Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 841 841: Check: The Ex-Sovereign: Part-2

”Grrrrrlllll!” The Fox Monster let out a deep, guttural growl, its sharp eyes glaring menacingly.

The tiny hooded figure remained still for a moment before adjusting its stance, straightening its posture, and positioning itself with precision, as if preparing for something intense.

Master Snape, with a smirk playing on his lips, ”Shall we, my students?” he asked, his voice laced with amusement. The moment his words left his mouth, an enormous surge of white flames erupted from his fingertips, surging forward like a tidal wave, heading straight toward them.

Mary didnʼt hesitate. She stepped in front of Dora and Sandra, her hand raising swiftly. Darkness swirled around her palm before morphing into jet-black flames that shot out to meet the incoming white fire.

The collision was instant, the flames clashing in midair with a deafening roar.

SSSSHHHHHHHH!!!

As soon as the two forces met, a massive ripple spread through the air, creating shockwaves that sent vibrations through the ground. The force of the impact was enough to rattle bones, yet before the dust could even settle, both sides were already in motion, launching into battle without a momentʼs pause.

Maryʼs lips curled in frustration as her eyes landed on the small hooded figure. Her irritation was palpable as she clenched her fists, her voice sharp with fury, ”I swear, Iʼm taking down that little shit,” she spat, her gaze burning with annoyance.

The mere thought of that tiny figure humiliating her earlier, capturing her as if she were nothing, made her blood boil.

What would happen if her daughter knew this? She couldnʼt face her anymore!!

Sandra, standing beside her, sighed softly before shifting her focus to the monstrous fox. ”Then Iʼll handle this oversized mutt,” she said in a calm, almost casual tone. Without wasting a second, she leapt to the side, her body moving with precision as hundreds of razor-sharp water knives behind her, slicing through the air as they chased after her intended target.

Dora gave a firm nod before fixing her attention on Master Snape. Her body tensed as she inhaled sharply. ʼI hope everything goes smoothly,ʼ she thought, trying to push down the gnawing sense of unease settling in her chest.

She barely had time to react as a massive hand shot toward her with terrifying speed. Her instincts kicked in, and she swiftly flicked her fingers, narrowly dodging the attack as she staggered back.

”Too slow!” Master Snapeʼs voice was mocking, his lips curled in amusement. In the blink of an eye, he lunged forward, his leg swinging high. The force behind his kick sent a powerful gust through the air, but Dora was quick. She twisted her body, barely avoiding the direct impact. However, even though she dodged, the sheer force of his attack was enough to shake her balance.

Despite that, she wasnʼt about to back down. Her fingers twitched slightly before she flicked them forward, shooting something toward him.

Master Snapeʼs expression shifted instantly.

His body jerked back as if on instinct, his reaction almost too quick for it to be normal. For a split second, there was something in his eyes—hesitation, or perhaps even fear.

ʼSo he is still afraid of this...ʼ Dora thought, her mind racing. ʼMaybe itʼs some kind of PTSD?ʼ

Seizing the moment, she clenched her fist tightly. The air around her twisted violently, condensing into a bullet-like force that spiralled forward with terrifying speed. It punctured through the air, striking Master Snapeʼs body.

BOOMMM!!

A strangled grunt left his lips as pain shot through him. His hand instinctively flew to his stomach, where blood seeped through his robes. His eyes widened in brief shock as he stared down at his wound, confusion flickering across his face. ʼI can... bleed too? What did they give to me? I need to know it!!ʼ he wondered. But that moment of distraction was all Dora needed.

Without missing a beat, she struck again, her movements even fiercer than before.

Meanwhile—

”You little fucking shit! Stay the fuck still!!” Maryʼs voice rang out, laced with pure frustration. No matter how fast she moved, no matter how many times she tried to grab hold of it, the tiny figure kept slipping through her fingers like a damn ghost.

It was infuriating... It wasnʼt just fast—it was something else entirely.

Chucckk...

Chukkkk....

Like before, the hooded figure appeared out of nowhere, its blade piercing into Maryʼs body before she could react. It vanished the very next second, only to reappear from a different angle, stabbing her again before she even had a chance to defend herself.

Mary let out an annoyed groan, her teeth gritting in frustration. Something about this thing didnʼt add up. She needed to think, to figure it out. If she could pinpoint the exact moment it appeared, she might be able to counter it. But that was easier said than done. The damn thing was already stabbing her the moment it materialized—it wasnʼt just fast, it was beyond comprehension.

ʼThink, Mary... Think… You are Bloody Mary for fuckʼs sake... You should be dancing in the bloo—ʼ

Her thoughts came to a sudden halt. A realization struck her like lightning. Her lips curled into a sharp grin as she slowly lowered her gaze to her stomach, where multiple swords had already impaled her as blood leaked down.

Meanwhile—

Sandra tilted her head, watching the Fox Monster lunge toward her with its fangs bared. It was so close—almost too close—but she remained unfazed. In one swift motion, she sidestepped the attack, her blade slicing cleanly through one of its massive legs.

For a brief second, it seemed like she had the upper hand.

Then she watched as the severed limb began to regrow right before her eyes.

Her brows lifted slightly, a smirk tugging at her lips. ”Oh? You too?” she mused to herself. ”Well, in that case... Freezing you should do the trick again”

Without hesitation, she raised her hand, her fingers flicking slightly as hundreds of water knives shot forward with deadly precision.

The Fox Monster reacted immediately. It wasnʼt stupid—it remembered what had happened before. It knew it couldnʼt afford to let her attack land again. It jumped, dodging with impressive agility, moving like a true fox despite its enormous size.

But its sheer mass made it difficult to move as fast as it needed to.

And just like that—

It froze again, trapped in ice within mere seconds.

