Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 134: Teenage Hormones

As their lips were about to touch, Aether turned his head slightly, causing Seleneʼs lips to land softly on his cheek.

”~hmm~”

Seleneʼs eyes widened in surprise as she realized Aether had avoided the kiss. Tears welled up in her eyes.

”I-I am sorry... I-It must have fe.. felt di-disgusting... I- I am sorry...Please, D-Donʼt hate me, P-Please” Selene stammered, trying to hold back her tears that were trying to break down. She had just realized that Aether might not remember their past or her promise to him.

What she had done was nothing but one-sided feelings thrust upon a stranger.

ʼDrip, Dripʼ

”Ah? W-Why?” Selene mumbled, feeling her tears escaping involuntarily when she thought the word ʼStrangerʼ... she never thought she would be a stranger to Aether.

Aether was taken aback by her tears. ʼIt must be hard for her...ʼ he thought. He lifted his hand to wipe away her tears but stopped himself, realizing he wasnʼt.... Ether.

Her love and tears were for Ether..... not Aether.

He couldnʼt bring himself to utter words like ʼIʼll take care of her in your placeʼ because he understood the weight of love. To him, such words felt repulsive, especially to someone who genuinely loved Ether.

This girl loved Ether, who was nothing more than a slave and a selfless boy. She loved him unconditionally... Not Aether, who was selfish and flawed.

Aether couldnʼt allow himself to seduce a girl who was not even his target but also already in love with Ether.... not Aether.

Her love was pure, unlike his... whose life was going to be filled with the manipulation and seduction of lots of women... driven by his mission and his fucked up life.

Though Aether believed Ether was similar to him..... the truth was they were not the same.

Ether and Aether were not the same!!!!

Ether was truly loved by someone who accepted him wholeheartedly without any care for his egoless part.

Unlike Aether!! Who had lots of errors in his damn body!

Even so...

Even more...

ʼDripʼ

When he saw her crying, something inside Aether cracked, as if a part of him was torn, reminiscent of the pain he felt when his ex broke up with him.

”E-Ether? Why are you c-crying?” Selene paused, shocked when she saw tears well up in Aetherʼs left eye and flowing down to his cheek.

Quickly composing herself, Selene took one of her clothes and gently wiped Aetherʼs tears. ”D-Donʼt cry! I-I wonʼt do it again... I-I am sorry”

Aether stared at her, seeing her concern even though she was hurting herself. She really worried and cared only for.... Ether.

Without realizing it, his hand reached out and caught hers. Looking into her surprised eyes, Aether spoke softly, ”I am... not Ether.”

”...” Seleneʼs eyes softened with understanding. ”Yeah, I know youʼre not...” She acknowledged that Aether without his past memories was not the same as Ether.

”...” Aether knew she misunderstood, but he couldnʼt find the words to correct her.

”But I do believe my Ether will return to me one day,” Selene said with a strong and determined expression, as if she held unwavering faith in her love.

”...” Aether could only smile at her steadfast ʼLoveʼ.

”Haha,” Aether chuckled softly, shaking his head in disbelief before leaning forward impulsively...

”~Hmm~”

Seleneʼs eyes widened as she felt soft lips pressing against hers.... Not only her but even Aether was shocked by his own actions. Both Aether and Selene were taken aback by the unexpected intimacy.

For every second, Aether received five notifications, indicating the duration of their kiss. They remained locked in the moment for about five seconds before Aether gently pulled away, both of their faces flushed bright red.

The room was filled with the sound of their racing hearts, each beat echoing louder than ever.

”I-I am l-eaving!!” Aether said urgently, his heart racing as he hurriedly exited her room, overwhelmed by the intensity of their brief moment.

It took a few moments for Selene to come back to reality, her hand subconsciously touching her lips, still feeling the warmth from their kiss.

”aww~Wawwhh~wwwhahaaa~” Incoherent sounds escaped her lips as she jumped onto the bed, burying her face under the pillow in embarrassment.

She couldnʼt help but feel shocked by how Aetherʼs kiss caught her off guard, her face, neck, and even ears turning red and hot as embarrassment flooded her.

”P-Pervert...” she mumbled under her breath, her mind filled with the memory of his smile and the unexpected Kiss.

Though she started it still....

”HMMMMMFFFFFF!!!” Selene covered her face tightly with her hands, her legs kicking the bed in a mix of flustered emotions and disbelief at what had just transpired.

Meanwhile, outside Seleneʼs room...

”Huff-Huff-Huff,” Aether panted heavily, trying to catch his breath as he crouched by Seleneʼs door.

He was in a squatting position while hiding his red face!

ʼD-Did I really kiss a teenage girl?ʼ Aetherʼs expression was one of horror and confusion. He was certain he hadnʼt intended for it to happen, yet the moment had unfolded beyond his control. When he saw her vulnerable and sad too side... He felt he would regret something if he didnʼt comfort her now.

ʼI-Is this what Etherʼs feeling?ʼ Aether questioned himself, his mind racing with thoughts of identity and emotions. ʼI need to investigate this but how?... Are these feelings truly Etherʼs or... Mine?ʼ Aether shook his head, convinced that he couldnʼt have feelings for anyone, yet his heart raced uncontrollably... Like he did a marathon!!

”Excuse me?”

Suddenly, a voice snapped him out of his thoughts. Aether still crouched down, finally looked up and saw an ash-haired girl staring at him intently.

”A-Ashara Nightfire?” Aether mumbled in surprise.

”Oh? You know me?” Asharaʼs expression shifted to surprise.

”Y-Yeah,” Aether replied, wondering why this girl was speaking to him.

”Haha... Iʼm really famous now~” Ashara whispered with happiness, her gaze lingering on Aether with even more intensity.

”I-Is something wrong?” Aether asked, a flicker of doubt in his voice, as he felt Asharaʼs gaze roam all over his body, making him feel exposed as if he were standing there naked.

”Your face is red... why?” Asharaʼs tone was filled with genuine curiosity, her eyes studying his flushed complexion.

ʼRed? Am I really blushing? FUCK!!ʼ Aetherʼs mind raced with embarrassment and frustration before he tried to regain his composure,

ʼSniff, Sniff,ʼ

Ashara suddenly sniffed the air, her head tilting with even more curiosity as she probed further, ”You are discharging... Mating hormones, Why?”

Hearing Asharaʼs observation, Aetherʼs face turned blank, ʼM-mating?ʼ... his eyes instinctively dropping down to where Ashara was looking, and...

”FUCKKKKK!!!” Aetherʼs exclamation echoed in the corridor as he realized the embarrassing situation he was in, a slight bulge in his pants causing him intense embarrassment.

”HIKKK!!” Ashara was visibly taken aback by Aetherʼs outburst, her surprise evident on her face as she took a step back, unsure of what had just transpired.

”Whatʼs with the noise?”

Another voice cut through the tension, and Aetherʼs eyes widened in recognition. Without a word, he turned on his heel and dashed towards the spatial elevator, disappearing from view in a flash.

”Hmm? Is that... Aether?” Lia frowned in confusion as she noticed Aetherʼs sudden departure, and then she glanced at Ashara, who was still looking puzzled.

Ashara didnʼt respond to Lia, with a shrug, Ashara decided to let the moment pass and retreated back to her room.

ʼWhat in the world just happened?ʼ Lia couldnʼt help but wonder, her mind buzzing with questions. She then turned her attention to Seleneʼs room, where she planned to catch up with her friend after that fateful day.
