

It terrified her—and yet thrilled her.

And suddenly, he was looking at her, puzzled by her long stare. Aether cleared his throat. ”So... any other questions about my Log?” he asked with a slight, awkward smile.

She blinked, pulled out of her thoughts. ”No... Iʼm not sure about the rest. Except...” She hesitated, then softly added, ”You should name your race, Aether.”

That caught him off guard. ”Yeah... right,” he replied, scratching the back of his neck. Itʼs not like heʼd forgotten or anything...

[You really forgot that 😑.]

He grimaced, ignoring the Log, and muttered reluctantly, ”I will... maybe.” His expression darkened as he thought about the one heʼd have to meet again.

He wasnʼt exactly eager to see that annoying woman.

Sera noticed his reluctance and her expression turned serious. Her tone deepened, voice now filled with warning, ”Aether... giving a name to your bloodline will awaken its true potential. And you... You might undergo a transformation, too. You could grow. Evolve.”

Aether blinked again. ”...Really?”

Sera nodded. ”New bloodlines arenʼt unheard of. Theyʼre rare, yes, but they exist. Maybe one in a thousand years, maybe more. But once you name your bloodline, the Mother will recognise it. And then... who knows? You might start unlocking things youʼve never imagined.”

Aether took a deep breath, nodding slowly as her words sank into him.

Should he just bitchy about it?

Or... Growth?

Of course, growth was more important!

He clenched his jaw, ʼFuck... guess Iʼll have to see that bitch again,ʼ he thought with irritation.

Watching him silently agree with her, Sera smiled. A quiet, knowing, lovely smile. ”Today has been... full of surprises,” she murmured, voice silky and warm.

Aether chuckled softly. ”Indeed...” His eyes settled on her again—firm, unwavering. They locked into her like he could see through her clothes and into her soul. His gaze burned—hungry, wanting.

Seraʼs breath hitched, cheeks flushing as a smile curled on her lips. She leaned closer, seductive and bold, her body swaying in rhythm with the growing tension between them. ”You want more~” she purred, her voice a sultry whisper that sent a ripple through the air.

She slowly climbed into his lap with deliberate grace, every movement teasing, tempting.

Snowflake, who had been innocently resting in Aetherʼs lap, let out a loud, annoyed sigh. Her tiny body slithered off with exaggerated depression—as if sheʼd seen this movie one too many times—before slipping under the bed with a grumble. Her little lips moved in silent complaint, muttering something only she could understand.

Sera sat softly on his lap, her touch deliberate, graceful—like a cat testing the warmth of the fire. And the moment she sank down, her eyes widened slightly. Since Aether was naked beneath the quilt, she could feel his hard, throbbing length press right against her thin panties. It pulsed beneath her, teasing her heat through the layers of cloth that now felt criminally unnecessary.

”Naughty god~” she whispered with a wicked grin, dragging her voice out in a teasing purr. Her breath tickled his lips. ”Needs some punishment~”

Aether chuckled, his amusement low and deep, even though he didnʼt like the word god being used on himself. But... the way she said it—dripping with heat, with a seductive edge that made his blood boil—it was surprisingly exciting.

His fingers tightened around her hips, possessive, hungry, claiming her curves like they were moulded for him alone. He leaned forward and kissed her lips.

”~Hmm~”

At first, it was just a simple peck, a warm connection. But it didnʼt stay that way.

It grew—into passion, into raw, greedy lust.

Their mouths crashed together.

”~Hmmmrrrpp~”

She whimpered softly, her voice melting between the wet slaps of their lips. Aether kissed her deeply, sucking on her tongue, exploring her mouth as if tasting the very essence of her soul.

Her soft whimper trembled against him as she clung to his shoulders, overwhelmed, unable to keep up with the sheer force of his advance.

Her tongue lay there, defeated—surrendered completely for him to devour.

His fingers dug into her flesh, pulling her closer, feeling her warmth through every curve. She moaned into his mouth as her fingers clenched tight on his shoulders, nails digging in.

And slowly, reluctantly, their lips parted. A shimmering, wet string of saliva formed between them.