Sandra let out a soft chuckle as she turned her gaze toward Dora. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she observed the ongoing battle between her and Master Snape. Surprisingly, Dora seemed to be holding her own.

In fact, she had the upper hand.

ʼShe said he was supposed to be strong and all...ʼ Sandra thought, her lips pursing. Then, something clicked in her mind—Dora had mentioned something about a thin transparent line, unlike the dark ones they possessed.

ʼHmm... So heʼs still not as strong as we thought?ʼ she murmured to herself, her thoughts shifting toward Aether. What exactly was he planning?

Her gaze flickered toward Mary, and the moment she saw what she was doing, her expression twisted in pure bewilderment.

ʼWhat the hell is she doing now?ʼ Sandraʼs face scrunched up as she watched Mary, who was—

ʼIs she seriously spraying her own blood around like itʼs fucking water?!ʼ

A heavy sigh left Sandraʼs lips as she shook her head, ʼDamn... These women are seriously weird.ʼ

Meanwhile...

Mary stood in the centre of the battlefield, her blood spread all around her. She remained perfectly still, her expression eerily calm, as if she were patiently waiting for something to happen.

Then, without warning—

Flucckkk!

Maryʼs eyes widened in an instant. Without hesitation, she threw her sword toward the source of the sound, her instincts guiding her hand even though she could not see her target.

Chucckkk!

The blade struck, It simply embedded itself into thin air, as if it had hit something.

A slow grin crept onto Maryʼs lips, her expression darkening with realization. ”I see now... You have the ability to erase your presence completely and turn invisible, donʼt you?” she murmured, her voice laced with wicked amusement. The realization hit her like a flash of clarity. Now everything made sense—why no one had been able to detect this figure, even when it was right next to them, lurking in the shadows like a ghost.

The sword, still floating as if stuck in nothingness, was yanked out and fell to the ground with a dull thud.

Then—

Flucckkk!

Flucckkk!

Flucckkk!

The sickening sound of wet, splattering blood echoed through the battlefield, creating a grotesque rhythm. A fresh trail of red stains marred the ground, revealing the figureʼs desperate attempt to flee from the blood-soaked surface. Every step it took left behind a betraying mark, making it impossible to remain completely hidden.

Mary let out a low, sinister chuckle. ”Hah... You really think you can run from me, little bitch~?” she taunted, her voice dripping with twisted amusement.

With a sharp stomp, she slammed her foot against the bloodied ground, sending a ripple of energy outward. A surge of raw power coursed through her body as countless crimson swords materialized in her hands, each one gleaming with deadly intent. She wasted no time, launching them forward with precision. The tiny figure may have remained invisible, but the wet splashes of blood outlined its movements, making it far too easy for her to track.

Chucckkk!

Chucckkk!

Chucckkk!

Chucckkk!

The blades embedded themselves in the air, striking something unseen. A faint flicker of the figureʼs silhouette appeared as it stumbled under the relentless assault. Then, in a desperate bid to survive, it vanished once more, staggering away in an attempt to escape.

”Youʼre not going anywhere, my bitch~” Mary cooed darkly, her voice thick with amusement.

She clenched her fist, and in an instant, the blood spread across the ground and trembled violently before surging upward, twisting and hardening into an inescapable cage. The crimson walls pulsed like a living thing, closing in around the trapped figure.

TThucckkk!

Sandra, who had been watching from the sidelines, raised an eyebrow in interest. ”Thatʼs a pretty good idea” she muttered, a hint of amusement in her tone.

Maryʼs grin widened as she spotted the figureʼs trembling feet pressed against the corner of the blood cage. Her expression twisted into something truly sinister. ”Itʼs alright, dear~ I wonʼt hurt you...” she purred, her voice sickly sweet, yet oozing with cruelty.

Meanwhile,

”Huff... Huff... Huff...” Dora panted heavily. Every muscle in her body burned from exertion, and yet, she knew she could not stop—not now.

Master, on the other hand, appeared unnervingly composed. He was adjusting, adapting to his new form, gradually moulding his body to this overwhelming power. He had yet to unleash his full strength, but Dora could feel it—he was slowly getting used to his body now, and that was the most terrifying part.

However, Mater felt something felt disturbingly wrong.

Master furrowed his brows, his movements slowing for just a fraction of a second. He was supposed to feel fatigued by now, yet he did not.

Instead, he felt energized, almost as if something was fueling him from within. Instead of exhaustion, he was experiencing something entirely different—he felt rejuvenated, invigorated as if his very essence was being rewritten.

And more than that... he could sense it.

His power wasnʼt just stabilizing—it was growing at an unnatural pace. It was as though something deep inside him had awakened as if time itself had rever--

”N-No... No, no, no... Thatʼs not possible!” Master gasped, his golden eyes widening in pure shock. His fingers twitched slightly before clenching into a tight fist. He could feel it—something foreign, something terrifying coursing through his veins,

”That blood never existed in this world... Thereʼs no way... no possible way that lost primordial blood could be here...” His voice was barely above a whisper, his mind racing, trying to deny the truth unfolding before him. ”It must be something Dora gave me...”

His golden hair began to lengthen, his aura shifting and growing denser, more suffocating with every passing moment.

Doraʼs sharp eyes flickered as she observed the change. A faint chill ran down her spine when she noticed the undeniable truth—the once faint, transparent black line surrounding him... was darkening.

Her lips curled into a wry, exhausted smile. ”Fuck... Heʼs getting even stronger,” she groaned, already drained from the battle. The weight of the situation pressed down on her shoulders, and she knew—this fight was about to take a far deadlier turn.

Aether stared at the log, his expression unreadable, as if he were patiently waiting for something to unfold. Without a word, he reached down, grabbing a handful of dust and debris before smearing it across his face and body.

And then, without a word, he moved.
