Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 136: His Dark side again and again coming out!

”She-male?” Aether blurted out, looking at the middle-aged man with long elf ears and flowing white hair that cascaded down to his hips, making him resemble a.... woman.

”Pardon?” The middle-aged man frowned, puzzled by Aetherʼs strange comment.

”N-Nothing... Youʼre the professor, right?” Aether hastily redirected the conversation, inwardly berating himself, ʼDamn, Aether!! Canʼt you just shut the fuck up?!ʼ

The man furrowed his brow for a moment before nodding with a smile and introducing himself, ”Yes, I am the Professor who welcomed you all in the Entrance Ceremony... My name is Alaric Zephyr, also known as the Emperor of Aerionis Zephyra.”

”Oh...” Aetherʼs mouth formed a wide ʼOʼ as he glanced at Aria, who simply looked away, ʼFuck you, Log!! I know I asked for a mature woman, but at least give me someone unmarried!! This time you really chose a VVIP MIL-- umm, married woman? Sheʼs the fucking queen of Aerionis Zephyra!!! Did you finally acknowledge my kink-- Fuck! What am I even thinking?ʼ His inner turmoil raged on.

Alaric frowned at Aetherʼs behaviour even though he introduced himself already, ”Where are your manners?”

”Pardon?... Oh! Sorry, My nam---arrh” Aether furrowed his brow, and then was just about to reply when,

Alaric didnʼt respond verbally; instead, he simply gazed at Aether, causing Aetherʼs legs to tremble as if he were being weighed down by an immense force.

”Kneel,” Alaric commanded, and Aether was forced to kneel when the pressure almost crushed his body, unable to resist the overwhelming pressure exerted by Alaricʼs presence.

Aether couldnʼt even lift his eyelids!

Ignoring Aether, Alaric turned his attention to Aria, who spoke with disdain, ”Are you trying to show off in front of a child? Thatʼs utterly disgusting. Stop that!”

Alaric sighed and explained, ”I am not on duty at the moment as Professor.... I am the Emperor, and I was merely reminding him of my authority. Nothing more.”

”I see...” Aria responded, her expression blank.

”Yes, unlike you, I need to maintain a certain image. Otherwise, everyone would think the rulers of Aerionis Zephyra were pushovers,” Alaric remarked seriously.

Aria shook her head in disbelief, ”Stop that...” She gestured towards Aether, who was still forced to kneel.

”I will, but first, tell me what you were discussing earlier.

Do you know him?

How long have you known him?

You smile a lot for him.... and

You seemed to be blushing quite a lot,” Alaric inquired, his tone tinged with annoyance, anger, and.... a hint of jealousy.

”Are you serious?” Aria couldnʼt help but be shocked by Alaricʼs visible jealousy towards Aether, who had simply been offering her nothing more than compliments, ”Are you really jealous of him? Heʼs just a child compared to me... Seriously!” Ariaʼs disgust was evident as she lifted herself from the bed, preparing to assist Aether to stand-up.

”Arcane”

A sudden flash of light filled the room, followed by a deafening sound.

”SLAAM!!”

”OI, Motherfucker!!..... Are you looking down on me?”

When Aria regained her vision, she witnessed Aether gripping Alaricʼs neck, slamming him against the wall.

Aetherʼs pupils flickered with a dark, void-like colour. He stared blankly into Alaricʼs silver eyes.

Aether didnʼt summon his Arcane Card just to unleash his dark side; he did it to ensure he wouldnʼt show mercy before a woman.... Actually, He was a little soft before the woman because of his Ex who would always be worried and fearful when he got into a fight.

Thatʼs why even when he was surrounded by Blake and his group he didnʼt fully fight because of Stella..... He always thinks of running away.

Most of all,

In his current state, Aether was mostly concerned about maintaining his Affection points with Aria, but his pride really hurt now.

Even though he had been forced to kneel before, those instances were when he was fully under their control..... and He was still under them so he had to kneel however...

Before this man,

Who was this man to him? A FUCKING NOBODY!!! To Aether.

Kneeling before Alaric fueled Aetherʼs anger to the point where he cared little about Ariaʼs affection; he needed to reclaim his pride!

His Dark side was the only answer, willing to go to any lengths to achieve what he wanted.

While Alaric was surprised to see a mere servant withstand his pressure, he remembered Aetherʼs ability to blast High-Level Monsters with a single spell.

”Surprising...” Alaric mumbled, not truly taken aback, as he was far stronger than Aether.

Suddenly, Aether chuckled, ”Hehe....Surprising... right? You Motherfucker!”

A wave of information flooded Aetherʼs mind, yet unlike before, he felt no pain. Instead...

”Hehehe...” The influx of information brought him joy.

ʼssssssʼ

Alaricʼs eyes widened as he felt Aether attempting to pressure him with Arcane Energy. ʼW-When did he learn?ʼ

Pressuring someone with Arcane Energy requires a wealth of information to process and precise control over Arcane Energy.

Even a mere glance was enough to pressure the weak, yet Aetherʼs increased Magic Affinity was sufficient to shock and awe Alaric.

ʼIs he really just a servant?ʼ Alaric wondered, but he quickly shook off the thought. He couldnʼt afford to show weakness before his wife. With a smirk, Alaric unleashed half of his Maximum potential... No, more like he was tried to do but,

”I will call the Principal,” the old woman, who was simply sipping her tea, stated without any sense of urgency or worry.

Hearing the mention of the Principal, Alaric instantly calmed himself, but before he could react further, Aether interjected with an amused smile, ”What are you scared of... an old hag?”

Alaricʼs lips twitched in irritation, poised to teach Aether a lesson when the old woman intervened once more.

”Young man, you need to calm down too” she gently admonished.

”I wonʼt! Heʼs the one who started this!” Aether protested adamantly.

With a resigned sigh, the old woman turned to Aether and addressed him, ”Wonʼt you do this for an old lady like me?”

Aether was momentarily startled before his expression returned to normal as well and his eyes returned normal, ”W-Well... Iʼll let this slide this one time,” he conceded with a shrug.

As much as he wanted to act like a delinquent, Aether had a soft spot for elderly people.

After letting off Alraic, who was about to issue some warnings to some kind of villain when the old woman simply shooed him away like a dog.... Alaric face turned furious with an annoyed expression he left.

Once he had left, Aria apologized, ”Iʼm sorry. It all happened because of me.” She hoped Aether would understand her circumstances and let the matter slide.... However,

He wasnʼt about to miss this opportunity to score some points!

”No, I wonʼt unless you give me a kiss,” Aether stated boldly, then blinked in surprise at his own words.

”PUFFF!!”

”Cough, cough!” The old woman sputtered, choking on her tea.

Aria also looked at Aether with a perplexed expression.

ʼWhat did I just say?ʼ Aether wondered, but then he was surprised to hear a notification chime.