Sera leaned forward and, with a cheeky, wicked grin, sucked the string into her mouth, slowly licking her lips in a teasing circle, deliberately seductive. Her eyes gleamed with hunger. ”Aether~” she moaned his name, her voice sultry and aching.

Her face softened into a pleading expression, cheeks flushed with both desire and excitement.

Last night, she had lost herself in him. But this time, her body—her mind—was fully ready. She had tasted love, care, protection, and now... she could handle him better. She wanted to handle him better. This time, she was going to ride him to the edge and back.

Not going to leave him like before~

She was really going to dry him off—completely.

Her tongue ran slowly across her lips again as her hips began to sway, shaking her ass teasingly over his rock-hard cock under the quilt.

She was just about to slide off her pure white robe, peeling it open to reveal more skin, when—

”You know...” Aether murmured softly, a calm yet mischievous tone curling from his lips, ”The deal we made during the game?”

Sera paused mid-motion, flinching a little. Her breath hitched as she blinked, slightly annoyed yet curious. ”Yeah... that we have to do what the other says...” she said, her voice still breathless. Her thighs were already burning with need, and now he was starting to talk? ”You had one command and I had one, right?”

Her eyes glinted dangerously, and her panties were already soaked, the damp fabric clinging to her sensitive folds. She already knew where this was going... he was about to twist this into something else, wasnʼt he?

She slowly panted, her chest rising and falling with every heated breath, and stared into his eyes with eager anticipation.

Aether smirked like a devil. ”But before that... thereʼs something I need to know first.” His voice dipped lower.

”You can transform into a younger version of yourself, right? Stella?”

Sera nodded, panting softly. She didnʼt want this chit-chat right now—her body was burning. She needed him, now. But still, she answered, trying not to roll her eyes.

”Yeah,” she replied quickly, trying to focus.

Aetherʼs eyes stayed on her. ”Iʼve been wondering… is that form like... you reversing your age? Or is it an ability of yours? And... why does your personality change there? Itʼs almost like a succubus or something.”

Sera blinked, her breath catching as she realised why he was curious. She exhaled slowly, trying to slow her racing heart. ”Itʼs not really an ability or anything similar to a succubus... Itʼs just—my desired weapon... Transformation”

Aether raised his eyebrows, surprised. ”Your transformation is your weapon? You mean you can literally change into something else?”

Sera paused for a moment, tilting her head thoughtfully before replying. ”Well... not exactly. You see, when I got baptised... I wished to become the best version of myself. Stella was weak, right? So... my desired weapon was transformation—a transformation into that version I considered my truest strength.”

Aether blinked in surprise, absorbing the depth in her words. ”Best version... You mean Stella?” he asked with a frown.

Sera gave a weak, slightly embarrassed smile. ”Whether you believe it or not... I couldnʼt use my weapon when I was Stella. But then, after Mother blessed me, I changed... My abilities soared. Everything about me evolved. And then, I could finally use my desired weapon. But strangely, whenever I activate it... It turns me into Stella. And I canʼt turn into anyone else. Just her.”

Aether stared at her quietly, the words hitting something deep in him.

ʼBest version… ah…ʼ

Then he smiled, softly. Genuinely.

”I get it,” he said.

”Hmm?” Sera tilted her head.

Aether looked at her with warmth in his eyes, the corner of his lips curling into something tender. ”I think... I understand now. Why Stella is the best version of you,” he murmured.

Even though Sera was powerful, gorgeous, fierce... that innocent girl—Stella—who worked hard, who sacrificed everything to protect others... she was the foundation. The purest, rawest expression of who Sera was.

That moment in time—when she gave it her all, risking it all—that was what made her the best version of herself.

A moment like that can never be truly repeated, only remembered.

Because the first step is always the most powerful.

The truest part of someone.

”You know? Tell me why?” Sera asked, curious and blinking.

However—

Aether suddenly grinned, his lips stretching into a wicked, hungry smirk. His eyes gleamed with a sinful fire. ”You know what...” he purred, voice thick with promise,

”Iʼm gonna taste the best version of you now!! Hehe~”

”...Huh?” Seraʼs mouth fell open slightly, blinking in disbelief.
